Came in to eat after every restaurant was closed for the holidays, service was great, we were able to stay for a while with some friends, it was packed with people. We spoke with a sophomore student that lives in Santa Clara and drives to redwood city to work. He told us his sister in law used to own this jack in the box. He was busy cleaning and making sure everything was clean. Didn’t catch his name but if he reads this review hell know I’m talking about him. Great job

I would give 0 stars if I could, the guy at the drive thru made us wait over 5 mins before taking our order, on top of that he did not pay attention or listen to our order because our order on the screen was wrong and he read it back to us wrong to confirm it was wrong as well.

My only reason for stopping at JITB is for an occasional egg roll(they make a great one!), but today I was craving a triple-thick shake and pulled in for a tasty one. What stands out, other than egg roles and shakes, is the GREAT service I receive when I stop by. It’s not very often, but the trip is memorable since the people working there are so nice.

J in the B is a pretty decent burger place. I mean, it is fast food, and it isn’t In-N-Out, but it’s not Mickey D’s either. It’s kind of in between, catching the same market share runoff as Carl’s Jr. J in the B has fun commercials, though, and that counts for a lot with me. Marketing, what do you want? This isn’t a bad Jack in the Box, as far as they come. Problem is, it is a drive-thru location, so the interior of this store is super tiny. Like, it gets uncomfortable at lunch time because if there’s more than 10 people there’s no place to sit. So be forewarned. Use the drive through or plan on taking your food to go. The staff is always really nice, and most(if not all) seem to speak Spanish. Demographics, go figure. Clean facilities, too.

I should probably start by admitting that I’m a pretty big fan of Jack-in-the-Box… some of my best memories at this particular location include: — Jack-in-the-Box drive thru runs for dinner with my mom after my gymnastics practices in middle school — stopping here with friends for snacks after prom However, the most ridiculous and where they lose a star is when my friend craved white rice with soy sauce. She ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl here without the chicken, veggies, or teriyaki sauce… and then… they charged her the full price of the regularly-priced bowl with chicken and all. We’re talking about a $ 5 bowl of white rice!
