We were lucky to arrive here when we did. You see we got there around 7:40pm on a weekend night and the hours listed said they close at 9pm. However, the place was completely empty and they were about to close but they saw us. We felt bad but we also needed to eat and had kids with us. We made sure to eat quickly and once we were done around 8:20pm, the male/female(unsure if they were married) team shut off the lights and locked up before we even got the kids in the car. Some things I liked: The self serve drinks and utensil station The easy to understand menu Some things I did not like: The order at the counter concept The drinks that are in the fridge for you to grab Overall, the food was okay, not as great as I would have thought based on the other reviews. Perhaps I caught the last batch of broth at the end of the day. Oh well.

Best Phở ever! Always fast and convenient microwavable bowls for people like me that take it to go!

Cannot stay away from this place when I am in the area. Wide noodles dishes and thai wings are excellent. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Best Phở in my opinion! The chicken is pulled not some smashed medallions floating in water. They also put huge chunks of carrots! The lettuce wraps are great. I always order the curry chicken phở… Love love love!

Vietnamese trying to be white for the neighborhood, I think. The noodles suffer. Phở Thai slumps on meat. Egg rolls left me wanting. But, I’ll be back for the rocking beef spring roll and the chicken dumplings. The Phở is high.

I just love their Phở and their Wonton soup! It is my «go to» when I need a break from bringing my lunch to work!

I thought I’d try this place. For phở it’s all about the broth and to me this taste more like a sugar broth too sweet had to add species but even that didn’t help… did not finish my bowl went to panera bread… I eat phở once a week… well back to my base in Lewisville… Phở One…

I ordered Bun cha gio(fried spring rolls vermicelli noodles) and it was ok. But for the first time I got 25% off so it is worth it.

I really wanted to like the crawfish here… but it’s probably the one of worst I have had. The sauce is thick and SWEET because they boiled the crawfish with oranges, I mean it’s a good idea but they can go a little easier on the oranges, because I don’t think crawfish boil should taste like orange chicken. They are generous on the pounds, little did I know they used frozen crawfish… I can barely pick apart the tail without it falling apart. Some of the brains were just straight BLACK and liquidy… some of them just looked/tasted foul. Maybe their phở is good, but I would definitely not coming back for the crawfish.

First time trying phở! Loved it!!! It smelled so good I couldn’t wait to get back to work to devour this deliciousness since I picked it up on a quick lunch run! I highly recommend this place! And super clean!

My new favorite: chicken lettuce wraps and the land and sea spring rolls. Flavorful! Wished they had more business. This location is good for lunchtime because of the businesses around the complex. Come for dinner. No wait; meal is made fresh! I’ve also tried the curry chicken phở and phở Crimson phở. Good stuff!

The food is delicious! The service is fast, but disinterested and unfriendly. I would come more often, but I’m tired of feeling like I’m imposing on their lives. :-( Example: I just asked for extra peanut sauce, she frowned, turned her back and said, «oh my god(then sighed)». The other server said bluntly… that will be $.45!

I ordered to go. My complete order was one chicken curry phở and an order of beef spring rolls. The Phở was disappointing as the chicken was dry and bland(tasted like it was boiled in water without seasoning). The vegetables that came were freshish(dry lime wedge) and not well proportioned(one jalapeño slice). The spring rolls were delicious and very fresh– the peanut sauce complements them perfectly. I’ll try this Phở Crimson again, but for now this place is pretty ordinary in my book.

This place is pretty authentic. I have tried the phở special. It was great, however I wish the noodles were cooked a little bit more than usual. I got a small and I was good with it. The broth was savory and just right. I came again with my boyfriend. He and I are a big fan of lettuce wraps. It was delicious! It’s a must order! I just wish we had a little bit more lettuce. I got the banh mi with pork and an egg. Let’s say I devoured it. It reminded me of my childhood. I loved it. I will be coming back. I rated 4 stars due to the prices, it’s a little pricey. The spring rolls are really expensive, so I was hesitant to try it due to the price. Maybe one day!

Came here for lunch on friday with some of my peeps. I wanted to try a pork bahn mi however they ran out of rolls the previous day so no go on any kind of bahn mi(sigh). So, since my first option was off the table, I decided to go with the lettuce wraps and a side of fried rice. The restaurant was fairly busy at the time we arrived. It turned out that our food took a while to come out. When my plate arrived it came with a side plate that contained a quarter chunk of an iceberg lettuce head. the wrap filling was tasty but the lettuce really took away from the flavor and didnt serve as an ideal mode of transportation for the filling. I think that if a butter lettuce was used it would be tastier and also wouldnt tear as easily. The fried rice turned out to be a hibachi styled fried rice that has a nice toasty flavor. Pricing was alright, it was nice that they offer a discount after checking on the Unilocal app. Service was decent. Oddly enough, music was a little odd though. for an asian fusion restaurant they were basically playing latino pop. top 40’s pop i can totally understand but latino pop seemed an odd choice(not a bad one though IMO). overall, it was a decent place to eat for lunch, pricing was alright and id definitely like to come back when they have bahn mi available to try out

After several visits, time to review! Phở Crimson joins a dearth of Phở places near this location; the interior is very clean and contemporary, complimenting the residential(and other commercial) locations it’s anchored to. Fan of the Crimson special, although on one occassion the phở broth was so salty I had to have them dilute. Other than that, otherrs have been very consistent pretty good. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff. Regarding pricing/portion, slightly higher than comparable Phở restaurants in area, but still reasonable.

Good Phở. The price is slightly high but worth it for the great location. The staff is always great and the good always tastes great. If you’re looking for a nice small Phở place in North Richardson this is a great choice!

This place is very«Americanized,» I mean don’t get me wrong, it is still pretty darn good. Honestly, I am having mixed feelings about this place, all I know for now before I try this place again and give it a true review, is that… The Crimson Special Fried Rice is bomb. Yes, I can get better priced fried rice somewhere else, but they give you three choices of meat and the way they make it is good. The service here is prepay at the register and they bring the food. The service is also very friendly and nice! So that’s a thumbs up! Another thumbs up is that it is so clean! Definitely will try it again and see how I feel about it, everything is just so in the middle for me. Not bad at all though! Next visit: tom yum phở… That sounds so interesting!

Absolutely amazing!!! Lord, help me… a new amazing Phở place that’s just a stairwell away… I might need an intervention. Just finished an excellent bowl of their Beef Brisket Phở and my wife just raved about their Chicken Fried Rice. Now, saying fried rice is amazing may not sound like much, but my wife tends to stay away from meat altogether, but she was blown away by how good the chicken was. My beef brisket phở was incredibly delicious, beef was tender, noodles were perfect, broth was fantastic. They have a nice outdoor patio, so when it gets warm enough(probably another two weeks, since this IS Texas), expect to see me devouring phở with my pug Roxy at my side. A new MUSTTRY in Richardson.

When you walk in, it’s a little more«Americanized» than the average Vietnamese restaurant. You order up front and they bring the food to you. It is a bit pricey but you’re paying for the location, ambience, and fresh food! Probably worth it if you’re trying to find something new. I ordered the egg noodle soup, which for me, is hard to find a place that isn’t too salty or over powering. I had sipped the soup to the bottom of the bowl, that’s how good it was :) We also ordered the wings which looked fancy and flavorful on the plate; while in reality, they were just fresh out the fryer and tasted like salt and pepper. Kind of bland so the plating was a bit deceptive. Lettuce wraps were good, pretty much a pei Wei look alike and taste alike. The lettuce could’ve been a little crunchier and not soggy but the chicken itself was savory. Dumplings were good. Not bad, nothing to rave about. It’s self serve so you refill your own drinks and etc — which in this case service was ok. The girl had a bit of a hard time taking our order but I’m assuming this is her first job, so I won’t be too hard on her. Food came out timely considering we had a table for 10. The restaurant has it’s first location in Dallas as well, so I really hope this takes off so we don’t have to drive as far to get my egg noodle soup!(With the wontons that were perfectly sized for me :). I also suggest getting a large instead of the small bowl)
