Unfortunately I’ve had to watch this wonderful restaurant go downhill. If anything I’m tired of going there and seeing that they are closed.

I can not recommend this place to anyone. The place was a little over run down and a spider crawled over the table as I was dining. Extremely quiet &awkward setting, no music, anything. I was excited to order calamari to hear they didn’t have any available at the moment. They also offer a free Cab with your meal via Unilocal coupon which the server was not happy to honor. The two stars are a given because my chicken Alfredo was an amazing dish. Perfect creamy sauce balanced with the amount of noodles. But I can not say id ever return or recommend this place to anyone.

Cannot really rate it. Met a friend there at 12:30 for lunch today and the doors were locked. The«open» sign was on. There is a sign that says«Now Open for Lunch and Dinner.» Looking in the window, a light was on in the back. Saw no people.

I really don’t get the hype. I was super excited after reading the reviews that this would be some awesome hole in the wall italian place we could go to when we don’t feel like trekking up to Lewisville for our favorite one, but… it was just mediocre at best. There was only one server for the whole restaurant, so nothing was quick, but he was very nice. The bread was tasty and so was the salad, but we were all underwhelmed by the entrees. I got ravioli and they were served in a super watery, greasy sauce. Fiancé got the chicken marsala. It wasn’t bad, but it certainly was nowhere near great. Roommate got tortollini and was also unimpressed with the meat sauce on hers: oddly sweet and runny. It certainly wasn’t bad food and we didn’t get sick or anything… but I doubt we’ll be back. Definitely a «meh» place.

This restaurant has the same owner as the restaurant next door, Holy Frijoles. Good food, pretty atmosphere. They will even bring you food from next door on request. Great service! Our big family has all of our family dinners here.

Awesome place with good quality food at great prices! Can’t go wrong with the crab cakes as am appetizer. I had the chicken marsala and the beau chicken/shrimp Alfredo, both were tasty and flavorful. I stay in the Richardson area and am a lover of Italian food. This place is better than Roman Cucina.

Delicious little gem in Richardson! It’s hard to see from the street, and is around back by Holy Frijoles. The bruschetta is always very tasty! I usually get the Gemelli di Raso, but tonight got the cheese tortellini with meat sauce… the portion was huge, and the food was great! The bread pudding is a tight competition with my grandma’s, so I usually get it each time as well. Buon apetito!

Seriously, I have no idea why this place wasn’t packed. I went with two Italian classics, the Tomato Bruschetta and the Chicken Parmesan. Both were absolutely delicious… Even the salad, which was served with homemade croutons. Whether you’re here visiting or you reside in the Dallas area, you NEED to check this place out! 5 stars fore sure!!!

Excellent, fresh food! Crab cakes were outstanding. Lasagna and tortellini cooked to perfection. Very reasonable prices.

Great little Italian spot. Homemade food, friendly owners and staff… had the lasagna and it was fantastic! Quiet place for an afternoon meal — great spot for a professional lunch.

My bf and I went here and ordered the ravioli and tortellini, which were delicious. The ravioli takes first place though: it was served with the right amount of filling and sauce made of garlic and white wine. I would even dip the bread if you have any ravioli sauce left over. The tortellini was good, but there was more sauce than meat, which puts it at second place. The free bread was served hot and crispy. Service was excellent and quick. Will definitely be going here again!

Great Italian food and great prices. Small out of the way restaurant. Great place for an intimate dinner. Not load like other places.

They sat us very quickly. That was the best part, unfortunately. It took about 25 minutes before our drinks arrived(a coke and a glass of water). Apparently because it’s Valentine’s day, there’s only one«special» menu. Our waiter never told us this, so we sat studying the real menu for half an hour(not by our choice). It took 20 – 25 minutes to refill my glass of water, and the coke has been sitting almost empty for the same amount of time. We’ve been here an hour now at this point, and the coke still isn’t refilled and our meal still hasn’t arrived. Our waiter is generally no where to be found. The place is only at about half occupancy and I can hear the table behind us gripping about the lack of service as well. After about 1 hour 15 minutes of waiting, our food finally arrived. I had chicken in mushroom sauce and she had the NY steak. They were mediocre at best. This entire experience was lackluster at best. I would definitely NOT recommend this place. It’s now coming up on two hours. We’re waiting on our dessert(to go) and the bill… It can’t come fast enough!

I love this place. The lasagna is huge, great wine. The crab cakes are wonderful, not to forget the chicken piccata. Prices are so reasonable, a hidden gem in Richardson.

You can tell that they do pour their hearts into this food. I cannot remember the manager’s name, but he is doing a great job at reviving this little italian food gem in the middle of Richardson.

Definitely a hidden gem. I suggested going here for lunch after reading the Unilocal reviews and looking at the pictures. It did not disappoint. After dining in I have picked up take out a couple of times. The food had been great and they are really nice. The chicken basil ravioli is a must try! It’s mouth watering. I can’t stop getting it along with the garlic bread. When we dined in we also tried the crab cake and it was pretty good. FYI — the older, not so good reviews are prior to a new guy taking over the restaurant in 2014.

This is a bit of a hole in the wall place l found on Unilocal.Maybe it was a bad night but the food was very slow getting out. The manager apologized to the table next to us about it but didn’t seem to care about us. The waiter was very good and attentive. The food was not overly impressive. Something was going on in the kitchen as there was lots of noise and what sounded like a very unhappy cook. I sadly don’t think I will be going back.

I found this place on Unilocal and didn’t realize it had been there for years. We pulled up on a Saturday night into the rundown creepy shopping center and it was dead. We almost got back into our car and went somewhere else but it was late so we stayed. And it was worth it – the food was good, service was friendly, and very affordable. I’m not sure how they stay in business with such a bad location, but I guess the rent is cheap and they have some regulars.
