Sprint Store

My husband and I recently switched from TMobile and Boost Mobile, respectively, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision! Part of the decision to switch was the promotion that Sprint was offering (cut your bill in half!), but the service we received from Wally was the main reason we joined Sprint! She helped me find a plan AND a new phone that was better and cheaper than TMobile! Because of those savings, we were able to switch my husband from Boost as well, even though there wasn’t a promotion specifically enticing us to do so. All in all, both with new phones, more data and the same international calling, we are saving a total of $ 20 from our combined cell phone bills! Wally was so very helpful and straightforward and knowledgeable! We had been to a mall Sprint store just the day before and were so turned off to having Sprint even be an option for us because the mall employees were so awful! But the employees we spoke with at this store, Wally specifically, were awesome! It is worth the switch! Thank you!

Made an appointment for 11am to ensure a quick trip. Asked 3 employees to «check us in» and we STILL weren’t seen until 12pm. The girl we ended up with didn’t bother to apologize and instead rudely told us that we were supposed to check in (which we had 3 times). Then she went on to blame all the other employees, still not apologizing, and still not asking us what she could help us with. I wanted to upgrade my phone since I had a $ 10 off/​month deal and she insisted that my contract could not be printed with the deal, but instead for the full price. SKETCHY! I insisted on taking a screen shot and she, all but literally, shoved us out the door.
TERRIBLE customer service.

Dear Sprint Employees at this location. Both my mom and I have been to this store with our phones because we could not connect to cellular data. We were in Europe and used a European sim card after getting our phones unlocked. No one at this store could figure out what was wrong. I ended up getting a new phone since I was due for an upgrade, but my mom came home after 2 visits today, wasting most of her afternoon.
Turns out, all it came down to was deleting a profile under ‘settings/​general’ — thanks to youtube, I figured it out myself.
To everyone else: I highly suggest going elsewhere.

Walked in and was ignored by everyone in the store. 10 minutes later I was told it would take 10 minutes before someone could help me. LAME!!!

Really bad customer service!!! Wait time is extremely long, and salesmen in store don’t care about your feelings at all. Don’t go there!

The person I spoke with in the store was about as helpful as I expected after my experiences on the phone.
Do not use Sprint. They lie about the «technical limits» of unlocking iPhone 4s’s and newer, despite the fact that these phones work perfectly on domestic GSM networks (they are dual band phones that fully support GSM and CDMA). The «technical limits» are they can’t be buggered to get the protocol’s in place to request a carrier unlock from Apple, because what do they care?
Take your business elsewhere. Even Verizon, another CDMA carrier, will unlock your iPhone. Sprint won’t. If you think you may ever change carriers — and even if not — do you really want a carrier that doesn’t care if you can use the device you paid good money for?

Went in to take advantage of Sprint’s new $ 50 Truly Unlimited plan, moving from AT&T.
Their computers errored out repeatedly, their touch screens didn’t work, and I spent 2 hours standing around in a store without enough chairs. Left with assurances that my number would be ported over, and that all was well. We’ll see.
UPDATE: Porting worked. So 2 stars instead of 1.
UPDATE: Went in to trade in my old phone. They’d promised me a certain amount, but now told me that I’d have to use half in store. Rude, lousy service = 1 star.

Same terrible service my wife encountered, try to sell us on a framily plan when all I want is to upgrad my phone. Lousy service, went to the Issaquah store and was taken care of immediately not lying to me like in Redmond. Worst service ever… I will NOT shop there again.

Worst customer service.
My boss called this store to see if they could fix my Samsung Galaxy Note 2. They were told that while they did not have a white case, they did have a grey case. They could do it and it would take an hour. By case, I mean casing for the phone due to the glass cracking.
I could not make it that weekend, so I followed up the following week on the phone. I was put on hold for 30 minutes. Apparently that is common at this store. I know this because when I remarked about this later in the store she said, «Of course, you were on hold, we had other customers.» When I spoke to the person on the phone earlier in the week, I was made to feel that I was being inconsiderate by asking her questions and taking up her time. I had to force her to go back to ask if they still had the case. I did not want to make the trip if they did not have the case. They did.
We made the trip up. I don’t drive, so my husband had to take me. It’s a 30 minute drive. Not entirely a long drive, but not around the corner either.
When were got there, the first thing the sales associate tried to do was sell me a outside case to protect my phone. The phone isn’t even fixed and she’s trying to sell something to me. I understand that’s her job, but can we look at getting the phone fixed? Actually that’s wrong, the first thing she did was scold me for not having a case for it. (I had taken it out of the case to have it fixed when I reached the store.) She then asked me if I dropped it often. Yes, I often throw it around just for kicks. I’m a business woman and a mother. I take care of my things and I had an unfortunate accident. The phone was in a case but it fell wrong in the garage on a solid cement floor.
She takes it to the back room and the tech says that they won’t fix it.
What???
There is no insurance and we can’t pay to fix it.
2 phone calls, a 30 minute trip, rude customer service and NOW you are telling me this?
I will be porting my number back to Verizon.

I called Sprint, and they couldn’t help me.
I went into another Sprint store, and they couldn’t help me.
FINALLY, I went here. I don’t know what was going on with my phone, I’ve never seen so many technically errors on an iPhone. I had to come in here on multiple occasions and they helped me out every single time.
A representative named Kevin was there all 3 times I had to come in. He helped me out every single time.
Jorge the technician also did quite a bit of troubleshooting with my phone. Although my phone was shot and done, at least he provided me with an answer. I called Sprint and they couldn’t even give me a reasonable answer.
Finally the manager, Jared. Since all tries ended up being a fail. He order me a new phone, and waived the fee since the company provided with a broken phone.
Things happen, but it’s a lot easier to deal with them when you have assistance.

Everything about sprint sucks!!! I have yet to find a sprint store that gives great customer service. eFFF you sprint!

I no longer work for the company, but let me leave some tips for the customers. This goes for every Sprint corporate location.
1) If you have an issue with your phone, chances are google and YouTube will be your best friends in solving the issue. Look it up. If not, then feel free to call ahead just in case they can troubleshoot over the phone. If not, then go in.
2) If customer service tells you one thing, and the store tells you another, don’t be surprised. Customer service hardly ever contacts the store about anything. Care said they left notes on the account, but the store can’t see it? Not shocking. I never knew how that worked, but try to only work with one side unless you really need to. If Care says you should go to the store for something, call the store ahead and see if you can. Chances are, you can probably save yourself a trip because sometimes the store can’t do what you’re wanting.
3) You are not paying $ 10 for 4G. Whoever told you that is lying. It’s for the amount of data that you are getting… unlimited. Oh and yes, it’s taking awhile for the 4G, but once it is completely up and running, be happy you still have unlimited.
4) Yes, your phone gets water damaged. «But my phone has never been in water!» Just because you haven’t dropped your phone in the toilet, does not mean that your phone will never be water damaged. Do not bring your phone in the bathroom while you shower. Do not stick your phone in the cup holder in your car. Oh, and you’re living in Washington! Your motherboard will start corroding from the moisture and the techs will see it. You need the proof, ask for it.
5) Batteries last usually for only a year. They’re an accessory to the phone. Expect to pay $ 50 when your battery dies.
6) Yes, all the employees make commission. Some employees more than others will accept the fact that maybe you won’t buy anything and will still help you for hours on end. Depends on who’s helping you and such. Just the truth. As it is with any employee anywhere that makes commission.
7) If they want to show you something when you’re there, let them. They’ll probably show you some cool stuff, maybe you’ll learn something new.
8) THERE IS A RESTOCKING FEE. It’s on the contract. You return your phone, it’s $ 35. No matter the reason. You have a problem with it, feel free to call Care. You signed the agreement. You return a tablet, it’s $ 75. That’s just how it is.
9) iPhone users: Sprint has a contract with Apple that says they cannot take apart your phone. It sucks, I know. That’s just how it is.
10) Don’t cuss at them, they’ll kick you out. If you yell at them saying you want to leave Sprint because of whatever reason and use it as a threat, what do you really expect them to do?
11) You can’t have things «thrown in» for free. Don’t ask.
12) If your phone is damaged, don’t expect all your information to be backed up and just able to go to the new phone. Back up EVERYTHING, regularly.
13) If you want your bill explained, only explained, to you and don’t want to deal with Care, cool. Don’t expect credits to your bill.
14) Get the damn insurance. Just get it. It’s a good deal. Accidents happen all the time. And don’t get pissed when you have to pay $ 100-​$ 200 for a phone replacement. Otherwise you will pay $ 600-​$ 800 for a new phone without the insurance. Just get it.
15) Have a BACKUP phone! You’ll want it when your phone randomly just dies (which btw is the phone company’s fault, not Sprint’s). Yes, we know, you use your phone for business and you absolutely NEED it and can’t wait 2 – 3 business days for a new one. Just keep a backup somewhere before it’s too late.
16) Why do people think the employees come up with the prices for the phones? Why?
17) If prices are $ 100 cheaper online, but not in store… read it a little more closely. Online automatically assumes you’re switching over from another carrier and takes off the $ 100. Doesn’t work with upgrades.
18) Going back to insurance, if you don’t have it and expect your phone to be fixed or even replaced for free, think again. There is a repair fee for hardware and ordering you a replacement. Do you think your car would be free to fix if you didn’t have insurance?
19) If you have to wait for awhile to be helped, don’t get angry. They make their best effort to assist everybody in a timely manner, but not everything is a fast process and things go wrong sometimes. They know you’re there, they’re not ignoring you. You’d want the same kind of attention their customers are getting too, right?
20) One more just for kicks: buy em a Starbucks. Absolutely not necessary, but you’ll be remembered as one cool ass customer. And they will be super happy to help you every time they see you even if you never get them one again, promise: P

Incompetent service, guy who picked up phone claimed to be manager, seemed a bit dull. Would not assume any responsibility as apple authorized service provider. This one should have AASP license removed.

I came to this store to have a phone looked at by their tech rep. After the front desk rep realized we weren’t going to get an upgrade his attitude changed from helpful to unpleasant. I called to check on the replacement phone today, the woman who answered had the same type of attitude. I would not recommend going to this store to anyone. My advice is to drive a few extra miles somewhere else where the reps are actually there to help you.

Ask for Mohamed G. He was awesome! Took great care of me and my friend and we had a good time. Best visit i have had anywhere in a long time. He is a G! Another reason why i go to sprint.

I was in Sprint store today and had the BEST SERVICE EVER! BJ Lee and Walquiria Gutierrez were outstanding. In todays world, it seems that good customer service is hard to find. When you do find, it really helps make your day.

Had great service here today! I needed an iPhone5 charger and couldn’t find one at 2 different Apple Stores and Target, and multiple reps at this store helped me figure out a solution with a car charger/​usb combo.
Had friendly customer service from everyone that worked there both on the phone, and in person. Shocked to see all these horrible reviews, but hey it happens.
It’s annoying how Apple releases a new phone, but then doesn’t supply the stores with enough chargers. That’s my beef with Apple and the phone companies– lack of supply for a new product they make such a deal about. Corporate America is really something else… However, I try to not blame the people working at the stores on the front-​lines– for bad policies that corporations force them to follow.
So again, my service was good.

Went in because a software update corrupted some files on my HTC Evo. Took my phone in there, dropped it off, only to come back and have them say, «It’s water damaged, we can’t fix it.»
Excuse me? Literally, I have never even dropped my phone on concrete, let alone drop it in water. I told them in a calm voice, «I know you don’t believe me, but I have never dropped this in water.» They then told me, «Well its due to the humidity.» HAHA! What a laugh!
Walked out of the store after they told me I could add another line and not keep my same phone number, basically trying to up-​sell me.
So what did I do?
Went to the Woodinville sprint store, and actually SAW the tech open up my phone and inspect it. He said. TADA! No water damage! Now thats customer service. actually being able to speak with the tech.
END RESULT?
The tech told me my options. I immediately went home, did the tweaks myself, and now have a working HTC Evo that has no water damage.
EDIT: I must say, the second you are able to talk with a CSR there, they brand you as an idiot. It’s hard to express in words, but basically they make you feel as if you’ve done something wrong or are just plain idiotic.
Called Sprint customer service in regards to another issue. TOP NOTCH on the phone. Baaaaad in this store.

Awful service. I have been greeted fairly promptly and asked my name which is placed on a sticky note and then barely addressed, but last time I was there, I walked into the store and spent 10 – 15 minutes just standing there. I work in restaurants, I’m not exaggerating. I know the classic, «My food took an hour to get to my table» when I can plainly see on a printed receipt that it was more like half that. Nope. I just stood there, like an idiot, being ignored for about 5 minutes then kind of awkwardly looked at a couple phones I had no interest in, finally returning to the counter to just stand there for awhile longer. There was a clerk «helping» another lady (she ended up just putting her on the phone with customer care) that disappeared. Finally after close to 15 minutes, a nice guy came out of the back and asked if I had been helped.
When they do get around to you, they treat you like a moron. The irony here is that I know probably twice what this guy/​gal does about computers and phones and such. If you’re going to staff your store with idiots who know next to nothing about the products they’re supposed to be helping you with, at least train them to be nice to the customers and treat once differently according to their situation/​knowledge level. I don’t want to be talked to like I’m a 70 year old dude who is finally making the leap to cellular technology. The staff seems to be better prepared to deal with language barriers than anything else.
If you’re not there to buy a new phone, get ready to be treated like crap. I went in with a broken phone, which I have paid insurance on for almost 2 years now. I got laughed out the door as the guy acted like I was a moron and told me I’d have to go to some other website to file a claim and scoffed that it wasn’t gonna be free. I had to pay $ 100 for the replacement. I understood the situation, just could’ve used a little respect from the representative of a company that I pay THOUSANDS of dollars to every year (and have for about 6 years). I took my girlfriend’s phone in as it barely works anymore. It restarts all the time and half the apps no longer work. It also won’t hold a charge. When she went to pick it up they had cleared everything from her phone, which we had ok’d them to do if if fixed the problems. IT DIDN’T. The phone still behaves just the same and to top it off the guy there acted like she was an idiot in reference to the phone not holding a charge. «There’s nothing wrong with your phone, miss, see I charged it just fine.» I wasn’t there for this or I would’ve given him a piece of my mind. My girlfriend came home crying to me and STILL couldn’t charge her phone. All they had done was erase all of her apps and stuff and the phone still had the same problems. It turns out her charger had gone bad. Mind you this is a charger that had no sign of damage and the one that SPRINT HAD ISSUED HER!
We are soo very reluctant to go here anymore, we just try to solve any issues through the phone customer care.

What the HECK Sprint?
I had the Sprint 4gs 16gb and wanted to upgrade during my window of time to the 64gb phone. They mentioned a $ 35 restocking fee + the difference between the 64gb and 16gb… fair enough. The spunky girl with the beady eyes was full of deceit (and remorse over working at such a crappy Sprint store I’m sure).
Here’s what they didn’t tell me:
+ New phone activation charge — $ 36
+ Signed me up for AppleCare w/​o my authorization $ 99
After speaking to a supervisor at the corporate Sprint location I am now 1 hour into fixing this fiasco to cancel AppleCare which required me to speak to a different division. They didn’t mention the new phone activation charge and wouldn’t reverse it but offered a 50% credit. BS.
Do yourself a favor:
— If you currently use Sprint wait for your contract to expire and switch to Verizon.
— If you are shopping for a new contract with Sprint then please change your mind immediately and switch to Verizon.
I was a Sprint customer way back when and left because of a crap load of hidden charges, fees, and bootleg customer service. I came back because they had commercials with the CEO assuring us that things have changed at Sprint with his plastic smile and empty promises. Rest assured, they are still the same crappy company with a different logo only this time they spent millions on marketing to encourage us to forget this fact.
