Harvest Moon Deli

Food is decent and the rolls are fresh which is why I gave them two stars. My husband and I used to have breakfast here every weekend, but over the past few months the quality of service just went down hill. Every order we made came out wrong in one way or another. They started overcooking the bacon to the point where it has the consistency of jerkey. And the last time we went, I ordered eggs over easy, got home to find they were scrambled, husband drove back, they remade them, when I opened the box, the yolks were splattered all over the plate, husband brought them back again and they told him «that’s how over easy eggs come. What we want is over-​medium because it is impossible to keep over easy yolks in tact.» They made the eggs again and this time overcooked the hell out of them and with a condescending attitude, asked my husband if these were good enough for him. We gave up at this point and just went home and I cooked my own eggs (perfect over easy with the yolks intact).
We generally try to support local businesses, but this one will not be seeing our patronage again.

I have been following the owners of this deli to it’s now third location. Food is always fresh made, including the salads which most delis buy in five gallon buckets. They don’t skimp on sandwiches. Usually only can eat half. Great breakfast. And the best chicken cutlets around. Love this place.

Great sandwhiches and homemade salads. It’s great to have a real deli back in the neighborhood. I’m a stickler when it comes to deli salads and these are worth a visit.
