I had their black forest cake, it was terrible. My kids who love anything sweet couldn’t take more than 2 bites before throwing it in the garbage. I cannot believe they charge 5.50 for small slice that has clearly been in the frige for at least 3 days and lacks taste. I expect swiss merengue butter cream for 5.50 for a slice. Do not go here for a cake.

Whose Crème Brûlée is liquid? Apparently Belle Pastry’s. When I took it to the counter thinking it was a bad batch, the employee proudly told me, that’s just how they make it. They told me it’s «an acquired taste.» When I accepted the fact and sat down to eat, I could not find a clean fork or glass to use. The crème brûlée ended up in the trash and I left with no intension of returning.

Staff was great but… I’ve been here before, my bf and I were pleased with the cookies and the coconut macaroons. This time I tried the strawberry cake and the pear berry tart, both were gross. The frosting on the cake was awful(store bought would have been better, and that’s saying something.) the cake was so moist it leaked everywhere in the box, the only edible part was the strawberries. The tart crust was extremely hard, flavor inside was barely alright. My bf liked his Nutella muffin and has yet to try his apple tart, but the crust on that was super hard as well. All in all, waste of money. Will definitely go back for macaroons(and might try their savory items) but cake… never again.

The store was quiet. The cakes are quiet expensive, but overall it taste not bad. I ate my crème brûlée and I am happy with it.

I had a mocha here once a egg sandwich. It was pretty expensive for not being anything amazing… I don’t think I’ll come back. The interior also isn’t very cozy or comfortable

Just wanted to update my review as I finally had the food here and it was delicious! I got a chocolate croissant and it was amazing. Plus, the staff here is always super friendly and upbeat. You can’t go wrong.

Just dessert. Palmier was great, not overly sweet, delicious. Yummy strawberry macaroon. Cute little café!

I ordered a buche de noel for Christmas from Belle Pastry this year. It was $ 52. It looks pretty bad. The buche is normally the centerpiece of our Christmas dinner, but I think we’ll just throw it away instead. We’re not even mad, just very sad. I noticed the edges were smeared as soon as I walked out the door, but didn’t know the true damage until we opened it up tonight. I hope some of the buches turned out ok for other people.

They trialed a salmon mille-feuille(or Napolean) this weekend, and it was outstanding! Like their quiche, it came with a side salad, and made for a filling lunch. Ever-so-flakey, it was layered with cream cheese, dill, and smoked salmon. I’ll be sorely disappointed if they don’t bring it back on a regular basis, but I could ease the heartache with their quiche and various pastries, which are consistently good. The staff is friendly and helpful and do not seem to mind my mangling of French words. For take-out, they carefully pack your goods, and if eating in, they’ll bring out your order to your table if it’s not too busy, which is a nice touch.

Well, I’m happy to report that the quality level has come up significantly. The gargantuan patio furniture that sent a shiver up your spine when you moved it is gone and basic café tables and chairs are in their place. The food is better. It does appear that they’re microwaving the eggs separately, but I still think the brioche rolls are getting some nuke time and that’s really changing the texture. The coffee remains unchanged(and excellent) and it does seem like the staff is better at most aspects than in my previous visit. All in all, they’ve brought the bar up significantly and I’m happy about that.

I’ll have to try more items before I settle on a final score. For now, I am giving it three stars. This place does more cakes than anything(in terms of dessert), particularly mousse-like cakes. Those aren’t usually our favorites so they have a(small) strike against them. Now, if you like mousse-filled layer cakes then you are in luck. Now I just got through telling you I don’t like moussey layered cakes. However, their strawberry cake is divine. Topping and filling is fresh, sweetened, whipped cream and strawberries. It was also covered in toasted slivered almonds. Cake is light and moist. Obviously moistened with something. Maybe strawberry juice because the strawberry flavor is pronounced without being fake. This is a very, very good rendition of a strawberry shortcake. Based on this cake, I would give this place 4 stars easily. Unfortunately, we didn’t stop with the cake and ordered one of our favorite treats the almond croissant. It was soggy and limp and the filling wasn’t impressive. It made me sad. However, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt because we ordered these items in the evening and that croissant was probably made that morning. They also bake their own bread and make sandwiches with them. So I must come back for those. Usually sandwiches made on fresh, baked gourmet bread are the bomb.

The pastry selections are amazing and staff is pretty nice. Baristas are hit and miss at times. I wish that they were all pretty consistent; some just make terribly weak espresso drinks. Their lunch menu is great and the location is great.

This little French café is located near the movie theater in the Bella Bottega in downtown Redmond. The owners are French-very French-so you will find authenticity here! They serve delicious Café D’arte espresso & their soy lattes are made with organic soy milk. They have a decent veggie sandwich, but the pastries are exceptional. The almond croissant is something to behold & the espresso flavoring in the tiramisu is absolutely divine. Also, the employees are friendlier & more personable here than most other cafes in Redmond.

Oui oui! This is my favorite bakery in Redmond. The atmosphere is nice and quaint. The restaurant has plenty of space(unlike the Bellevue location). The only downside is that they close at 7PM, so I would recommend getting here right after work! And even in the evening time their pastry case is full of delectable treats. Meals: I would recommend their lox breakfast sandwich. Salmon was perfect and the goat cheese was mild and it went together really well. We tried their OBrian this morning and it was good but I would recommend sans red bell pepper. It made the sandwich kind of wet. Treats: we’ve tried their mini cinnamon doughnut rolls which were the bomb. Also some favorites are the lemon cookie, lemon cake, and the tiramisu. This has become one of our favorite eateries in Redmond and we will be coming back frequently

I have tried the tiramisu, fruit tartlet, bread pudding and the almond croissant. All of them are awesome. The best of them for me would be the almond croissant.

Pastries are good, lunch i(sandwiches) are actually super tasty but they’re really meekly portioned for the prices offered. I absolutely love their ingredients but I would rather go to Potbelly to actually have some nutrients. That being said if you’re looking to order a lot, like sandwich and pastry/soup than I think you’d feel full. This mostly feels like a snack/tea time place. The interior is nice and accommodating. Also their bathroom is super clean and mother-friendly so I absolutely love this place’s atmosphere. Also the people there are very sweet and nice.

I was in the area and craving a mocha, so I finally got a chance to check out the Redmond Belle Pastry. I love macarons, so I maaaay have also given in to the temptation to get one of their raspberry mini macarons($ 1). The macaron was pretty good but I’ll skip it next time because it somehow felt more like a 50-cent macaron. The mocha(caffe d’arte) was quite good. I’m likely to get coffee here again!

I’ve been to this place many many times including the Bellevue location and the quality has always been good. Not today — I got a quiche with a side of salad. My salad was wilted and the lettuce was turning pink — YUK. See picture attached. Please take a look at your food before serving them to customers. The quiche was good though. I got it for take out, so no salad for me.

I’ve never had the food here but the coffee is quite good and the service is great. The pastries look amazing and the menu for lunch items sounds pretty good. They have outdoor seating which is nice and they take credit cards which is a plus!

Typically this place is great. I usually go for a dessert after sushi. Their french macrons are great and the chocolate moose cup is pretty tasty. However this time I went the chocolate moose cup was less than satisfactory. It, at the least was not fresh. the mouse had broken down and was watery liquid at the bottom. I wish i would have noticed this before walking out and going back to work. It was like eating melted whip cream :(Im not quite sure how old it might have been either since there was no dates on the package indicating when it was made or when it should be sold by. pretty disappointing really.

Food quality is from ok to poor prior to the staff getting involved. When they start ‘helping’ it goes straight downhill — like 6 pastries I ordered being tossed in a bag to their crushing doom? And that happened twice on the same takeout order, $ 60 of ‘food’ with value ruined by disrespect for product and customer. Aside from the food that dies of staff-abuse, their service is 25% courteous and 100% fail. They can’t understand simple instructions OR questions, not sure if they are high or just incompetent. Try asking them by phone when the trio of mousse will be available or to be sure the dressing container doesn’t go in the salad container. Try checking your order for accuracy. Then there is hygiene. If you don’t mind guys with mountain-man beards serving your food without hair-nets, how do you feel about the ubiquitous, greasy dust all over the high places in the whole restaurant? The same kind of gunk you have to clean off your hood fan filter, as if they only ever clean up to arm level and call it good. That stuff DOES waft down on eveything below — gross. I complained about it years ago and got a snotty response, they seem to think they are too precious for this world. All those who rate this crap well probably love the sub-Hostess donut junk sold at Top Pot.

Came here for lunch because sushiland next door was packed and I am so so glad I did. I realize it might not seem fair to compare a small bakery café to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant but they both serve a nice lunch under $ 10. I got the Epinard breakfast sandwich(spinach, egg, hollandaise, and cheese on a brioche bun) and some chouxettes to share. My friend got a quiche and a slice of tiramisu. Loved the buttery soft brioche bun. And the combination of egg, hollandaise, and cheese were kindly balanced with spinach(that’s healthy, right?) Chouxettes were eggy, almost custard-like, just lightly sweetened by the pearl sugar topping.(I thought it was better than the tiramisu…) Excellent lunch.

They have the best breakfast sandwich selection. Giving them 4 stars because their lattes are always a little too much on the bitter side. I will definitely continue visiting this place.

I wanted to find a coffee/pastry place where I could get some work done before the holiday and I found Belle Pastry. It is located in Redmond and was a short drive from where I was located. There is a large parking lot and the shop itself had eight or so tables in it for people. They offer free wi-fi which was nice for working. I ordered one of the breakfast sandwiches(ham and cheese one) and I wasn’t at all impressed. The cheese on it was so overwhelming that I ate what I could and threw the rest out. The coffee was pretty good though. This location doesn’t have as much as a selection as the Bellevue location, which I like much more. When I left I did get five different pastries to bring home. My go-to, a chocolate éclair, was okay but nothing special.

Two words: RASPBERRYECLAIR. Omg so gooooood. It looks narrow and small, but when you bite into that éclair all the wonderful not-too-sweet raspberry cream filling goozes out. Just heavenly. I devoured that thing in seconds. The éclair was not too sweet and come on, who doesn’t love raspberry pastries? Also the store manager Erika is a sweetheart and a cutie pie. :)

Wow… This place is incredible! I walked in after having pizza and I still wanted to get something from here! The pastry here does not real! So beautiful! I was so indecisive! I ordered Napolean here twice! I really loved it! I feel very addicted to it! They don’t just have pastry. They also sell drinks along with those yummy pastry. I love their ordering system. It’s on an iPhone. You can require to print receipt out or not. But, I chose to send the receipt to my email so I can save a tree!
