Everyone would want to tryout a restaurant which has a minimum 4 stars rating. Having said that I wanted to try out this Thai cuisine not only because it was closer to my residence but also because it had good ratings. But to my surprise the dishes I ordered had too much of coconut flavour due to which the spice level was suppressed so much that the dish seamed like a mild desert. Pros: Quick service Cons: Taste not up to the ratings.

I love this place! The food is authentic and delicious. Service is fast. Nice atmosphere too — classier than your usual hole-in-the-wall Asian restaurant. Everytime I go I think to myself: «Today’s the day, Jess. Today’s the day for being adventurous and trying something new and unknown and exciting!» But then I read the menu and get stuck on the description on Pad Kee Mao again. It just sounds so inviting! It’s suddenly, again, everything I want and why would I ever order something different? And then my boyfriend does the exact same thing and orders his favorite, Pad Thai, and I ask incredulously, «Again? Didn’t you say you were going to try something new this time?» Both dishes are wonderfully flavorful and fresh tasting. Protip: if you ask for level 5 spicy, you better know what you’re doing. I am usually crying a little when eating my level 5 spicy Pad Kee Mao. Half because it’s crazy spicy and half from joy of eating something so damn good.

Went to eat there for the first time, the place has a very nice atmosphere and the service is superb. I had the green curry noodle with spicy level 5, and I really like how much spices and chili they put into the dish. My friend had the Tom yum soup with the spicyness level of 30. The soup is really numbing hot but it was really tasty. It’s worth the wait for the good food.

Updating my review, and removing one star because the service while eating in has really declined. It takes longer than I would consider normal to order, get food, and then get the check afterwards. The food is still VERY good. Spicy and delicious. I still highly recommend eating the food from here, but if you’re in a rush, carry out might be the better option for you. I get a 4* pad Thai and it’s spicy and wonderful. I’ve also had the mango sticky rice and it’s also extremely delicious!

The owner is so sweet! She’s a one-woman show most of the time, so she’s very busy but the food is very good. There is a free salad with every dish and usually a complimentary side of Phad Thai as well. I haven’t tried very many of their specials but they have interesting sounding dishes all the time. Phad Thai is tried and true delicious. I highly recommend this place!

Food is always amazing! Great portion size and price! I always get the avacado curry with tofu! Great place for vegetarians almost every meal can be made meatless. The service isn’t always the best though. Not a large staff so they forget about your table on occasion. Other than mediocre service everything is great! Super cute and the food is consistently amazing! Also I wish that they had delivery but takeout is fine

Amazing food. It’s small and can get a little busy, but it’s almost always worth it. I highly recommend the dish«Bangkok Basil w/beef». It’s really good. If you’re adventurous, pair it with the basil beer they serve.

I’m torn here. I really want to give 4 stars, but the service from one of the employees/owners was absolutely dreadful. When I arrived for dinner, the first thing you see is an older man behind the counter that looks high on life and is extremely welcoming. Good first impression. As I was being sat from the gentleman, an older woman who was waiting tables, perhaps the older gentleman’s wife, scolded him for trying to seat me where he was planning, and pointed at a table near the front and said«you sit there!» to me. He smiled and laughed and guided me to where she wanted me sat. For the entire duration of my time there, the woman was exceedingly rude to everyone and seemed extremely disgusted by the older man’s presence. When I asked for more rice, she very aggressively said«ONEMORERICE!» while extending her finger to further indicate that I could only have one more cup of rice. To be clear, the amount of rice that I got with my green curry, which I paid for the rice, was about 3 – 4 tablespoons. A second serving was more like completing what a portion of rice should be when someone pays for it. In closing, the gentleman was extremely kind, the food was good, but it was so hard to have to sit through such an acidic attitude from the lady. Don’t make the place feel so hostile lol

Wasn’t my favorite pad thai. Went there for dinner/lunch, we were the only people in the restaurant and the lady barely came over to give us water, order food, and drop off food. Didn’t offer us anything else to drink nor refilled our water glasses. Pad Thai wasn’t very good and they didn’t even cook it according to what ingredients were listed on the menu.

Awesome food! I ordered a noodle plate and it was freaking amazing. Best Thai food on the east side. It’s a family run business and the lady was very nice. We also liked the egg roles, very crispy. Food is spicy by default. Even if you order it to be 1 star. So if u don’t know what you we doing, play it safe and order 1 or 2 stars only.

Great food, friendly service, and super fast! Definitely the best Thai place I’ve found on the Eastside.

The Thai food here was excellent. It is a smaller restaurant but it seems that they get a ton of takeout orders. We had a noodle dish, the avocado curry, garlic chicken and basil fried rice. Everything was delicious. The avocado curry was one of my favorites. There were huge pieces of avocado in the curry. We got everything 3 stars but the noodle dish seemed extremely spicy. Everything was delicious and wasn’t overly expensive. For 4 dishes it was about $ 50 so not overly expensive for the area. I would definitely recommend this place for some delicious Thai.

This review is purely based on the lunch menu. 3.5 stars(wish you could give half stars) I have come here multiple times during my lunch breaks and tried almost everything on the lunch menu. The only thing that makes this Thai place stand out vs. its competition is the price/amount ratio. If you are craving Pad Thai this is the perfect place to go. The amount they give you for $ 8 is equivalent to dinner portions that most other Thai restaurants give for almost doubled the price. I could talk about the other items on the menu, but if you have tried multiple Thai restaurants then all the menu items should fulfill your liking. Pineapple stir fry, Pad Kra Pow, etc. were all delicious and filling. This place is very small and most of the time busy during lunch hours. Also, you can tell from their utensils and cups that there may be a slight cleanliness issue(thank you for disposable chopsticks). Overall, it is a great place to go once in a while to fulfill your Thai cravings during lunch. At worst, it will be an average-tasting meal at a cheap lunch price.

3.5 stars Important to note — this restaurant is located in a strip mall and is VERY small on the inside. You’ll more than likely have to wait for a table and when you get one,(in some cases) you’ll be very close to your neighbor. That being said, more often than not — it’s worth the wait. Spoiler alert — I normally prefer to get my food to-go here… more on that later. The food itself is pretty tasty though I find when you eat in your portions are a little smaller(hence the preference of the to-go order). When two of us dine in we often order more than two things. When we get it to-go there is enough for leftovers when we just order two things. The curries and the noodle dishes I have tried have not disappointed me in the slightest. The noodles are not overly sauced or sweet which can ruin a dish for me very easily. They’ve nailed the spiciness as well. My husband like to go with«authentic hot» and normally ends the meal with a runny nose. This is a sure sign they’ve hit the nail on the head with the spice level. In case you’re wondering, I normally stick with a three on the spice level which at some places can mean no spice at all and some cases means too much spice. BB even gets my three star right every time. While the meat in the dishes is good — some days you get a ton of it and some days you get hardly any. The folks working are very nice and accommodating — we have had nothing but good service whether we’re dining in or picking up a to-go order.

The scary face on my take out last time, wasn’t a scary face at all. Just an employee practicing their drawing skills. WEAREHAOPYTHEFOODWASDELICIOUS !!!

My husband brought home food from this restaurant one night and it really hit the spot. Our last to go Thai experience was a bit meh so we were really happy to find a good spot where we can get decent Thai takeout. My husband brought home green avocado curry, tom yum soup(the one without the coconut), and pad thai. The green curry was truly green this time(unlike the last place) and we loved the addition of avocado. This makes for a rich dish in combination with the coconut so be aware of that. I’m not a huge fan of pad thai normally, but this version was authentic. You could taste the fish sauce and tamarind, and it came with a good complement of toppings. This place is authentic so if you order spicy food, you get spicy food! My husband asked for a 3 on the tom yum and it was very spicy. Maybe they made a mistake and gave him a 5.(it was delicious exactly the way it was).

A little hidden gem! This little spot is so fun. I love when a place surprises me. And this place definitely did! Been here several times already and they were all for lunch. Their lunch specials are great. All under $ 8 and comes out pretty fast. You get soup and salad with your lunch which is pretty good. That peanut sauce though! You can put peanut sauce on anything and it will taste great! Few notable dishes: Pad Thai ~ delish! Crab fried rice ~ not lunch special but it’s still pretty delicious. Ginger chicken/Basil chicken ~ Yumm! Papaya salad ~ meh! I’ve had way better. Khao soi: it’s good but hard to eat. Overall, I do enjoy coming here. I like majority of their food. I don’t need to fuss over or flag down the waiter for anything. It is a small place. They can’t ignore you even if they try! Speed is great when you don’t have time to linger around for lunch! Heat is pretty good too. Unlike Seattle, east side doesn’t offer plethora of Thai restaurants that are decent, reasonable and fast. Guess you’ll find me here again!!!

Amazing food, I really like the satay and chicken basil dish. Good music, quirky decorations, and decent service. It’s not that expensive, and perfect for a date night out. I also suggest taking a stroll through marymoor park before hand, get your appetite ready for good grub.

We went here for lunch on a Saturday. The ambiance is really nice and the servers very friendly. We started off with the fresh rolls with tofu. They were fresh and flavorful. The peanut sauce was nice too. I had the Green Curry Noodles with chicken while my wife got the veggie Pad Thai. Both were extremely delicious, cooked perfectly with generous proportions of chicken/veggies. Overall the food was spectacular albeit a little pricey for the portions. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and gladly come back when I’m in the neighborhood.

Typical Thai restaurant. Great food presentation, pretty good curry, and longer than usual wait time. I got the green curry, which comes with a scoop of rice with a generous portion of meat. I think my mates got the pad sew, which looked really good. Green salad is like 3 leaves of lettuce with a mean peanut sauce. Green Curry: sweet, tangy, extremely flavorful. Chicken was tender, peppers were crunchy and had their flavor too. Served piping hot and awesome. Price: lunch specials make it worth it($ 7.95).
