I wanted to grab some lunch to take to the beach after work and thought I would try this place out. I usually go to Pedone’s but this was right on my way. There was a sign on the door when I got there(11:30) saying ‘back in 5 – 10 min, on delivery’. I waited until 11:50 before finally giving up. Very disappointed!

Order from this place if you don’t want to eat. I ordered delivery from this restaurant two hours and was quoted a 30 min delivery time. Two hours later the food is not here, nobody answers the phone, I’ve called a dozen times. I have the correct number. It’s Friday at 2PM. I’ve already prepaid for my meal and tipped these lousy people. This has never happened before in my life. Pull your sh*t together slice. Don’t give these people your money.

All of the food here is GARBAGE. I found almost 4 hairs in my last meal. The guy named Wayne is super rude and took FOREVER to make my pizza. The first time he burnt my pizza and had to make another one. The service was absolutely horrendous. I will never ever recommend this place nor return.

With out a doubt the best pizza I have had in the last four years at least. Plus the guy who made my pizza was funny and was nice to my dog.

Review is on a slice of pizza only. Was out with my bro lil Chrissy and very hungry. Out shopping for a new axe. Our wives were waiting at home and I was starving. I was an easy mark to give a good rating for almost any food. Here enters«The Slice». I told my bro I needed a quick snack and thought I would try the slice. I also said we’re not telling the wives. So I go in and ask for a slice of cheese. I will now attempt to describe the slice that was more of a round/perimeter of the pizza. Imagine one side of a pizza about ¼ of the round edge with a Skosh of cheese and the color of sauce attached. Basically this was 2⁄3 crust and not good to boot. I don’t care that I spent $ 3 as this has led to the telling of a amusing story. What it didn’t lead to was anything remotely satisfying but my dog appreciated the leftover crust which was abundant. I was cracked up that a business would actually sell that scrap of leather. Sure, I could have said something but I thought I would just go thru with it. Haven’t been to Cici’s pizza yet but I’m sure it would be better. From the other bizarre homely slices laying out I don’t think I will give it a second chance.

Best Pizza Place EVER! The thin crust is perfect and the slices are a pretty generous size. Also I love the cheese the guy uses, it’s just delicious. And that leads me to the guy behind the counter… He is super friendly and provides EXCELLENT customer service. I love going to this restaurant so much I come all he way from San Pedro for a couple slices of pizza. :] A+++

Placed my order in advance at 11:00 to be delivered at 12:30 because that was the soonest possible time for it and I was on a time crunch. Food didn’t arrive until 1 o’clock which was 2 hours. The guy apologized and said that he was the only one in the store cooking the food at the time and in the commotion i felt bad for him and just grabbed the food so i wouldn’t be late for my next appointment. Come to realize that i was missing a few items as well as because he was so late i didn’t get any compensation. I don’t normally require one because to me its selfish but when I’m waiting 2 hours and I’m late because they aren’t put together, it all falls back on me. The food wasn’t worth the wait or money either. Never gonna go back.

Tried this place out for the first time and wasn’t really impressed it was not good at all. The pizza was cold and the ingredients weren’t fresh. I would not recommend this pizza. It’s also very bland

Top Pizzeria locally. Thin, crispy, not doughy, pepperoni and cheese pizzas. Just like East Coast pizzas! Always have a few great deals like Wings and Pizza for $ 20. Can’t beat that! Ask for Wayne, awesome dude! Eat here twice a week minimum. Highly recommend.

I been here bunches of times cause it is THEBIZNESS! Where Chill, low key East Coast atmosphere and Beach attitude meet. Great pizza and the most amazing wings EVA! Totally eating here again and again… ps… Salad always fresh as hell and yummy homemade ceaser… if u feel like keeping it light(ER).

Always a good meal here. It is a nice break from the overpriced, lousy pizza in Los Angeles. I would recommend the pizza and wings special. Delivery is always on time but would recommend stopping off for a slice at the store and chat it up with Wayne.

I may have just eaten the best slice of cheese pizza in Redondo Beach. I told myself I’d review this place after having a second meal, the first one being hot buffalo wings and meat ravioli. The first meal didn’t disappoint, pure unadulterated comfort food. I wanted the wings to be crispier, though. The tomato sauce here may not be as fresh as others, but it sure is tasty. But what has me going for more slices is this crust I’m eating right now. The bottom is black and charred, the sauce flavorful and the cheese, well your standard mozzarella. This may just be the perfect slice of cheese, making this establishment live up to it’s name. The owner is nice and friendly, consider eating in at their new booths. Next time I’m going to try to order a specialty pizza, not on the menu. I want a hot buffalo wing pizza with blue cheese please. Hopefully they will oblige. My reviews of pizza establishments are often harsh, I’m not a fan of Fresh Brothers or Valentino’s or most of the chains. After living in New York and having memories of eating huge slices out on the night drinking, it’s hard to please. The Slice is sure to satisfy east coast transplants hunger for thin slice pizza. *We just ate the BBQ chicken pizza and after all the good food, this place gets 5 stars.

This has been a favorite family restaurant for many years. We have been consistently disappointed with the quality of food and the lack of customer service over the past 6 Months. This evening we ordered well done chicken wings and received wings that were very much underdone. We had our dinner delivered because it was more convenient and were so upset with the quality we physically returned the chicken and were met with an abominable lack of remorse and l1terrible customer service. The young men working acted like deers in headlights when confronted with this quality issue and did nothing to rectify the problem. Sadly, we will no longer patronize this establishment.

I really enjoy the pizza by the slice here. Perfect, thin crust, not tough at all, and the toppings are just right for the thinness of the crust. I only removed a star because there isn’t more of an eat-in area. The owner is very nice but unfortunately frustrated because he recently bought the business and Unilocal won’t acknowledge that. So negative reviews are probably from the prior owner. I’m planning to come back and try more of their items. Beats Classic Burger a couple of doors down by a mile; every time I’ve eaten there the food was meh.

I’ve been a long time customer for 4 years. I absolutely loved their wings and it was my «Go to» spot for wings for years. And then The Slice went under new management and the customer service and quality of the wings just wasn’t the same… I wrote a poor review on here about 6 months ago expressing my frustrations. Shortly After I wrote my not so pleasant review, the owner Wayne reach out to me personally to apologize for my bad experience and had mentioned he was able to get back his old wing distributor from previous ownership. Wayne offered me an order of wings on the house to give them another shot, and boy they did NOT disappoint! The Slice has really stepped up their game and turned things around there. The Slice and Wayne have re-gained my trust again, they have some of the best wings in the Southbay and I would highly recommend anyone who has a passion for wings to give The Slice a try. You won’t be disappointed. I owe it all to management and their dedication to please their customers. Great job Wayne! Keep up the great work and I hope you continue to thrive. P. S. Their pizza pies are something to brag about as well! Brandon

The best hot wings I’ve ever had in my life! Don’t be afraid to try the suicide sauce on the side. Super flavorful, not just chemical burn lol. Their pizza is pretty tasty too. Owner is super friendly. Small spot, but able to watch games while you eat. Love it! I would definitely recommend this place

I’ve tried the pizza, twice, and it was Really good both times! Not greasy at all, full of flavor, with a good, firm crust. I’m actually surprised to see the negative reviews for this place. I will look forward to trying a calzone at some point, but right now I’m fixated on their pizza. Alas, I live JUST outside their delivery area… by my parents don’t, so… ! Watch this space for more details…
