Before you read my review. Understand where I am coming from. I HATE ticket games. So basically half the floor is dead to me. But the other half is pretty cool. Unilocal says I have been 2 times and I know it’s been more, I just keep forgetting to check in. Anyway. We like to play like the deaf dumb and blind kid. Of course we ain’t Tommy, heck the best we can do is get Kiss to play Lick It Up on the Kiss Pinball game. The games here are pretty good. Not too far off balance and not a total quarter suck. Well except for the ACDC game. I don’t think I have ever seen a hole between two flippers that big. Played it once… never ever gain. A couple of great classic arcade games. They seem to keep them well tended. But I don’t play them enough to know just how often they are down or broken. Played the new Star Wars game. $ 2.50 probably would be better spent on a ton of crappy ticket games. I had so much hope, only to be dashed by really bad mechanics in the game. But the KINGKONGMAMMAJAMMABESTFREAKINGMONEYSPENT! Is on the insanely wild 4 player Pac Man air hockey. Sure the game is a bit short. But it’s crazy satisfying fun. And hey, it’s not MY fault you let your hand get hit! Anyway. Game card system seems to work very well. Very little issues at all. As a classic arcade addict from days gone by. This one is pretty good.

You had me at Gauntlet, Game Lab… you had me at Gauntlet. I mean really, look at my Unilocal tagline. But also: Ms. Pacman AND Pacman, Frogger, Space Invaders, Double Dragon, Donkey Kong, Burger Time, Galaga, Track & Field, Joust, Centipede… It’s pretty much Heaven.(EXCEPT for the GLARING lack of Tron. Please get on that ASAP, Peppermill.) The last time we were here I was KILLINGIT at Ms. Pacman, gathering a crowd of little kids who were super impressed with my ‘80s awesomeness: «I didn’t even know this level EXISTED!» … «She’s better than my BROTHER!» And I was like, «OMIGAWD! You guys! You’re TOTALLY embarrassing me!» Then my Kid wanted me to teach her Frogger, and it took quite a few quarters to get her around the learning curve, but it wasn’t a big deal SINCETHEYSTILLCOST A QUARTER(totally rad!). When I was her age, nothing made me happier than my dad giving me a fat roll of quarters and sending me into the arcade. Now I can do the same for my kid, but, y’know, with a card. Oh, and there are some other games in that room, too… but who cares? They cost a lot of money to spit out tickets so that kids can earn junk. RETROROW4EVA!

Fun little place inside the peppermill casino! Apparently there was a Unilocal Elite even here according to a previous reviewer, very cool! Load your game card with $ 10 – 20 and have fun for a couple hours playing some games. It had been years since I stepped into and played inside an arcade like this. Felt great to do something different like this. I only spent $ 10 and had a lot of fun burning those credits to play. The ticket games are ridiculous with the amount you get in return, but you do it for the thrill of the play. They have this crazy star wars simulator game that I tried out which was $ 2.25 just to play one round. They have ultra old classic arcade cames as well for $ 0.25 like paperboy or pacman. Lot of kids playing but if you’re with a group of friends it doesn’t really matter. For cheap thrills in Reno you can come here. :-)

I had so much fun here. Played games, won a lot of toys and took plenty of photobooth pictures.

I was fortunate enough to attend a fantastic Unilocal!event at Game Lab recently and was BLOWNAWAY by the sheer magnitude of games available, especially the quintessential games I grew up playing! There is an entire wall of «all originals» including QBert, Paperboy, BurgerTime, Frogger, and of course the classics from Space Invaders to PacMan to Asteroids, Galaga, Track & Field, and more! Of course, they have all the latest and greatest fully interactive machines and even a full size Candy Crush! There are plenty of skill games, too, where you can win and collect tickets to exchange for a ton of fun prizes. This isn’t just for kids, either. The event I attended was for adults, and this is a terrific venue for organizations to hold special events, teambuilding meetings, parties, etc. The Peppermill is the best for food and beverage and they will happily provide either or both for your event.

This is a great arcade but I’ve noticed the prizes go down in years. They have games for everyone. Some games allow you to earn tickets and others you play for no tickets. The day I went(Monday) they had people working on the machines but that usually isn’t the case Saturday when I usually go.

Great place for kids and adult to spend time together. They have many games for all ages group. They are no smoking zone, so you all can enjoy. They are also have many great prizes for you to tread your game ticket in. They also have a party room if you planing a party for kids. The place is clean and the staffs are wonderful. I’m recommend this place.
