Good food, most of the dishes were good. We also sat outside in their lovely garden, but while we’re «sniffing» the flowers we had to stop periodically to avoid the diesel and cigar fumes coming fron the street and the park next door. The inside room is very nice, but has inadequate air flow, and it was a very hot day, so the garden was a welcome alternative.

My husband decided to find a new place for us to go to dinner in Redmond one day after work. We had wakes by the Stone House before and their menu looked good so we decided to give it a try. The place was super cute with an outdoor area. It was an old house converted into a restaurant. We walked in and grabbed a table in the back. They had a great local wine list with glasses and by the bottle options. We ended up going with a bottle of Viognier and it was delicious and really well priced. For our entrees we got the salmon gnocchi and the lamb. Both dishes were delicious. For dessert we shared the donuts which were also delicious! The atmosphere was super cute and great for a date night. The service was wonderful as well. We will definitely be back!

This place is small but excellent! The food is EXCELLENT! We recently went to RN74 and I think this place is WAYBETTER! It seems they constantly change their menu items to ensure fresh seasonal ingredients. I like! The place is very small so it’s always booked out on weekend. We went on a Thursday and there were plenty of seats. Food we had: Appetizer: 1. Mussels: The mussels are well-cooked and tender! The soup is amazing!!! Seasoned to perfection. The bread is AMAZING!!! 2. Pork Belly: It’s too oily for me but the rest of my company said it’s good Entrée: 1. Duck Leg: Not a lot of places has this dish and I love it! 2. Halibut: Good! 3. Beef Tenderloin: Really tender and I like the BBQ sauce is good. Dessert: 1. Italian doughnuts: It has four in a plate and it was AMAZING! Not too sweet but sweet enough to finish the whole meal 2. Coffee brownie: This is on the house and OMG it’s so good! I was already so full by the time but I had to eat some of this. It ends out meal perfectly. We will definitely go back there again!

Couldn’t get into Woodblock so came across the street and ran into this place. So glad we did! What great experience and tremendously delicious food! Had for starters: Bone Marrow and the fried green tomatoes with crab. Both were extremely delicious. The only knock I would say was that there was hardly any crab on the dish. Still very good nonetheless. Had the halibut which was amazing and the brownie with ice cream for desert. That was phenomenal. The Tropical Mules were reminiscent of the Mules at Moreles in Vegas. Outstanding! I highly recommend coming here!

Dinner was absolutely perfect. The flavor and preparation were spectacular. The service impeccable, the drinks delicious, and dessert unbelievable. Both dishes the Salmon with gnocchi and roasted lamb were off the charts.

This place was amazing. I have been very impressed with everything at the restaurant. We got the pork belly and the fried green tomatoes as starters. The pork belly was tender and fatty, just the way I like it, and the sauce has a hint of sweetness to it. The fried green tomatoes had corn and shreds of Dungeness crab on top. It was crispy, but not overly greasy. For the main dish, we ordered the tenderloin(both medium rare and medium), pork chop, and scallops. The portions for the tenderloins were pretty small, but it was dense and juicy. The tenderloin had a chili crust, which had a strong kick, but was not overpowering. The scallops were perfectly cooked with a crispy crust. Although there were only three of them, the scallops were big. The pork chops were my favorite. It was a bit salty, but the pork chop was tender and super filling. This might be the best pork chop I have ever had. Overall, it has been really enjoyable, and I would come again. tl;dr: The restaurant was adorable, the staff was friendly, and the food was great.

I ordered the Dungeness crab pasta but it was too salty. The peas were also over cooked and tasted very dry. Was expecting better food based on the reviews and my table mates seemed to enjoy their meat dishes. Server brought out cheques for the table while I was still eating, this is quite rude and there wasn’t even people waiting

We stopped in for the new spring menu release, and as always the food was amazing. We sat over in the bar area and they were doing some raffles which was kind of cool. I tried the soup of the day and it was amazing. My husband and I shared a few of the small plates and had the BBQ pork fries which we could not eat fast enough. For the entrée we split the jalapeño catfish, which was seasoned and cooked very well. It was a little spicy and saltier than I cared for, but my husband disagreed. I enjoyed some various flavored mules(which they serve in awesome double walled Copper mugs). Can’t for the weather to warm up a bit so we can enjoy more of the mules on the patio.

Ohh Stone House. You are simply amazing. The food here is DELICIOUS but the best thing on the menu is the dessert. The bread pudding is the best thing I have ever eaten in my life and I am not exaggerating. The service is always fantastic and the restaurant itself is so so cute. Every time I come here, I order either a fish entrée or a steak. They are always so well prepared. The sauces they create at this place are out of this world. I haven’t tried any of the drinks here because I am not much of a drinker so I can’t comment on that. I highly recommend this restaurant. KEEPINMIND, it’s not on the cheaper side but it’s also not TOO spendy. Starter entrée and dessert for one person would run about 50 – 60 $.

We went here for brunch the weekend of Valentines Day. The décor is beautiful and sets you up for a cozy ambiance and experience and makes you feel like you’re in a ski lodge/log cabin in the woods. They served a delicious spiked raspberry hot chocolate in mason jars which added to the feel. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and thought it was pretty good. The biscuit was huge and home made and paired nicely with the sausage gravy. My husband was equally as impressed. The service was on parr with the exception that it took us a while to be taken to our table, but that was because the servers were taking care of their patrons and their wasn’t a designated host/hostess.

I really enjoy eating dinner here. It’s perfectly tucked away in the center of Redmond, incredibly charming, and the wine and food are amazing. Also, there are rumors that it is haunted! Definitely a must try in Redmond.

6:30 dinner so it wasn’t too late, but several items on the menu were not available. What was served was good. Very nice mussels in red curry broth and a very nice pear and persimmon salad. The short ribs were tender, but the clams on linguini was not on any linguini I’ve ever seen before. Service was so-so. Not bad, but a bit of a wait from finished entrée to choosing desert. Coffee came but without the requested cream and sugar. All In all good, but iffi.

Beef, Beef and more Beef please. I tried both beef entrees when I was out with a colleague the other night and they were both the bomb. We also started with the Muscles, also a fantastic dish and I’m an absolute snot about anything Seafood. If it tastes of nasty ocean, not clean crisp, I’m done… not here. these muscles were amazing! The wine selection is out of this world. I am a big white wine drinker and they had so many to choose from I had trouble and tried a few(Sav Blanc and a buttery Chardonnay) my Colleague got a nice Merlot that she loved. The servers were very helpful and kind. We came in without a rezzy and were able to be seated, but the place was packed so I suggest a reservation. Oh and street parking is available but they have a lot on the South side of the building(I think it’s south, I forgot to look at the compass) Now on the the Ambiance(imagine it with a fancy accent. it works better) In the middle of quickly growing Redmond is this tiny little old house that looks like it could be a cottage out of that glowy windowed painter that was big in the 1990’s… the ones that make you feel like you just landed in a fairytale… yeah… if there was more space around this place I think I would feel that way. Inside, it’s cute and quirky with that old charm. I love all the stone work. it’s cozy and romantic. Want to impress a date? Yeah, do this seriously… it is romantical(again imagine the accent) It coudl be a big win for you. Only one small warning, I don’t recall a huge vegan/veterinarian list of options, so if you date is a veg… I say look on to other gardens… Oh and ONE more thing… expect to spend some cash… it’s good food… but you pay for that… ENJOY!

Great service, intimate atmosphere, quality food. We came here for an anniversary date and just loved it. I had the beef tenderloin and it was cooked perfectly with incredible seasoning. Highly recommend! In the summertime, it would be nice to sit outdoors in their garden area.

The Stone House is our new favorite place. The food was outstanding and the service impeccable. We started with the persimmon salad(with lovely goat cheese) and the pork belly appetizer. The chef accompanied the pork belly with an egg. It was sooooo good! The combination of flavor and texture was perfect. Entrees were salmon and lamb. If I go into detail I will be here all night, but the sauces were enough to make me lick my plate. The food is divine and the atmosphere romantic and homey. We will be back!

I visited while in town on business with two colleagues. Quaint little house tucked in the middle of a modern live-play community, almost as if it didn’t quite belong. Inside is equally small, so make reservations and arrive on time vs. early, as there is literally no place to stand to wait for a table.(We had pre-dinner drinks down the street.) Awesome spot for date night or catching up with an old friend. Very intimate. Conversations tend to bounce off the walls a bit. The food was very good, and the kitchen and server did a lot right. However, nothing struck us as extraordinary; hence, a solid four stars.

Reading the reviews, I thought I was in for a treat. And I was. a treat that landing me in the bathroom with a stomach ache. I love love bone marrow and was excited to sample theirs. I had to send it back because it was undercooked and then later that day, it made me sick. The bread was not consistent. Some pieces were burned and some were barely warm. My friend has their Braised Boneless Beef Short rib, She too was not impressed. She mentioned that it lacked flavor and neither of us completed our meals. Dessert. um. NO.

Its a very small space that I cannot call intimate because they’ve maximized the capacity and it gets loud with very few tables occupied. I would call it a wine bar with a small menu of Small and Large Plates and a very nice Dessert menu. Adding a soup or two would have been nice. We had two items on our order that were notable. The Scallops came with angel hair pasta that could have been cooked a touch more to reach al dente. It came with a 60 degree egg whose runny yolk gave a creamy richness to the noodles. Two of the scallops were pretty small.(Sad face) For dessert, we were excited to find chocolate soufflé on the menu. The wait during the prep time was totally worth it. It was wonderfully light and with the whipped cream had just the right amount of sweetness. It ranked right up there with the best soufflé we’ve had.(Happy face)

A quaint little restaurant that looks like your Grandmother’s house situated in the hustle and bustle of downtown Redmond, the Stone House is a great place for a classy meal on the eastside. Apparently it’s haunted as well. I don’t really subscribe to that stuff, but it’s a fun thing if you do! The restaurant is very small. I think there are 6 – 8 tables in the entire place. There isn’t a bar, but they do have a decent liquor selection in a little closed off area. The cocktail menu is alright. Not a craft cocktail place I would recommend as solely a «grab a drink» spot, but the intrigue in the cocktails will get you through dinner just fine. The food is very good. Prices are a little high and the portions aren’t huge, but this is a nice restaurant and not a Black Angus after all. I took my dad here for his birthday and all 6 people at the table enjoyed their meal, including myself. The menu changes pretty regularly, so look at the menu on the website with the knowledge that the thing on the website may not actually be available at the restaurant. But you should be able to find something that is tasty. I probably won’t return on an extremely regular basis due to proximity to my house and the prices, but if you’re hanging on the eastside and perhaps you’re celebrating something special, Stone House is a great choice!

The more I eat at 4.5 — 5 star restaurants and leave feeling unimpressed, the more I think that maybe, just maybe, I should really think about opening up my own restaurant. If it’s so easy to impress others, but so hard to impress me, then maybe I should just do it myself, no? My fiancé and I ate here with some dear friends who are moving out of state. They had dined here before when they first moved here 7 years ago, and wanted to come back to leave Seattle on a high note. Well, either their standards have risen, or the quality at Stone Kitchen has gone downhill. I started with a half dozen oysters, and then ordered the salmon with semolina gnocchi and mushrooms for my entrée. The others ordered the duck and pork ragu with paperdelle pasta. The oysters had too much broken shell, and the mignonette sauce was way too vinegar-y and lacked the zing of shallots or pepper. Plus, I had to ask for an oyster fork and a lemon wedge. Not cool. Then, my salmon was undercooked and bland, and the gnocchi tough and un-pillow-y. Their ragu was one-dimensional and the pasta meh. My fiancé makes an amazing seared salmon and I make homemade gnocchi and fresh pasta from scratch… needless to say, we won’t be coming back. For the price we paid($ 120) for just one shared small plate, two mediocre entrees and 2 glasses of wine, it’s not worth it. The service was good, though.
