I’ve only been to this location a few times because a friend works over on this side of Bellevue but the food here has made me sick, the employees here are not friendly to me and i’m just fed up with it all together, so here is my warning to you. At the end of last year, i came here late one night and ate food with my friends. We waited for quite a long time for 3 simple sandwiches with no one ahead of us. As i was waiting, i noticed the guy making mine was using cleaning solution minutes prior. I didn’t think much of it till i got home and started munching down on my food. It tasted funny. So i kept eating it, trying to figure out what that taste was. I finally munched on the right spot of my sandwich and found out it was cleaning solution because my stomach instantly got upset and i ran into the bathroom. Then the two clicked inside my head and i had realized what happened. He didn’t switch out his gloves. The people at this location did look rather tired. Its either he was too lazy or forgot because of being overworked. But i say it was laziness because he didn’t have a friendly attitude and constantly talked to his co worker in Spanish so we couldnt understand him. Since then, i’ve only stopped here a couple times during lunch hour and the food tastes like crap you left out in the sun for too long or they messed up my order because they couldn’t understand me or chose not to care. The prices at this location are pretty high as well and even tho the inside is nice and clean, i never stick around because i just don’t like the employees here. I havent been to this location in almost 4 months so i don’t know if things have changed but as you can see, i will no longer be stopping by here.

A terrible experience. This is the worst subway I have bet been to. Avoid it. They over charge and change the prices as they please. I was there at 11 on Saturday january 17th and they were horrible people working behind the counter with very little respect for the customers. AVOID.

Not bad as far as Subway goes. The food is generally pretty fresh, the staff is friendly and fast enough. A word of warning, due to its close proximity to Microsoft and other nearby companies, it gets very crowded here around lunchtime, and you likely won’t be able to sit — but that aside, for a quick sandwich, they fit the bill nicely enough.

I had a company function which entailed feeding about 160 people. Opted for party subs, but I don’t care for the local Subway here in Issaquah and I really don’t care for the one by my house in Factoria, so I came here to Unilocal and found this one in Redmond. The reviews convinced me to give this one a try. The owner, Douglas — very, very helpful and amiable. I was willing to go pick it up, thinking they wouldn’t deliver to ISSQ, but he did and for no extra charge! The subs were beautiful — I ordered 86 footers &13 footer — all came beautifully prepared and sliced and ready to go. He even provided side trays for extra fixings(olives, peppers, onions, pickles, etc.) and brought mayo & mustard packs for on the side. And the subs themselves were packed — no skimping on meats; the veggies all were very fresh. Made for a delicious lunch. The event went off without a hitch, and everyone raved about their sandwich. Lots of folks asked me where I got them, so I’m hoping this generates a little extra business for Douglas, because he certainly deserves it. This Subway? Now on a card on my rolordex: o)

«Best Subway in Seattle(okay, Redmond)» I have to note for all the Unilocal users the BESTSUBWAY in SEATTLE area. I’ve always thought a subway sandwich was so-so, no flavor and the lettuce is stale. But, I’ve had a few sandwiches here that I luckily get delivered to me at work that are JUST incredible for a SUBWAY. I won’t be caught at most Subway’s, but this is an exception and should get the compliments it deserves.

This is the best Subway I’ve ever been to. They are always super-busy, they are open really late(1 am, every day), they work hard to keep the store clean, they don’t scrimp on ingredients when making your food, and the people who work there are very friendly. They even have some ingredients that most Subways don’t… in addition to the two standard cheese choices, they offer monterey jack, real cheddar, and shredded mozzarella, which you can have on any sandwich. Nice. Being close to Microsoft and Group Health, they deal with a real lunch rush, and they have mastered it. The sandwich makers are efficient and they have everything ready to go when the crowd comes. They have some seating outside and not enough inside, but a lot of people take their food to go, so if you want to sit down, you’ll probably be able to do so. The dinner rush is more spread out but they are still well-staffed and ready when you come in. I’ve hardly ever waited behind more than two or three people at this store, which is NOT always the case at every Subway. The ladies’ room has what seems at first to be an unidentifiable odor; after a few moments, I realized it was a combo of really strong bathroom-type air freshener and baking bread. This sounds like it should be a good smell, or at least a tolerable one, but I didn’t like it so much. LOL It’s not their fault, and it is CLEAN in there. Another thing that I like is that they keep a few magazines(Newsweek, BusinessWeek, and something else along those lines) in library-type covers for you to read while you eat there, and it’s never hard to scrounge up the day’s newspaper, either. Oh yeah, and the sandwiches are really good. I have to admit, I love the Spicy Italian on wheat… in fact, that’s what I’m going to go get for dinner tonight. :-)
