Redmond Signature Dentistry

I’ve been going to this dental practice for over 20 plus years, but I am going to have to switch to another doctor with a smaller more long term steady staff.
This dental practice has gotten way too big for my comfort level. It seems that every time I have a dental appt. there is always someone new. I am a creature of habit/​routine when it comes to my medical care. They clearly know this about me, but it seems they always still give me someone new. This compounds my anxiety and causes my vital signs to go into over drive. I am not a naïve patient about my medical care. My education and professional background is in Health Information Management. It makes me very uncomfortable and my trust is lost when I continue to encounter less than optimal dental assistants with a poor chairside manner.
I am sorry, but I need a smaller dental practice with a warm and caring environment.

Been going here for ten years but going to have to find a new office because they can’t schedule me an appointment for four months out! Maybe if the office wasn’t closed on Fridays and actually had hours working people could attend I wouldn’t have to wait four months for a cleaning.

Some of the office staff were helpful, the billing lady was not as nice. I was given the worst referral to an endodontist. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I used to not be afraid of going to the dentist, now I am terrified. I would not recommend this dental office to a friend.

I am giving one more star because they were so active in following up with my review here. They apologized profusely and did eventually contact my new dentist to transfer my xrays. Unfortuantely it’s too little too late. Dental work is, after all, time critical! My new dentist had to retake my xrays, and they are still priced EXHORBITANTLY for their work (like 5 times over industry standard). I do appreciate the follow up however. And without their unprofessional handling of my account I would not have my LOVELY new dentist, DDS Narang at Sunrise Dental of Redmond (whom I simply adore)!

Going to the dentist can be a difficult experience for many, especially those who have had bad experiences in the past like I have. I recently had my first visit with Dr. Stonebraker and I have nothing but good things to say. My hygienist was thorough, gentle, patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and so many more wonderful things than I could write in a brief review. It is incredibly apparent that this practice stays ahead of the curve when it comes to dental treatment. I hadn’t been to the dentist in two years, came out of my first visit at Redmond Signature Dentistry with a few cavities, and I can honestly say I am glad that I went and I am looking forward to being more consistent with my 6-​month visits. In addition, it was evident that RSD was prepared for my multitude of questions regarding dental coverage and provided me with all of the answers I needed.

The most caring and attentive dental experience that I have ever had! I would recommend all of my family and friends to go to this dental office!

After having some really unpleasant experiences in the past, I avoided the dentist for years. After having a broken tooth, I found Redmond Signature Dentistry and had my first appointment. I was terrified during my first visit, but that changed almost immediately. I cannot say enough about how amazing they are, and particularly how much I adore my hygienist, Aleana. She takes such good care of me and I actually look forward to my appointments. As crazy as it sounds, I always leave feeling like a VIP! I recommend RSD to everyone I know… especially when I hear from friends or co-​workers who have had bad experiences in the past or are fearful. I truly cannot express how they have changed my life. I got all caught up on my dental needs, have regular cleanings now, and have no more dental work needed! It’s a wonderful feeling!

Great service on the front end, very clean and personable dental assistants. The issue was an insurance miscommunication, which definitely costed us. What also costed us was that as part of their «normal» new patient exam, they do two sets of x-​rays that the insurance sees as redundant and therefore does not pay for. The biller on staff was less than helpful and very rude about the issues. It’s unfortunate that I have to give it 2 stars (only reason I didn’t give it a 1!) because it’s obvious the front desk and dental staff strive to provide great customer service.

I get my teeth cleaned twice yearly there and they did a nice job, also I had some cavity treatment there and I was totally satisfied. I truly recommend there.

been coming to dr. mclaughlins for 21yrs… since we moved to the usa from uk. have never been to another dentist! say no more!

Thank you to Dr. McLaughlin and Drew for a caring, comfortable visit today. I went in for a perio-​cleaning appointment today and was met immediately with someone I know and really like. That is comforting when a new dentist and staff are there in the iffice formerly occupied by Dr. Files and his staff. My hygienist was someone I also know, but when I mentioned one of my teeth chipped, she called my new dentist in to take a look. He was new to me, and I was apprehensive, but my concerns were alleviated when he took the time to talk with me so we could get to know one a other even before he looked at my chipped tooth. Bravo! I would highly recommend this dentist.

Their account payable lady needs a lesson in common sense. I was put in a very embarassing situation for $ 42. I had an appointment to do cleaning and paid $ 82 cash as copay for insurance, then the Hygenist noticed I need to pull a tooth, so she called the Dentist to make sure he is available to pull it, he said no problem, so she increased my novocaine level to make sure am all nice and numb. She walked to the account lady/​manager and she demanded another $ 42 from me of which I was not ready to pay from any credit card I had with me. She then said well we demand a payment upfront, I said I am already numb and ready, so she said let me check. She wonders around the office for three seconds then come back and said“well the doctor is running behind anyway and he wouldn’t be able to do it” I said are you serious, he just said he was ready and am really numb. All this because of $ 42, I then offered to pay through electronic check of which she said they don’t do. Finally someone I guess interferred and let me in, all of a sudden the dentist was not falling behind. I have three more deep cleaning schedules, and two major Crown procedures, I am not going back to this Dentist office because this lady has no common sense. I will call and pay you your stupid $ 42 but you lost all of my business and many of my staff at where I work if they ever asked for a dentist. Good luck

Staff was friendly as always. Cleaning was quick and efficient. X-​rays didn’t even hurt. Well done.

Redmond Family & Cosmetic is transitioning to take over my original dentist’s practice (Dr. Files, 7502 164^th Ave NE #135, Redmond, WA 98 052, (425) 885‑0008) as he is forced to retire due to a very unfortunate medical diagnosis. I left this review on both company’s profiles…
I went in yesterday for my first visit with one of the newer dentists rather than Dr. Files (newer to this practice, but experienced in the field), Dr. Stonebraker. Majority of the staff is the same as it was before, just a few new faces/​hygenists. Everyone is just as friendly as the original staff and they go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and taken care of.
My appointment started with Lindsay who was great. I let her know that I have slight anxiety about the needles/​drills processes, so we got the nitrous going. Though this is a small added fee, it is well worth it if you feel any anxiety about dental processes. She was attentive about the level of the gas I received — wanted to gradually work it up to a level of comfort rather than just pump up the gas and call it good. She said some people get a little dizzy, and I appreciated her concern. She didn’t hesitate to call in Shelene to administer the anesthetic via needle, after I expressed my feelings about sharp things coming at my face.
Shelene is a pro. For sure. She kept the needles out of sight the entire time and approached my mouth with the instruments from an angle that I wouldn’t see it coming, without me even asking/​suggesting. I thought that was pretty considerate and it was much appreciated. She double-​checked with me to make sure my mouth was good and numb before we moved on to the next part. Pro, I tell you! :)
Lindsay came back in and assisted Dr. Stonebraker with the fillings process. Both were great. They worked well as a team and I felt like the procedure went by pretty quickly, even though in reality it was nearly 2 hrs. Lindsay even took the time in the middle of the process to reapply some chapstick for me to make sure I was comfortable. Much appreciated!
The check-​out process went smoothly, per usual. The ladies at the front desk are great and always make sure my questions are answered. The new hours offered for appointments are VERY convenient and there is a LOT of availability thanks to the new team coming aboard.
I have no complaints… other than I wish my insurance would cover more of the charges. But that has nothing really to do with the office. Thanks everyone for making my experiences at the office great! I really appreciate all you do, and will always highly recommend the practice.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Tony for almost 16 years now. I am the type who gets cleanings EVERY 6 months (never skipped!) and have only had 2 (maybe 3) cavities in my life… nothing more… so I don’t require many dental services. While I know good genetics has a lot to do with it, I also give credit to the great advice and thoroughness of Dr. Tony’s care over the years.

We’ve gone to Redmond Family & Cosmetic Dentistry for several years, but we decide to look for another provider in the area. I’ve always felt like they would suggest treatments that were not really necessary. However, the biggest issue that I ran across is that they missed a big cavity that was developing in my tooth for some time. When I switched to another dentist, he immediately noticed it and showed me the problem area that required a huge filling. It didn’t really hurt so I never complained, but this is something that they should’ve caught during a routine exam. I was pretty disappointed.

I went to this dentistry back in 2005. I had a root canal and some fillings done. I have to say that this is worst experience I ever had to pay for. Not only are the crowns breaking on me. But my teeth have been ground down to the point where I can’t even chew my food. I paid this dentistry alot just to do these repairs, and they are so persistant to take your money and only have you come in when it’s convient for them (they are only looking out for they’re 3 day weekends). I am sure most of you know what I am talking about. And also when they did the teeth cleaning, the dental tech was so upset (about something) that she was wrenching on my mouth with the floss, causing my mouth to bleed alot. I floss on my own and it didn’t even compare to what she did. I was compelled to write this review due to the fact that everyday I have to deal with continuous pain and discomfort of eating. I now have to pay more just to have these repairs done again. I spoke with a dentist here where I moved to and he said that Mr Stonebreaker wore my teeth doen so much to the point where it would be assumed to be bruxism! This dentistry is out to get your money and that’s all they care about. And I hope they do see this… if you wanna rob somebody, do it in a part of town where it’s usually accepted!

My son and I have been visiting Dr McLaughlin for years, he’s a really friendly guy and a pro at what he does. Tony is extremely accomodating, and I think he gives really straight advice on whether one needs or does not need a procedure; I’ve never had him try to sell me on something that I didn’t need. Dr Stonebraker has also provided good service the couple times I’ve seen him.
Tony also does a great Donald Duck impression :-)

I like this dentistry. My teeth were a mess before I went to them. I got them deep cleaned. Then they taught me how to use the sonic care brush correctly. It helped my gum to grow more healthily. Actually I just pulled out my wisdom teeth today! Seeing all 3 of them rotten already, I cleared my doubt about why they pushed me to do it. not from the sales approach, but for the health of my teeth. I’m gonna show my mom the picture so that she can ‘shut up’ about not needing to take those teeth out.
Most doctors there are really nice. Staff greet us very warmly every time. Anthony is super smart and funny and he does a good job. I also like Dr. Stonebraker. Had a bit of weird experiences with a couple of hygienists (one of them talks *a lot* about things I dont actually care. the other one was apparently new so the experience was a bit unsmooth. and she forgot to give me my free toothbrush!) but mostly they are pretty nice.

I enjoyed my experience at Dr. McLaughlin’s office. His staff was very friendly and informative and I left w/​a full understanding of what I needed to have done. The work done that day was done w/​care and courtesy and being one of the many w/​o dental insurance, they were able to offer me an awesome payment plan. I will for sure go there for future needs. I have to wonder how someone could give a bad review but still admit to going here for years? I’m thinking they let one bad taste ruin the whole meal. If you’re an eastsider looking for a good or new dentist, I would give them a shot.
