Paid $ 40 for Da Pan Ji(big plate chicken). This was by far the worst chinese dish I ever had for $ 40. All you will get is onions and chicken bones that have already been stripped of its meat to make other dishes. Please don’t make the same mistake as me… AVOID this scam!!!

Sister restaurant to Qin(formerly Biang! in Edmonds)! Same great dishes without the dreaded trek north. Hot seared noodles w/stewed pork — I can only comment on the one dish, but it’s my favorite, so that’s what I’m going to get. The noodle consistency is a little on the thinner side than at Qin(not a bad thing necessarily), but the same great taste! Love the short commute for us. So glad we stumbled on Miah’s!

I didn’t get a chance to take a pic for what I ate so called«ziran beef noodle» due to my phone’s dead battery. My dish was took out in 5 mins after I put an order, apparently it’s not freshly cooked, i suspect they keep enough well cooked noodles and only pour the hot sauces onto it! If you are not a Chinese, you could have said«oh well, it tastes still good(MSG)», because you never know what decent XiAn food are like … Another thing that makes me have to complain is the amount of food, it’s ridiculous! Can you imagine I only filled 50% of my stomach with their so called«large» amount? So what’s «small» amount, is it for little cat? The big bowl in this restaurant is so weird, it seems a big bowl but actually you’ll find it’s very shallow after you explore with your chopsticks! This is a very naïve trick that used to be used in China mainland… Never come back honestly, I would rather spend 1 hour cooking a noodle by myself at home.

Food was amazing. Best handmade noodles I’ve had and you have to try the celery sprout salad, it was absolutely to die for!

For being my first time, I’m not really sure how to rate it. On one hand, the food was delicious, service alright. and the lunch hour wasn’t as crazy busy as I thought it was going to be. We ended up ordering Cold Rice Noodles bowl and Big Chicken Platter. The waiter was nice, college-looking boy who took our order and went away. No checking up on us throughout the hour or anything close to it. We actually had to «holla» at him when we were ready for our check. But back to the food. Cold Rice Noodles is the only thing that would make me go back there. It was refreshing and the«mystery chewy meat» was actually not bad either. Big Chicken Platter was a 50⁄50 for me. Flavor was good and the dish is huge! But the chicken pieces looked like scraps that they took from other dishes, threw in a pot of olive oil and served with some noodles and potatoes. Again, not really sure how to rate it. It was good(specially the potatoes in it) but I doubt I’ll ever order it again.

This one is the same as the«Qin» in the north Seattle, but the cooking skill of this chef is not as good as the one in Qin. I tried the same dishes in 3 days but those served in «qin» is much better. Particularly the«biangbiang» noodle, this one’s is too hard, not chewy as much. Recommend you drive 20 minutes to «qin» for the most authentic Xi’an food.

For the price of the food, it didn’t meet my expectation. Big plate chicken, size of the chicken piece are bit too small. And somehow theres no wing in there, I was expecting 2 winds. Also, they put the noodle in there too early, all the noodles curled up in to a flour ball… The pork burger’s bun are too hard.

I am still not sure what I ate and paid too much for it. It wasn’t chicken. It wasn’t beef. I had dog meat stew once at a Lakota ceremony(Seriously, I did. No hating on me now.) and this meat was like it: gamey, bone remnants… you get the idea. The portion was also small with about seven chunks of meat stuff. No rice. No veggies. Even if the meat was recognizable it was still a rip-off. I got a refund, never going back and I recommend you stay away, too.

Liang Pi and Rou Jia Mo are pretty good, haven’t try lamp soup yet. But big plate chicken is not authentic.

Food tastes fine. But it’s pricey, especially if you don’t use their promotions. This place has a lot of choices for shannxi food.

First time here. Ordered cold noodles, spicy rice noodles, shaved noodles, Xi’an chicken and other stuff. Rice noodles are not fresh made. They tasted like some instant or packaged pre-made ones. The shaved noodles were more like wide cut noodles rather than the authentic shaved. Other than that… everything else tasted very good! Will definitely come back to try other dishes. We were pretty happy that we found this restaurant!

Was getting my phone repaired next door and stumbled into this place while walking to get coffee. I couldn’t recognize any of the menu items and asked the very nice waiter what the best is. He recommended the cold noodles. It’s the cold spicy kind in sort of a red oily soup. Needless to say, it was very tasty. I think it was wide rice noodles with fried tofu as well. He said it was thair specialty and along with the burger. Well why setup there. I ordered the burger too. I think it was a pork and potato burger which was good as well. They are very friendly mom and pop shop. I highly recommend.

I’m not sure why this restaurant is listed as Vietnamese. It’s a Chinese restaurant serving authentic Xi’an food. If you don’t know anything about Xi’an — it’s where the Terracotta warriors were discovered, close to the province of Sichuan, and had a Muslim population in the city. So, the food there tends to be spicy(the tingly and numb kind) with blend of spices that came from the Middle East, most notably cumin. My group of four came on a Wednesday evening. We ordered the following dishes: *Pork sandwich *Cumin beef sandwich *Three combination noodles(with tomato and eggs, zha jiang, and sao zi jiang) *Liang pi The restaurant was running a special, so since we ordered over $ 15 of food we also got a free Sesame liang pi. Since the place was not very crowded, we got excellent service from the waiter, who was very attentive to our every need. While the sandwiches were overpriced and not as good as Xi’an Famous Foods from New York, the noodle dishes were very delicious. The sesame liang pi was a nice treat on a summer day. Overall the food was not very expensive — the server even told us that if we worked nearby we could get a 10% discount by showing our badge. Update — apparently this only applies after 4pm. So of course we did that and the bill came out to be $ 30. Update — my boyfriend went back and tried the lamb soup. Would not recommend it :(It had thick skinned dumplings, carrots, and lamb all mushed together. The soup was a vinegar base that didn’t quite go well with the dumplings. Overall — 4⁄5 for food, but 5⁄5 for service. Would definitely come back.

This location just opened up recently and offers traditional Xi’An(Shan Xi) style Chinese food like cold noodles, rou jia mo, lamb paomo, etc. It’s pretty authentic and tasty. The Unilocal info listed here is wrong even for their business hours, I would suggest calling ahead to see if they’re open.

Like a lot of people, I don’t write review but read them before I go to a restaurant. Now, this place calls for me, a very lazy person, to write my first review. The service is rude, they don’t even greet people. «Just to-go order? Hum». I didn’t know restaurants are discriminating«to go» order now. Fine, what they put in the container is really pissed me off. How is so call $ 11.99 dish can be so sad like this? It is looking sad even. Be your own judge and take a look at this. You don’t have to be Chinese to know a restaurant should not charge $ 11.99 for it. Don’t go to this restaurant, period.

A bit confused about this place. Do not mistaken, this is not a Vietnamese restaurant although they do have Phở on their menu. Ordered the cold spicy beef shank and although it was good, it was way too salty. The spicy & sour pork dumpling soup confused me; from the name I expect it to be spicy and sour. The dumpling soup came out in a light broth with green onion and cilantro garnished. The dumpling itself was of pork and lots of chives. I didn’t detect any unique flavor from the dumpling or the soup. I ended up adding the spicy beef shank to my soup and it tasted much better after that. Maybe I just ordered the wrong dish? Service was a bit slow, one of the waiter there seemed very clueless.

I’m so glad my fiancé and I found this place. They have the best lamb soup and very good appetizers. Truly authentic. I even brought my parents and they enjoyed the food as well!

Good start. Very promising to see more Xi’an food out on the Eastside, thereby stealing some attention from Biang! out in Edmonds(I hear actually it’s the same owner). A good deal of the menu is hand shaven noodles, but as of yet they are not ready to serve those. Sort of weird as some items are crossed out but the noodles aren’t but they don’t have them either. Still we sampled a number of dishes on offer. Here are some notes: Liang Pi — the Liang Pi cold noodles aren’t what you would expect — they just use the phở noodles, but they’re also not cold. The spice and oil is pretty good though. Xian Chicken — one of the most unique items on the menu — very tender chicken meat Rou Jia Mo — the Lamb Burger tasted good but they seemed a little stingy with the amount of meat — not quite what I remembered from Xi’an. Dumplings — Lamb dumplings in Soup were excellent — so much so that we even got a second helping. Pao Mo — One of the signature Xi’an dishes. Exactly as I’ve seen it served in other Xi’an restaurants. One day I hope they’ll let the clients rip up the bread themselves because that’s part of the fun with this dish. Hope the criticisms are helpful as I have a lot of hope for the future of this place! I’ll be back when the noodles are ready!
