Came in with my mom to return a product we were overcharged for and was absolutely appalled by the hostility and rudeness of the clerk. Without even looking at the receipt, she began angrily arguing about how«great» of a deal it was and that«no other customers have had issues with it” – while ignoring the fact the we had been overcharged on a product that also happened to be expired at the time of purchase. She was extremely disrespectful, unprofessional, and even went as far to call my mom«cheap» before finally refunding our money. This is not the first negative experience my mom has had with the staff here who have consistently been bad-mannered and derogatory.

Great Honey Cake. Also, the woman that helped me was perfectly friendly. She wasn’t chatty but, English did not seem to be her first language so I don’t expect her to entertain me with stories or anything. She made the cake I bought and It is so good!

Great products, but the service is at best«unfriendly». I don’t get it, you are in America now, don’t need to be nasty to your costumers here, they just don’t came back because there are other choices. Hope you take this negativity and change who you decide to put at the counter. Make the nasty ones work in the back away from your costumers.

How the hell can there not be a review of this place? This place is fantastic! So, there are plenty of reviews of the DK Market, but to be honest, that market is just a Ranch 99 with an Indian slant. The real gems here are Spice King(the little Indian restaurant) and of course, Euro Slice Deli. The counter is manned by a terse Eastern European woman whose unfriendliness just makes the whole experience that much more authentic. They have all sorts of imported pastries, meats, and cheeses but the real exciting stuff are the desserts and meats that they make in-house, particularly the sausages. Dinner last Monday revolved around a pair of horse-sized polish sausages that were slipped into a Hoppin’ John which resulted in rave reviews from the family. I mean it when I say this — forget your overpriced/overrated organic artisan butcher shops that insist on trying to sell you stew meat scraps at $ 12/lb. I implore that you don’t walk, but RUN here and pick up a tube of meat or a pair of smoked fishies. You will not be disappointed.
