We came here two nights in a row after a full day of snowboarding at Squaw. All I can say is the food hits the spot, especially in that cold Reno weather! 5 Stars for: –The food: The Double Burger, Fat Philly, and the Patty Melt were so good! For under $ 7, you get the sandwhich, fries, and unlimited soda. For piggies like us, it’s a good steal. –The service: We were helped both nights by Sean, who was a really nice guy who just started a couple of weeks prior. Service was excellent and it was even nice to chat with him two nights in a row. –The locals who love this place: A lot of nice people who live locally come by here and make small talk as well. Reno has very friendly locals. –Being open 24 hours: If you get that rumblin’ in your tummy, you can come here any time! We come to Reno for a week every year, and will be back again next year. This time we’ll try the Egg McNeva and Ham & Cheese melt.

The best place to eat when you’re on the strip in Reno and do not feel like that restaurant dining experience. A simple grease spoon in Cal-Neva casino, there’s a wonderful selection of standard fare food items from the grill/fryer. The food is out in no time, hot off the grill. You can denitiely satisfy your hunger pangs at this little eatery and wash it down with a $ 1 Bud or Bud Lites as well. The grill is located in a spot in the casino where you can watch all the people go by taking care of their casino business too. It really doesn’t get much better than this.

It takes a bunch of friends that never really go to Reno for me to find something new in this city. It’s always best to experience life, losing yourself, and debauchery with a good reliable group. A group that’s willing to stuff their alcohol filled stomachs with greasy not-so-good for you goodness. Yeah, the food here is a cardiac arrest waiting to happen, but you’re in a city that’s built on gambling… live a little. You won’t die on the spot from the menu choices on this small eatery. Would it help if I mention that they’ve got some cheap specials(like less than $ 5 cheap, with steak). I’ll roll the dice, yo! Not for the food… it ain’t all that… but for my man cooking the meal. I don’t remember his name but that guy working the grill is «old school» cool. If he’s there, I guarantee I’ll be there at 3am in the morning, drunk off my mind, whenever I visit Reno. Thanks for the meal old man, my friends and I enjoyed your company!

YUM. I come down to eat here every night I’m at work. I get the grilled cheese, add tomatoes please. I mean, yea that’s pretty simple and easy. I also branched out one night when I was feeling adventurous and got a hot dog split in two with cheese in the middle. yum. It seems the later it gets, the more people are there since most likely they are drunker and want to eat. I see a lot of people ordering cheeseburgers and philly’s. They seem to be delighted. I would try a cheeseburger, but I don’t want to stuff myself!
