They start you off slow and you earn faster speeds. It is a well maintained facility, and the employees are very helpful. I’m trying to get to level 4 now!

Awful!!! If you’re a female, good luck moving up the speed levels. I got stuck behind a slow driver and instead of letting me pass them, they let all the men behind me pass both of us. Plus the workers pressured me to join the other race, so they wouldn’t have to stick around longer for just the two of us to race. So upset we wasted date night on this place! Sticking to G-force from now on. Y’all want to have some real go carting racing fun, G-force is worth the drive!

We had a corporate event party here for an employee who loves Nascar. Best idea ever. Not only was it fairly inexpensive, they included all the beverages/plates/cutlery/a private table/an ice cream cake/and surprise trophies that had everyone laughing. The staff was friendly, and kept us informed on our upcoming heats, was flexible with moving people into different races and gave us a really good time. Thanks for making this party super easy on us Thunderbolt!

Amazing time was had here! Kid and I took advantage of the discounted lunch special, only $ 12 per race. The staff here is super friendly, organized, and really mindful about safety. All drivers are briefed on safety procedures and track rules before suited up in your helmet and neck brace. The karts are fast and fun to go around the track. We will definitely have to do this again!

I went with a networking group and was very impressed. The place is very well managed and clean as a whistle. Really seems perfect for adult team building functions and family fun for kids and parties. I liked it much more than the other indoor racing facilities I have been to.

Recently attended an event here for my company. What a great experience! Everyone of my coworkers had a great time. Managers Reece and Ricky where extremely helpful along with the rest of the staff. Would highly recommend anyone to go and try racing here, they won’t be disappointed!

HUGE waste of money! Spend the extra 20 minutes driving and go to G-Force. It was overpriced being 20 $, the karts were the slowest pieces of crap ever! They’re supposed to be «Faster than traditional gas karts and better handling!» But they went 15 mph top speed. The track was poorly designed and small, it felt like every turn was the exact same and equally boring. All in all i had a TERRIBLE time and felt so bad when i realized i wasted so much money on that bad experience. I hope this guides someone into the right direction and saves them money! Ps. I wish i could give it zero stars

We went on 12−24−14 to kick off our holiday fun. The first thing you notice when you walk in the door is how clean and bright the place is. We were welcomed immediately, received really clear instructions and within minutes were in the racing area. The staff in the racing area solidified the 5 star rating, job well done.

This place is clean and spacious and would be a great way for anyone to learn karting. The setup is well managed and can allow groups and parties for business or fun. These are electric karts, and the workers control your access to speed and power. They explained to me there are 4 speeds, with the top being possible 45 – 50 mph if you could achieve that on a straightaway. The first one is what they use to allow you to move onto the track. Then once on the track, they open you to your speed rating. The speed you are allowed to run depends on prior performance under the account you register when you first begin racing with them. Racers do not start at the same time, as they are staggered by a few seconds and do not race against each other but against the clock. The winner of the heat is determined by the one with the fastest lap. If you turn at least 5 of the 16 total laps in 22 seconds or less, they raise you from your initial No. 2 speed to the next power at No. 3. When you are able to complete at least 5 laps at speed No. 3 under 19.5 seconds, they raise you to the highest possible power, level No. 4. Each new level requires a different line on the track and different methods and breaking, acceleration, coasting and turning skills that you will need to master. Some do better than others at this. The races seem long enough and you get your money’s worth for kart racing. It’s an awesome experience either for fun or for competition if you love the feel of your tires on the road and aren’t afraid of speed. It can be exhilarating or terrifying, depending on how you perform under pressure.

Very nice place I went with my boss and his family and friends.(they were experienced) I wasent I’m karting. When we arrived we made a log at the computer as the lady at the front desk quickly, helped us we noticed another girl laying on the floor. There were tables and chairs in the lobby so I don’t know what she was doing anyways as soon as you pay it’s 20 $ for 1 race — 1 race is 16 laps. — seems like a while… They give you a head sock to use to put on we did we got out neck brace and helmet. We, waited about 20mins to get on the track for. The people in front of us could go. We finially get to the carts they show us a poster, with flags on it they show you to your kart then. You sit down and they put your seatbelt on you my seatbelt was so tight it was really hard to steer my cart because I could turn my arm or body or anything. I was last the kart went fast to(me) no experience. Also when you get«passed» you almost have to stop because of how small the track is. It was small to me… Curves. No straightaways and no advice on how to drive this thing. I don’t like how when you are not experienced they don’t have more of a discussion about how this works and you get thrown into a track that you have never driven before it’s very nerve racking. After you are finished you get a piece of paper saying what you placed — for lap time — I was last! After you drive that’s it you either buy more races or get out that’s the vibe i got! But overall nice place I would take someone if they already knew how to drive go karts not first timers!

I went to Thunderbolt with my grandfather and had a great time. They gave us a head sock and the karts that we drove were clean and very fast. The staff that worked there were very helpful. I’d definitely go back.
