Great place very clean just the mexican lady at the counter sucks!!! No customer service no thank you no nothing. I have been there a couple times because i like the place but her attitude is terrible…
Loosing a customer here!!!

Took a suit to get altered and the woman said no problem and quoted me $ 130 to do the job… got a call 3 days later from them saying the lady quit to go work in san jose so they have to outsource my suit and it would now cost me $ 250+ for it and they argued with me when I said I was quoted $ 130 and I’m not paying the additional cost because she quit… that is not the customers fault to pay the difference or something happening within the business so they just kept saying that’s the new price and no one will touch it for less… I went back to pick up my suit and took my business elsewhere… long story short this place is horrible at customer service and working with anyone. .GO TO MAGIC ALTERATIONS down the way on el camino across from safeway for better and reasonable service… I paid way way less then the stupid $ 250+ Broadway Cleaners wanted.

Wanted to update my prior five star review because I can see a few less than stellar reviews due to wrinkles and other dry cleaning slip ups. So here’s my experience: I had several items in one particular order come back dingy and wrinkled. First time I can recall such an instance in at least a five year business relationship. I told them. They personally redid my items. They brought them to my home. Please consider trying this excellent dry cleaner again! Would personally give a higher rating if I could.

This cleaners is awesome. The staff all wear a «uniform» which I thought was very professional. The seamstress fixed a hole that my pet pig made in one of my daughters favorite sweaters. I thought I would have to throw it away but it was fixed nicely.
I loved that they were actually happy to see me when I walked in, not like other cleaners where I am just another person…
I was new to the cleaner so gave them my info. Today in the mail I got a HAND WRITTEN note and coupon for my next visit. LOVE THAT personal touch! Totally will go back to see them.

My tops came out dirtier than when they came in.
I left a t-​shirt and a denim jacket to get washed, I had to wait a week before getting them back and when I got home I noticed black stains all over them.
Save yourself the hassle and money and go somewhere where they actually clean your clothes!
Broadway Cleaners, you couldn’t tell shite from a skid-​mark!

I had my wedding dress cleaned and hemmed here. I had explained to them i wanted the outermost layer cut to the same length as the skirt but they cut it much shorter. I used them between my two weddings and the first tailor I used for the original wedding in Chicago was much more attentive to detail but also more expensive– lesson learned I guess.

However, about one out of every five men’s shirts I had to return to have re-​pressed because of wrinkles or a crease down button strip on the front of the shirt. For the premium price charged here zero should require a return.

I’ve been using Broadway for nearly 2-​years with happy results. Over all going here hurts my pocket but that’s dry cleaning. And when I’m forced to use dry cleaning, I want to feel confident that the garment will be returned to me in perfect condition and is not cleaned with environmentally harsh chemicals.
On one occasion I took in a highly soiled (lots of red mold) antique doll’s dress. I didn’t tell them it was anything special for fear they wouldn’t accept it. They just thought it was an old little girl’s dress but did warn me that the mold would probably not come out, but it might get lighter with cleaning. I knew that whatever the results, they would do a better job than I could by hand-​washing the delicate garment. I was shocked and speechless when I picked-​up the dress as it was nearly perfect! Even the delicate areas were not further harmed in their diligent attempt to make me, and ultimately my niece, very happy. The family heirloom lives on in her original clothing. (See doll photo.)

Great service and Fanny does excellent work. I brought her some fabric and a picture and she sewed me a beautiful dress. It came out better than I could have imagined.

The people who work the counter are fantastic. We got a handwritten note card with a free offer shortly after our first order. They offered my dog treats when he was with me. They exemplify the kind of courteous service that makes you want to be a loyal customer.
Unfortunately, the people pressing the shirts regularly destroyed our buttons. The buttons at the collar and on the sleeves of dress shirts were frequently cracked, mis-​shapen, and in need of replacement. It affected almost every shirt they handled.
We will not be back.

We had Broadway clean for us for more than a year. They had two challenges but the one now lost us as a customer. They ruined two polo shirts of my husbands. The color was ruined by a bad cleaning. We went to them to talk about it and they denied it was their issue. Instead of saying we will take care of it, and refunding our money for the shirts they denied any problem being theirs. They said it was my husband’s sweat that changed the color when it was cleaned. They also have been ruining buttons on my son’s collared shirts and when we asked them to replace them they did some but not all. So they have now lost a great monthly customer who will be taking their business elsewhere.

One of our blinds needed restringing and since we purchased them twelve years ago from a small vendor, I knew I had a problem when my calls weren’t being returned. I was at a loss as to what to do next since I called several blind companies and was told that if I did not purchase from them, they could not help. Was I to buy new blinds for such a simple fix? Apart from a frayed string, they were in perfect condition.
I continued with my internet research and stumbled across Broadway Cleaners. This dry cleaning service located in Redwood City offers a variety of specialized services and restringing blinds is one of them. Who would have known?
Pedro told me that it would cost $ 85 for a service call, i.e. to have him come out to our home, take the blinds down, restring and return them. We could easily save this fee if we brought them into the shop ourselves. So, I arranged a time to call Pedro where he would step my husband and I through the process. Despite his help, we could not release the bracket (ours opened outwards and not downwards as it turned out). Luckily we lived close and being a really nice guy Pedro jumped into his car and took them down for us and waived the service fee. All I had to do was pick them up, and having seen how the bracket worked putting them up again was not a problem.
Pedro is knowledgeable, professional and efficient. For example, he called me the next day to tell me we could continue with restringing as planned, but that we should rather have them sent back to the manufacturer and have some plastic parts replaced so that further damage to the new strings could be avoided.
I would highly recommend Broadway Cleaners! All in all, the process was inexpensive and painless. The hardest part was the internet research to find them.

Broadway Cleaners also has a Window Treatment Service which I discovered because the internet suggested that Graeber company blinds are very well made and durable. They are a bit hard to find but Broadway Window Treatment carries them and has samples there at the dry cleaners.
Start to finish, everything went well. I am delighted with the product that I chose and also with the entire process from ordering to installation. Pedro is professional, careful, efficient and easy to work with. I couldn’t be happier and will definitely use them again when the need arises.

Used their service to clean my drapery. They are very professional and are experts in drapery cleaning. Don’t hesitate to use them!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER and DISHONEST !!
I was there on Saturday and was apalled at how I was treated by the Owner– Marti.
I was given a ticket for both items that stated I owed $ 15 dollars at the time of pick-​up. I was very specific when I drop my stuff off that the amount indicated was the amount I would be charged. Once I got there they said my total was $ 21 and the ticket was changed. I showed them my ticket and said that was not that amount I was told. She (the owner) said that they decided that the alterations took more work and that it would cost more. I said that I should have been notified before the job was completed. I had also brought in some other stuff to be altered. The owner– Marti garbbed my sweater and throw it at me and said pay me $ 15 and get your sweater out of here– I don’t want your business. I was in pure shock, I never been treated like that. It’s not the $ 6 difference– it’s the principle.
I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM BROADWAY CLEANERS IN REDWOOD CITY!!!

Excellent results but pricey. It is a good value when you consider the exceptional care they use in cleaning your clothes.

If dry cleaners were colleges, Broadway Cleaners would be Stanford. They are polished, they do an excellent job, and you PAY FOR IT. We take our extra important (or difficult) stuff here. Because sometimes you want to make absolutely sure it will be done right.
But sometimes Berkeley will do just fine, which is why we take the reminder of our clothes to Poly Cleaners just down the road. Otherwise, our monthly dry cleaning bill would double. And Poly Cleaners does all the basics very well, thank you.
(P.S. The hours at Broadway Cleaners are also inconvenient. They close at 6 pm on weekdays and 2 pm on Saturday. Might be OK if you’re a work-​at-​home mom, but not so great if both parents work full time)

It’s a great location, very easy to run in and out. The staff there is very nice and they can do a great job. The prices are average, no real steal there but they are very dependable.

i trust them with my expensive stuff but they aren’t aggressive enough with stains on white…
