Reston Shoe & Luggage Repair

These guys did a fantastic job re-​soling my ten year old dress shoes. When I brought them in they were literally about to fall apart. For $ 32 bucks I got back a near brand-​new set of shoes and they even polished them up for me. The only reason that I am not giving them five stars is that they were a couple of days late on getting them completed.

I dropped off 4 pairs of shoes for heel repair/​replacements and was told they’d be ready later that week. I showed up 2 days after my promised pick-​up time and they still hadn’t been fixed! After waiting for them to finish (another 30 minutes), there was no apology and I was still charged close to $ 100 for 4 pairs. A week later, i was wearing one pair, and within 5 minutes, the new heel fell off! again, no apologies, just a smile and a promise to fix it when I returned. Awful customer service, terrible work…

I dropped my luggage off for repair and I specifically told the person at the front desk that if the person fixing my luggage couldn’t fix it, to give me a call back. That way I could either take it elsewhere, or just buy a new suitcase I dropped my luggage off on a Monday. I hadn’t received a call back after leaving it, so I assumed they were able to fix it. Especially because I asked that they call me if they couldn’t. 4 days later they hadn’t called, so I called and they said it was ready. I went to pick it up, only to find out they were not able to fix it. The least they could’ve done was called, especially since I even asked that they would upon originally dropping it off.
I’m highly disappointed, especially since I drove out of my way just to take my luggage there. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
