The owner is the best! The staff is very friendly and professional. This is one of best smog shops in the area. The services they offer are just great. I bought my car in for them to smog test and they did a perfect job. I would recommend them as well cause they are affordable and will work with you!

Business recently got new ownership and the current owner has made some much needed improvements. Great ambiance and friendly professional staff. I had a great experience and I’d recommend this shop over any other smog shop in the area! Thanks Union Smog!

I would not recommend this business to anyone. It be nice if a technician would go through the procedure of how the smog check system works before you start the smog check.
It all started about a week ago when I took in my work truck to get smogged here, since I had just bought the truck, and didn’t see a check engine light on I figured it pass. A minute into the test I asked Mr. Kim what would happen if the test were to fail, he said «I charge the full price only once, none of that half charge bs here.»
Long story short, a week later I go in after driving the truck around for the onboard computer to re-​establish itself, I go in thinking having paid the full amount already, smog check passed and getting charged an additional $ 30 fee to «send the certificate to the dmv.»
Just seemed weird since I had just done another smog check paying $ 40 not passing and then $ 10 test it again and pass.
