Holy moly. I grew up in San Diego surrounded by amazing Mexican food. Ever since I moved to WA I have been severely disappointed many times. I will not have to be disappointed again, for I have found Southern California Mexican food in Renton.

The tacos were flavorful, authentic and inexpensive. I’d like to go back and try something new. It was busy. It’s on the main drag in the highlands.

The salsa and tacos are amazing. The corn app is to die for. This is a must place for happy hour. Great Seattle feel right I. The middle of the beautiful crazy mess that is Capitol Hill. Great atmosphere with fire pits in the tables in the bar. The staff is fun and full of spunk. Can’t go wrong

I have got to say, I work at Thai on Hilands and my parents own it(it’s right next to the food truck) so I go there a lot and it’s literally across the street. I have never been to this place in the 15 years I’ve lived here(it’s been there for a very long time). And I do regret it. My cousin recently bought a taco for me to try when he was visiting the restaurant and I was HOOKED. I got the tacos with chicken, which is I guess, fairly common. But it was the first time I’ve tried Mexican cuisine so it was pretty surprising to me. The onions were the most flavorful I have ever tasted and the chicken was so delicious! They forgot the sauce one time but I don’t really care, STILLGOOD: D. The people working there were so nice and friendly. I look forward trying new dishes here and hogging all the tacos! Also, my brother got hooked to with all the quesadillas

The world always seems just a little bit better with Tacos in it. And these are some of the best I’ve had, even after living in SoCal for 5 years. The prices are fantastic, the flavors are perfect, and the owners are very nice and friendly. The burritos are also amazing and they’re only $ 5!

Between downtown Renton and the Renton Highlands, we are blessed with more than a couple really good«mom and pop» type Mexican eateries. My «go-to» would probably be «Tagueria Los Potrillos #3». I reside in the«Highlands» and it’s just so convenient to stop by this truck on the way home from work when I don’t feel like cooking or whenever I get a sudden craving for«Mexican». Their prices are pretty reasonable with all dishes pretty much going between $ 5 – 10. I always seem to be «filled» regardless of what I may have ordered. My favorite dishes are the«pork carnitas» and«taco plate»(two or three tacos with rice and beans). This truck is located at the edge of a gas station and parking can be kinda tricky depending on how many people happen to drive up. If/when you visit be sure to pick up one of their little menus and call in your order. Will save you some«stand around» time though their waits aren’t that bad, depending on how many folks are ahead of you.

I used to live in Renton. Now I live in San Diego. I eat a lot of really good tacos, because of my close proximity to Mexico. However, every time I visit the fam back in Renton, I make it a point to eat at this taco truck at least once. Renton Highlands is lucky to have this truck. Eat more tacos.

By far my favorite taco truck in the highlands! Great price for 4 tacos that fills you up. Prices range from 5 – 9 $ so it’s easily affordable. My favorites are the chicken tacos, and the ranchero. Plus the gas station next to it has some good drinks.

Delicious tacos for a reasonable price. I come from San Diego and have a pretty decent bar for Mexican food. For a late night run it’s an awesome food truck to check out. Delicious hot carrots and hot sauce as well.

Excellent tacos, wide variety of menu items for a taco truck, and prices range from $ 5-$ 8! Staff were very friendly, outdoor seating available in a small area.

I was on my way to Viet Wah but then I saw this taco truck. I was hungry so I decide to try it out. I had the carne asada, pollo asado and el pastor tacos. They were all pretty good. Most trucks don’t have pollo asado, just braised chicken, so this was a nice surprise. It has a mini salsa bar too. Pretty decent taco truck!

Two AMAZING pork tacos, one with guac for $ 2.57! The meat was super tender and flavorful, perfect amount of juiciness. It was really easy to eat and had the perfect dollop of really flavorful guac. The hot sauce was a little thicker and spicier than other places I’ve tried. It had an amazing flavor, and the perfect amount of toppings. There were two tables, both of which were undercover. I will be going back to this taco spot, I thought i t was better than Tacos El Asadero and Rancho Bravo Tacos. by far!

This is my new Rancho Bravo. They serve a wide variety of foods and they’re not dumbed down for whitey palates. They take every credit card, even Japan Credit Bureau, and have a spicy and flavor infused taste that you don’t need to dump a bunch of lame hotsauce on. On my first occasion to this place, I received a lengua burrito that reminded me that I haven’t had a good burrito in a very long time. It was a lovely mix of flavors and was accompanied by some radish relish and picante. All delightful. You just have to brave the douches of the hill to get some, but most of them are likely lining up for Dick’s burgers or some POS hotdog stand, so your hardship will be minimal. While food carts likely shouldn’t be classified in the same way that real venues are, as the hotdog place outside of Neighbors was one of the top ranked fine dining venues on Unilocal for years, this is my review such as it is.

Legit tacos, and open 10 – 10 every day. Great al pastor, carnitas, and horchata. They even have tripe tacos which are pretty hard to find around here.

This Taco Truck is parked in the lot next to the Gilda Radner House on Broadway. It’s everything a taco truck should be. They have what you would expect from a taco truck with the selection of meats and various options for plates(tacos, burritos, quesadillas, enchiladas, etc.) I had the sopitos. The moist and delicious corn fritters were slathered with beans, meat, pico de gallo, and cabbage. It was delicious. And CHEAP, most items are around the $ 5.00 mark and the amount of food is generous. I would choose this taco truck over other brick and mortar taco & burrito places nearby.
