Had a late lunch here today. Took nearly 10 minutes before we were acknowledged. Wait staff was slow… I mean sloooow. Friendly enough but zero energy. Just going through the motions. Viewed a couple of tables where wait staff had to be reminded to refill coffee — basic misses My wife and I ordered a Cobb and Greek salad. Her’s arrived with no dressing. 5 minutes later she received it. She also ordered a soup which never came. I told the waiter he removed it from the bill with no apology. The chicken in the salad was cold. As in still frozen cold. Maybe we hit an off time? Maybe it was a mistake to order a salad in a restaurant that’s focus is breakfast. The entire experience was a turn off. We will not return and I could not recommend. Surprising after reading the mostly positive reviews.

The food was pretty good, my dad LOVED the Wisconsin plate(i think it’s called that). My Belgium waffle was OK. The food took forever, but nice people and solid place to go get some breakfast.

I have no complaints about the place from my one visit. However, I’m not a breakfast food sort of person, so I wasn’t impressed by anything either. The chocolate milk was the highlight of my half-hour here.

I did not have a good customer experience. I felt ignored by my server and the the value for what you pay for is bad. It was rated high that’s why I went there but will not go back!

This is really good! Friendly staff when you walk in. Good prices! Great food! I got the steak, egg, mushroom, cheese dish in a skillet with fresh fruit as my side dish! I would come back again. Better than Waffle House hands-down!

My parents were in town and and they wanted to have breakfast here. For around 9 am on Saturday there was no wait at all. Menu is pretty diverse but it seems pretty expensive for breakfast. The average entrée cost is about $ 10. My grandma and I split the french toast platter with scrambled eggs and sausage. Our waiter even had it split it in two plates but the portions were more generous than I thought. Mom ordered the corned beef hash and my dad ordered the Parisian Benedict. The corned beef was actually really good. Not too salty but it would have been even better if they made it a bit more crispy. Both my parents ordered the ranch potatoes as their side which was just okay. The potatoes were pretty bland and a little under cooked for our tastes. My parents prefer going here than ihop. The atmosphere and service here are much better.

This was not the best location. We love this restaurant in Las Vegas, so I don’t know what happened here. My theory was that these must be franchised, but I don’t know. We went for a very late breakfast. They didn’t have steak and eggs, which for some reason I was craving. I wound up ordering a steak and egg scramble of sorts, which wasn’t very good. My husband didn’t care much for his dish either. The staff was friendly though, so there is that.

I really like this breakfast/brunch location. The wait was not terribly long, but you’ll need to get your name to the hostess as soon as possible. I waited for 15 minutes for a party of 3, and I would say it wasn’t too bad. Unilocal offers a free coffee to diners that check in as well, so that’s a plus. As in the name, there are all combinations of eggs and I decided to try the Cordon Bleu Skillet. I would definitely recommend this to someone that likes meat, cheese and eggs. You could say it was egg-cellent. Will definitely be back to this restaurant again.

AMAZING! Let me tell you my taste buds are screaming for more but I’m sooo full. How did this happen… usually I’m such a Lil Piggy. Never full. Let me start off by saying something about our waitress Wendy. She was so humble and sweet and informative. She told us the favorites and explained to me what a egg benidict was. Her smile was so sweet and just made me feel at home with an old friend. By the way love her northern accent. Ok… now about the food!!! I had the Paritian Benidict, I asked if she could add chorizo and crispy bacon on top! Party in mouth. This was on a yummy buttery croissant. As I sliced into this gorgeous piece of art, the goey, oh so yummy gold yolk runneth over!!! Perfection! I could taste the chives and the hollandaise sauce. The spicy but to spicy chorizo and crunchy bacon. The ranch style potatoes were perfectly seasoned and cooked thourghly. My husband had the Spinich Mushroom Omelet with toast and potatoes. Yummy as well. Eggs were cooked beautifully! The smuckers orange marmalade spread on toast as I soaked up the liqueur gold on my plate. Yummy! We had the caramel coffee. Yummy. Ok key word here is YUMMY! Seems that the inside is having a little remodeling done. Kinda sloppy looking but over all nice ambiance and outside seating. See my pics! Enjoy. If you check in through Unilocal, cofee is free! Can’t beat that! Price for just the 2 of us was about 25 bucks. Not bad. Definitely would recommend this place.

We ordered the egg-ceptional omelette, huervos rancheros, perisian eggs benedict, and kids breakfast quesadilla. The food was all great. We all shared so if I had to pick the best I would say the eggs benedict followed by the omelette. The Ranch potato sides were great. I tried the hello sunshine and it was not my favorite. Our waitress Wendy was awesome. She asked me how I liked it and I was honest so she brought me a kale juice and it was great and refreshing. All the food was prepared buetifully and the wait staff was attentive and friendly. Wendy knows her stuff. The cost for the entire group with everyone getting drinks was 44.96. Average just over 11 per person. If you get a chance check this place out, you will not be disappointed.

When it requires a tankful of gas to drive to the gulf, ordering the Crab Cake Benedict wasn’t a wise choice. The dish appeared tasty but I discovered the crab cakes were dry. I needed the egg yolks to moisten them. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the service. When I unwrapped the napkin, I discovered a fork was missing. The English muffins didn’t arrive with the eggs. Because they didn’t arrive soon after, either my waitress forgot to return to the kitchen for them or the kitchen staff forgot to make them. I ordered the dark roast, but I wasn’t sure if I had actually gotten it or the regular coffee. The waitress didn’t specifically mention it was the dark roast when she poured the initial cup. The bill showed the price of the house blend. Due to the two other issues, I assumed my waitress had given me the regular coffee instead.

This is the 2nd time I have come and something strange was on or in my food. This time there was what looked like a piece of crayon on my bacon. To top it off my plate was dirty for the 3rd time. This is honestly my last time here.

Came down to Richardson for an appt and passed this location! I figured I’ll check it out, went into Unilocal to see their reviews and saw some pics, i since it was 11:00 a.m. and wasn’t sure if they no longer served breakfast and just lunch. Place is spacious and wasn’t packed so was seated immediately! When you check in you get a FREE cup of coffee, well who doesn’t like free right? sked what I wanted to drink so I showed the coupon. I was offered 3 flavors, House Blend, Hazelnut or Irish, wanted to try a new flavor so opted for Irish, I did ask what did this coffee compare to in taste but waitress wasn’t sure but did offer that if I didn’t like it she would gladly exchange for another coffee. Coffee was served and was asked if I liked the coffee, which I did! As I sat waiting for my food I noticed, a customer had a kale juice, going to try it next time for sure! Wendy was very attentive, and brought my food promptly! My omelette and potatoes were very delicious, my serving was generous, ate only half so took the remaining home and devoured the next morning lol! Will definitely plan to come back when I’m in the area!

A very big and open restaurant. I went on a Saturday morning and was quickly seated. I ordered the blueberry pancake and subbed the eggs for potatoes. Let me tell you, the pancake was probably twice the size of my face and it was graciously covered in blueberries. Also my potatoes were seasoned with home style ranch or something and it was delicious. Perfectly salty to my standard and I finished every last bite of the potatoes. I wasn’t able to finish the pancake but the compote that came with it was just as good. The staff was super nice and made sure we were okay and satisfied.

Very good breakfast. Had the eggs benedict and my son had the breakfast crossiant. We also had the kale and apple fresh squeezed juice and it was delicious! If you check in your coffee is free!!!

Another great meal at this establishment, always get my eggs almost perfect… well it was not without its little faux pas. The biscuits which are usually soft, airy and golden; were more like leftover microwaved SECONDS. BUTINALLFAIRNESS this does happen and they did make it right. The Manager was very sweet and overly accommodating, but I guess that is why I love this place, they try… which means the world to me. Our waitress was a very cute auburn hair lady with a sweeter voice than sugar. I hope I get back there soon… go hitter and enjoy a great breakfast.

Food was delicious! Only problem we had was that the Manager didn’t honor our Unilocal check in for our complementary coffee. I guess you just have to get a simple, plain, boring cup of coffee and hope that the manager takes it. Not sure why they didn’t and the manager didn’t come to explain it to us. Part of that is customer service!!! Lucky for them, our food was delicious(thanks to the chef) and our waiter was awesome(kudos to Russell). I guess we’ll have to ask for the manager first!

This is a very cozy cute place! I absolutely love watching families come and go in here. Such a positive vibe with delicious food. None of the food in the menu can go wrong. All their pancakes and waffles are my favorite. Since I go here mainly for breakfast, that’s what I get. I love egg and I! Everything taste so fresh too!

Woke up craving French toast and just wanted a simple brunch so I Unilocaled nearby places and came across The Egg and I. I got the Viva la France French Toast meal. My over easy eggs were cooked beautifully with the right amount of gooey goodness. The French toast was simple but fulfilled my craving. The eggs Benedict was good and the potatoes that came with it were really tasty and flavorful. The strawberry and banana waffle meal was also good. I want to come back to try the crab cake Benedict and the blueberry pancakes!

In Dallas attending my son’s wedding. Stayed at the Renaissance hotel in Richardson. Unilocaled and found this place. Walked over and waited about 10 minutes. When the food came it was well worth the wait. My wife had the veggie benedict and I the blueberry pancake. The Egg Benedict was the best we have tasted. The veggies were fresh and full of flavor which blends well with the eggs and the sauce. The pancake was huge and very nicely done and full of blueberry. Even better than the ones we have tried in Boston!

Our first time at this location. We loved the one in Addison. Same great corned beef hash here, along with wonderful service. This one is closer to home and we will certainly have it on our list of favorite places for breakfast!

I actually enjoyed my breakfast here. They have outdoor seating at the side of the restaurant which is nice to take advantage of if the weather is perfect in the mornings. But my breakfast here was good partly because I modified some things. My dilemma began when I wanted a croissant for my benedict instead of English muffin that was found with the Parisian benedict — but with the veggie toppings of the Veggie benedict. And here’s the strange part — to substitute a topping ingredient, there’s no up-charge, but to substitute English muffin for a croissant, there’s an up-charge. So I had to pick the Parisian benedict, and change the ham for spinach, which worked perfectly. But I thought this was silly since I was almost getting the same thing as a Veggie benedict with croissant. Anyways, my Veggie Parisian benedict was perfect — perfectly poached eggs, perfect croissant, perfect everything. And I subbed my potatoes for a fruits, and I was glad. There was nothing I could complain about. The service was also prompt, friendly and timely. I wouldn’t mind returning, especially for the benedicts.

I’m a fan of the Egg and I. We visited on a Saturday and there was minimal wait… i think about ten minutes at most. The wait staff were always available and frequently filled our coffee mugs. The food was good! Parking was a bit crowded. We’ll be back!

I really love this place! Used to go here all the time when I was attending UTD. Their food never disappoints. I usually get scrambled eggs or an omelet with bacon and ranch potatoes. I am in love with their ranch potatoes! So delicious. I recommend this place if you’re ever in the area. I’ve yet to try their lunch items.

This is a solid breakfast spot if you don’t want to fight the crowd at IHOP. The breakfast is really good. I’m a fan of the chicken apple sausage and their potatoes. The waffles are huge and you easily feed your sweet tooth with the offered toppings. Omelets are a decent size and some of the combos come with potatoes and an English muffin. For those making their trainers and bodies happy, they have some low calorie entrees as well. In my experience, if they have any doubt that they made an error on your order, they will kindly come out and confirm with you. If you get it to go, they always present your order to you and it’s piping hot. Haven’t tried lunch there yet but I plan to.

I have tried The Egg and I two times and had the same experience. We waited nearly 45 minutes for our food each time, and the service was no where to be seen during the wait. When we got the food it was alright. This is really sad because I was excited that a breakfast restaurant opened close. I’m will give it another shot in the future because one of my favorite servers in Richardson just got a second job there, I know I will get good service with him.

I really like this place. It’s not like any other breakfast place. It has more of an «English» feel to it. The staff is very welcoming, kind, and helpful. All of the food that my friends and I have ordered, have been great. They have a lot of great variety, it’s so hard to choose from their menu because I want to try everything! Their food tastes so close to homemade and their coffee is also quite tasty. I absolutely love breakfast food, and so far this is the best breakfast place I’ve been to. I just wish they opened later than 2, because then I’d definitely be a regular!
