If you’re expecting an authentic bite of Mexico wrapped in a flour or corn tortilla you will be disappointed, but if you’re looking for an affordable semi fresh decently delicious taco you will be extremely satisfied! You’re not paying a ton, so you should keep that in mind before judging the quality. The tacos are tasty, and the veggies are a little limp, but overall good experience. I always leave this place thinking«why don’t I go here more often».

I’ll say this– it’s better than Taco Bell or Taco Bueno. I had the corn tortilla tacos with beef, which were good. A great hangout for UTD students due to its proximity to campus.

Had dinner here last night and my boyfriend and I both woke up with food poisoning… We have been extremely sick all day, and had to miss a day of work. We each had a spicy pork taco and tempura shrimp taco, and shared chips and queso. We used to eat Fuzzy’s on a regular basis, but this was our first time at this location. We will not be returning customers… Probably to any Fuzzy’s. We are very, very sick today.

Used to come here all the time. Today the location in Richardson did not open as they advertise at 7:00. Lazy employees?? left and ate elsewhere. Also, I have noticed smaller portions of food — Migas. Not coming back for a while.

Some fuzzys are better then others and this one is mediocre. On our recent visit at 2 o’clock on a Saturday there was a line and only one person taking orders and filling drinks, so the wait was long. It took awhile to get the queso and the rest of food took too long too. The queso was more bland then normal, it needs some heat. I don’t understand why they don’t spread the seasoning on the chips more easily. The shredded brisket salad was good, filling and the beef was tender and well seasoned. My husband enjoyed his tempura shrimp tacos and mango frozen drink.
The food is generally good with good variety. However the service and lack of consistency keeps it from being consistent on our list of places to go.

Best breakfast tacos. Full of flavor and big. Beef, chicken, fish tacos all dusted with feta cheese which gives them a unique flavor. Service was good and people were vey friendly.

Just ok. They will forget something if you order take out, they have done it every time we order. Check your order before you leave. Nachos are weird. egg Burritos are they best thing we have found here. It’s close to us, I wish it was better food, better service.

Pretty dang good! Service was superb, very friendly and helpful folks. I ordered a mexican plate with a cheese enchilada, beef soft taco, cilantro rice, and latin fried potatoes, as well as chips and salsa I shared with my wife. The chips were good, had some spicy seasoning on them, a little overloaded on a couple of the top chips. Salsa was great with a smokey, fresh taste. Enchilada was excellent, cheese wasn’t too stringy or hard, just right. Fried potatoes were seasoned well, no complaints. One big plus that pushed it to a 5 for me was that when our food was ready, they caught that they had put tomato on our tacos when we asked for none, and instead of taking the tomato off they made us new tacos. The catch and fast service were great. Definitely would return.

Unfortunately, I do not understand the hype. Low quality food show be at a low price. Dinner for 2 was well over $ 30 but at a Taco Bell quality. Multiple dishes were simply cold. And after being microwaved tasted not only cheap but unappetizing. Maybe if I took part in high alcoholic consumption this food would be edible. Will not be returning.

I’ve been a big fan of Fuzzy’s ever since their first location opened in Plano several years ago. This morning I was in Richardson and dropped by this location on West Campbell. As I walked in the restaurant, I passed three young men who had finished their breakfasts. I asked them about the quality of the food. They were very enthusiastic in their response. One told me «I had the Chilaquiles. They were excellent!» Having never had Chilaquiles, I decided that I had to have some as well. I ordered the Chicken Chilaquiles. They came with two sides — refried beans and fried diced potatoes. I was very pleased with the meal I had ordered. The eggs were well cooked and mixed with just the right amount of shredded chicken, shredded cheddar, and tortilla chips. It was delicious. The atmosphere was very refreshing. Located near the UTD campus, the clientele included a number of college students fueling up for their day or trying to forget last night. I recommend this location for breakfast on a Saturday morning!

This is the third and last time I go to Fuzzy’s. I had high hopes of a good Mexican-ish place nearer my house but after three attempts, I’ve given up. The service all three times I’ve visited was poor, slow and each time contained mistakes. To compound the problem, the food is at best mediocre. There is better available out there and unless you want your order taken sloppily, delivered slowly & usually wrong and to have the food sit like concrete, find some other place to eat.

Got a burrito and it was nasty There didn’t seem to be a lot of meat And there special beer beans was so overpowering. Heard the breakfast tacos were good but I’m never going back. It is a cheap place for students to go to if they are looking for a meal

New management means I’m going to come about 20% as often as I did before. If I were to grab a picket sign and protest anything in the world right now… well, it wouldn’t be this, but still, BRINGBACKTACOTUESDAY! Or at least stop raising the prices, man. I also desperately miss the $ 1 small marg on the rocks happy hour special, which has been replaced by a big frozen one for $ 5 daily and various specials on liquor. Is Fuzzy’s trying to be a bar now?! The potatoes were greasy and the refried beans tasted canned. The breakfast taco had burnt bacon but was otherwise solid. In other words, business as usual but at a less friendly price and with worse décor.

Food quality and quantity have remained pretty good over the years, but recently the prices and atmosphere have gone way down. There are new owners that have jacked up the prices and canceled discounts such as Taco Tuesday and now the UTD discount. My salad that used to cost $ 5 now costs over $ 7.

Friendly as soon as you walk in big smiles! Very clean and quick service with food! Hot and fresh so good! Large patio with tv’s and fans! Someone walking around asking how is your meal! Attentive to your needs!

I prefer this location over the one closer to home. It is much smaller and can sometimes be a bit disastrous near the beverage counter. That aside, I have recently found myself drawn to this location after a happy hour with my fellow co-workers. The fish & shrimp tacos along with the $ 2 margarita have definitely made an impression on me.

Decided to try it for lunch since it was nearby. Should have read the reviews first. I looked at the menu online, so I knew what I wanted. The pictures looked promising. Silly me… The guy at the counter who took my order was a grumpy ‘lil fella. I asked if they have salsa(I wanted some for my taco). He yells back, «What?!» I say«salsa» again. He snaps, «Yes, it’s on the table!» So I tell him, «I don’t know, it’s my first time here!» When I get to the table to wait for my order, I don’t find salsa, but a bottle of some red sauce. Just great. Oh, by the way, the table was nasty with crumbs. Ordered the drunken pig(soup) and two crispy special ground beef tacos. When I got back to the office and took the lid off the soup, I couldn’t figure out what it was. Very unappetizing. I had to swish around to find some beans. Seemed more like a massive hunk of mystery meat instead. I spooned some up on the tortilla chips, and it was beyond too salty. This was WITHOUT me even eating/sipping the broth it was floating in. The tacos were bland, but had lots of cilantro. I got them without feta cheese(who eats feta on a taco, not me). Surely, I can find better tacos and decent service elsewhere on my lunch break.
