I met a friend here for happy hour after she was done shopping. I really wanted to like this place– happy hour from 3pm-close and a good wine list generally guarantees that, but the food and service missed the mark. Wine list was decent and happy hour pricing was very generous, so safe there. Really anything off their drink menu is worth ordering– the bartender definitely had his life together and was whipping up some awesome drinks. Food-wise, my pizza was okay. Small mix-up with the kitchen regarding my friend’s salad, and by the time she received that she had ordered my food was cold. Took a bit to flag our waitress down but she was friendly enough. I won’t avoid this place, but I’ll stick to drinking while I’m here.

3.5 Stars We came here for happy hour on a Saturday, and the place was busy. There is nice bar seating by a fire pit, as well as high table top sets in the bar. From the bar you can see the open kitchen. Our server was nice and noted my particular requests. I ordered the happy hour chicken wings, and asked that it be light on the buffalo sauce but extra crispy, and when it came out, it was exactly as I had hoped. We also had the caprese salad, which was good, and the slices of tomato and fresh mozzarella were thick. My boyfriend had the arugula and pancetta pizza, and thought the crust was a little rubber-y and hard to chew. When it was getting busier the longer the night went on, I had to get the attention of our server a few times, for him to refill my drink, but he did a good job waiting. Overall, the food was fine — nothing to boast about yet wasn’t terrible. I’d be willing to come back and try dinner or lunch.

The food is overpriced given the quality.

Some of the best food we have ever had. Have gone here several times in the last year and every time my wife and I say it’s well worth the drive from up north. Best pizza, and Italian dishes we have had. Way better that other larger Italian food chains. Keep making those dishes so awesome.

I used to frequent the Spazzo’s in Bellevue years ago and was always fond of their food. This was my first time having dinner at this location in Redmond Town Center. Four of us went to dinner on a Saturday night(January 9, 2016). First impressions were great! Lovely ambiance and energy. The hostess(Madeline) was superb. Our waiter, however, was very odd. In fact, awkward to the point of being downright uncomfortable. Every one of us at our table commented about it. He would ask a question; we would answer; and then he would stand there — not saying anything for an awkward few moments. This happened over and over all night. Oh well… The food was the biggest disappointment. I honestly can say I’ve had better meals at cheap, Highway Diners. My chicken breast was flat, dry and chewy. The pasta noodles tasted like they’d come out of a box. My wife had clams that were essentially tasteless. We won’t be back. It’s too bad too because their location at RTC is very nice. Their prices are reasonable if it were a better restaurant. We eat out a lot and this ranks as one of our worst experiences in recent memory.

Spazzo’s is a pretty good Italian restaurant and wine bar located at the Redmond Town Center. Ample amount of parking as it is located on the second floor right in the town center(above Gene Juarez and across from Matt’s Rotisserie and Oyster Lounge Restaurant). Typically, we purchase gift cards at Costco for this place(the gift cards are good at Daniels Broilers, Chandlers Crabhouse and Spazzo’s). We have had dinner here several times, and I wouldn’t say it is anything to write home about, but still good. The food seems to be a bit expensive for what you are getting. We typically go for happy hour. Happy Hour is every day 3 to close. We have tried many things on their menu. Some of our favorites to share are the Bruschetta, Spazzo Burger, and Poutine Fries. The pizza’s are pretty good as well if you are the mood for pizza. The wine menu has a pretty decent selection. If you are having dinner here, one thing to note is they do allow you to bring in your own bottle and pay a cork fee. We have done this a few times after spending the afternoon in Woodinville wine tasting. I would highly recommend trying their Sangria. They offer a red and white which are both fantastic. Often times they are doing a promo on the sangria where it’s $ 10 a pitcher. If the promo ends, they do offer $ 6 off a pitcher of sangria during happy hour. Overall, the staff are all really friendly. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. The food is good. Great happy hour. Plenty of parking and a great choice if you need a break from shopping around, before or after going to the Ipic, or if you are in the area.

Clean friendly lunch on a random Thursday. Bread and oil they brought out before was the worst thing I’ve ever encountered with a bread. It looked like bread, but had no other properties of bread. It was completely dry as if they pulled it out weeks ago. I took one bite then stopped. It tasted like sawdust. The chicken carbonara was great. Right amount of sauce chicken and pancetta. Worth a try. Server was a little scattered but I guess one lone person isn’t as important as large groups.

I visited Spazzo on a weeknight for a work dinner. The last time I was at Spazzo was when they were still in Bellevue, so I was curious to see how it compares to what I experienced a few years ago. The place was packed when we got there. Unfortunately, there was a large party there that night, so they sat us at a table that was awkwardly placed in the middle of everything: very hard to hear the rest of the people in the group. I ended up ordering: Chopped salad: this was good, although I barely finished half of it(pretty large portion size) Lasagna: just ok. It was a good sized portion, but wasn’t much more than a standard lasagna. Crème Brulee: again, standard dessert. While the food was ok, the server wasn’t the greatest. While I can’t say that the service was a disaster, it just wasn’t great(forgot a few things, interrupting at wrong times, etc.). Nothing major, but not the best either.

So hubby and I came here to celebrate our 7 year anniversary this past weekend. We were pretty disappointed. Food: We ordered clams and caprese salad to start. The broth that the clams came in was too salty and some of the clams were raw. We actually had to spit out a few and hubby accidentally ate a few. It was sad. The caprese salad was okay but I didn’t like that the balsamic on it was a sweet balsamic. PLUS, normally I feel like the ratio of tomato, basil, and mozzarella is the same but in our case it wasn’t. Oh and the house bread that comes out is very crumbly and dry. For entrees hubby ordered the prosciutto arugula pizza and I had the bolognese. The pizza tasted very nutty. It was dry and not good at all… The bolognese on the other hand was decent but the pasta was overcooked. –_– The whole dinner made me sad. PLUS, they didn’t even acknowledge that it was our 7 year anniversary. Didn’t feel special at all. Conclusion: I will not be back.

Pricing = 3 stars, Food = 4 stars — leaning towards 3.5 stars The food at Spazzo tasted great, but the prices are very steep. For example, their pork chop entrée is $ 25, Chicken Parmesan and Clam Linguine is both $ 21. For four people, the bill amounted to $ 102! We had a gift card, but without that, this would not be one of our top Italian options. ** Clam Linguine — The sauce was very light with a hint of wine, sprinkled with parsley and chopped tomatoes to add freshness. A heaping serving of clams almost covered the pasta completely. Overall, the portion size is perfect and is great if you’re looking for a dish that is less rich. **Chicken Parmesan — This included two thinly pounded chicken breasts — lightly breaded, covered with tomato sauce and cheese. They were placed on a small bed of Alfredo pasta. The chicken was delicious and pretty tender. I would have liked to see all the entrees include a side salad or soup to make the prices more reasonable. Unless you order a meat dish, like the pork chop, veggies are very limited. The service was friendly and the waiter was knowledgeable about the menu options.

My fellow Unilocalers were spot on with their reviews It’s been a long time since we’ve been to Spazzos. It WAS a fantastic Tapas bar in downtown Bellevue. Boy have things changed since they moved to the RTC. Asked for a romantic, quiet table and they put us in the back with a nice view of the bathrooms. Very disappointed with the quality of the cuisine. Started off with the Artichokes. They were pretty good, but that was about it. The Minestrone soup was very watery and salty with no flavor — too much tomato paste. The Clam Linguini pasta was overcooked and mushy with just about no taste. The same could be said about the Chicken Carbona. Not only was the pasta not cooked properly, but the chicken tasted very processed. I will give credit to our waiter. Our service was very fast and friendly. Also they had a nice Italian Wines selection/ We used to have such a good time when Spazzos was located in Bellevue. It’s too bad that things went down hill when they moved to Redmond.

Great little Italian restaurant. I get the chicken piccata every time. I feel like even on a Friday night it is not hard to get a seat, a huge plus considering most of redmond is packed on a Friday night. Happy Hour prices are great, wine is great, beer is great! Great location for a local nice spot for a date night Reason for 4 stars instead of 5: Being it’s at the town center, parking is atrocious on a Friday night and service is a little slow, I often see several different servers accommodate us throughout the night which has led to inconsistency and poor timing on the order in which we’ve received things(ie. Appetizers before drinks)

Meh. It’s just okay. They use WAY to much garlic in every dish; so much so that it’s pretty much the only thing you can taste. When I eat a bowl of pasta or a pizza, I want to be able to taste every component — not just garlic. There is no flavor balance, and you end up having dragon breath for the rest of the day. Also, the front-of-house staff has been remarkably unprofessional every time I’ve dined there. The wait staff, however, has been fine. From here on out, I’ll go there if other people want to, but I won’t go there on my own initiative anymore.

4 stars for the food but 2 stars for service which is how I arrived at my 3 stars that’s plugged in. First visit and probably last, we were seated right away and met our pleasant and very kind waiter who failed to give us his name so I can’t give him a shout out. Brought our bread and told us he would return with the dipping oil, he forgot twice and I finally had to ask someone walking by. 25 minutes later he returns and asked what I ordered and mentioned he hadn’t put our order in! By then I was getting annoyed… we noticed 2 different managers who kept there distance from our table but kept an eye on us, would have been nice had they helped out our waiter since he really had too many tables but nope no help… finially our food was delivered by someone other than our waiter. Delicious. But honestly I feel more attention was definitely in order.

They have a specials menu that they call happy hour even though happy hour lasts all night, with a decent selection of mostly reasonably priced foods. We orders a pizza, salad, and prawns. The pizza was large enough for two. It was pretty good and definitely worth the ‘happy hour’ price. The prawns on the other hand were a very small order and not in an especially flavorful preparation. They were cooked just right however. The atmosphere is decidedly nice. I’ve been here other times for the regular entrees and they were pretty good. This is a great place for a date or a business meal. They do host events and provide a decent spread. The service is always great of not slow from time to time.

Went here with my family we ordered chicken charbinara, clam linguine, pork chop, pasta primavera. I tried all of the dishes. The chicken charbinara was the only thing that was good, probably cause the pasta was cooked in bacon. Everything else was lacking in flavor and just seemed like the ingredients were just put together. The food does look nice tho, but it is not worth $ 20 per plate. Their fresh toasted bread was good!

Went for Happy Hour last night. I thought it was pretty great! They were very accommodating to my friends Gluten Free requests. Poutine Fries — um, what? So delish. Would go back just for those! Gorgonzola, pancetta and a yummy creamy sauce for the fries to soak up. Tuscan Hummus — It was fine, not my favorite hummus that I’ve ordered. Would I order it again? Probably not just because there are other things on the menu I’d rather try. Artichoke Hearts — we had these GF. They grilled them for us rather than deep frying them with the batter. I thought there were pretty tasty with the aioli. Beet Salad — Nothing super fancy about it but still a good basic salad. Diablo Prawns — Pretty awesome! Would definitely order those again. Chop chop salad — Super awesome! The smoky cheese mixed with everything else in this salad is so good.

Service was the best part of the experience — our wait staff was on top of things(despite the long wait for a glass of wine because the bar was backed up). For being a Schwartz Bro’s restaurant I was super disappointed in the menu — there wasn’t anything there that I would specifically go back for. Atmosphere felt very Cheesecake Factory/Stanfords(basically chain restaurant) — esque. We did love the fried mozzarella appetizer, I had the clams which were tasty(again nothing to go back for though), and risotto. All were fine. Date had the Cirque de Soleil menu special, salad was fine, steak okay(not on Daniel’s level), and the shrimp stuffed with crab was not good, smelled and tasted very fishy. There’s better Italian out there for cheaper!

Not bad. Customer service was alright . We got in pretty fast for a Friday. Ordered a variety ; Lasagne Spazzo Parmesan Alfredo with meatballs on the side. Kudos to the waiter for putting up with our varied orders. I would say quality of food was a couple steps above Olive Garden . The ambiance is nice. Family friendly as well.

Nice Italian menu, great attentive staff and good wines. Love the atmosphere, smells, and taste explosion. We end up playing with the crayons on the butcher paper and always start with an appetizer. Prices are decent, service peppy and wait staff is non-intrusive. We’ll be back.

I’m not convinced this is Italian food, but hey. it’s pretty tasty. I’ve been here once for lunch — the salads are incredibly tasty. Service was prompt and friendly. We came by another day for a drink in the bar before heading off to nearby Cirque du Soleil at Marymoor Park. The wines were sort of meh. I would definitely come back for the food, but I will avoid the wine list in the future. The bar is pretty cozy with a big firepit and a big TV. The waitstaff was very accommodating with our schedule when they overheard us talking about Cirque. When we needed the check, bam, it appeared. Definitely recommend!

This place is decent. The ambience is nice and the food smells good(I didn’t order any). I had a sangria, which was rather expensive. The staff was nice. My big complaint is that the music is so loud. It makes it difficult to hear a conversation in a group.
