Culver’s

I was told this was the second location ever for Culvers. They rebuilt the restaurant about a year ago and the new place is beautiful. I love their burgers and custard, but the fried cheese curds are my favorite.

I’ve been coming to this Culver’s/Butter Burger location since I can remember. What an awesome place. Always the friendliest service, consistently tasty food, and super clean. The family who started Culver’s in 1984 is originally from the Baraboo area so I wouldn’t be surprised if this Reedsburg restaurant is one of the first locations.
If you’ve never been to a Culver’s it’s a treat on many levels. First of all the food is delicious — anything you order. After you place your order you get a number and take it to your table, then a few minutes later a nice server comes and delivers the food to you. So it’s fastish food, but definitely feels more home cooked than McDonalds or Burger King.
It’s a close race with In and Out Burger for my favorite fast food place of all time but the desserts take it over the edge. You have to try their famous concrete shakes, and ice-​cream flavor of the day. Last time I was there I got to have peppermint oreo with hot fudge — amazing! Mmmm. chicken finger basket — crinkle french fries. oh God when can I go back?!
