Unfortunately the vanilla was very plain and tasted more just like soft ice with no vanilla flavor. I poured it anyway because I was going to get a fresh fruit topping but ended up giving it back since there were old mushy strawberries and kiwis and it all looked old. No fresh fruit at all. Interesting store but won’t be back. Wanted to try a cookie as a topping too but those were hard as a rock. Too bad.

Love this place! The cookies are great. A little pricey but everyone loves them. I love that it is always Christmas there year around. Buy a dozen cookies and get one free! Yum!

Best cookies on the planet! Oh man, I can’t even believe it! I’ll never go anywhere else again! We were being lazy and went to a closer place that’s well known in Redding. It was literally junk. I threw it out after two bites, was stale and dry. Nothing like Cookies and Yogurt!!!

Impeccable customer service!!! I called and asked for 2 dozen cookies for a kindergarten class and an extra dozen for the office in 20 mins. I also asked if they could bring it out for me as I had my 2 year old in the car and it was pouring rain. Not only did they get the cookies done in less than 20 mins, they also brought it out to my car in the pouring rain with no complaints! I was so appreciative! And obviously their cookies were loved by all!

Fantastic!!! The atmosphere is fantastic, you are greeted by a beautiful display of cookies and Christmas decorations everywhere! I could have spent all day looking at all the decorations they had. The cookies are delicious, I had the lemon, it was so soft with a little sugar crunch on top yummy. I would consider the cookies very inexpensive for the quality of cookie you get! Next time I’m in Redding I will be back to try more of the cookies, they had alot of favors to choose from! I’m not a fro yo fan but I will admit they had a lot of favors and they had some that I would probably enjoy, lots of toppings to choose from as well.

I was in there last week on Thursday all excited to try the caramel apple yogurt during their half off yogurt day and Christmas open house. My daughter, grandson & I were looking at the beautiful trees and tables decorated and everything was 20% off so there were a few gingerbread men things I was considering but wanted to look thru the whole store first. We got to a table that had about 10 – 12 snow globes, nutcrackers & statues. My daughter picked up a snow globe to show my grandson. Then she saw one with Joseph, Mary & Jesus when she picked it up it had been tethered to the table because it had a light and instead of putting in a battery like the globe is set up to do they put some sort of battery that you plug in. Because of this it fell and the glass broke. The young man who worked there came over and asked if it broke? We said we were so sorry but yes it had, we had no idea it was stuck to the table. He said it’s ok don’t worry about it. Then went to get the owner. We stayed where we were and the owner walked up, reached over us and pulled the price tag off the broken glass and says I guess I’ll split it with you. When I looked over to see the price tag it read $ 59.99!!! A woman came over(another owner it seamed) to see which piece broke. When he went to pick it up he dropped it because of it being stuck to the table. We said that is what happened to us. He ignored the comment and went to the register to ring up the broken globe. My daughter said we were just looking at it when he responded that snow globes were to be looked at not touched. He was very rude and nasty which was uncalled for. We were in total shock so we were doing whatever he told us to do. The lady asked my daughter if she wanted the broken globe and she said yes if I had to pay for it I will take it. The lady says well I am sorry(kinda snotty) my daughter says well I will never come here again. The lady says with almost venom«I said I am sorry». We left. I have several problems with this whole thing. #1Why would you make your customer purchase a item that broke when you yourself dropped it under the same situation. #2The rudeness/bullying that the owners used to make us pay for an item that he was still making money off of and he probably has insurance for such accidents. #3that he thinks $ 30 is all we would have ever spent there or given him in business. We will never go there again because of the rudeness. That is the thing that bothers me the most!!! #4how are you suppose to check the price, make the snow fall or turn the song on if you only look at the snow globe but don’t touch it? #5There also were no signs that said that things were not to be touched, they were tethered down or «you break it you bought it». They just bullied us into paying. #6They also didn’t give us the 20% off before he cut it in half. He was so arrogant like he was doing us a favor. As I said we have been going there for many years since they were owned by the last guy. The cookies aren’t as good as they used to be but loved the Christmas stuff! I will never go in there again and will never recommend it to anyone else. He has lost way more than the $ 30 he got that day. The attitude and bulling were unnecessary, he has been rude before but never to this level. I left one star because it wouldn’t let me leave none

Not your typical fro-yo shop! Plenty of flavors, plus those amazing cookies. We visited here on our return from Oregon. Nicest staff member Colin was making cookies right then and there.(And he receives Good Samaritan award for finding and returning an important item we left at the shop). There’s an unexpected Christmas and gift boutique inside the shop. Fun stuff. Go get yourself some frozen yogurt, and pickup a platter of cookies for a friend.

We really like that this place charges you by weight rather than by yogurt size! Staff is always friendly, seems like theres always fresh ingredients, and the shop is always clean.

This place. Is. Amazing. Walked in to Christmas in July. Upside-down Christmas trees, ornaments, and Gandalf cookie jars on the left, boysenberry, cake batter, and dole orange froyo on the right. Also amazing selection of cookies. I picked the lemon cookie over the mexican wedding teacake(shortbread with walnuts and cinnamon and brown sugar) cookie and it is THE. BEST. LEMON. COOKIE. EVER. go eat for yourself.

Awesome yogurt, clean, still pay based on weight(YAY), friendly, awesome topping selections. Hands down the best yogurt shop in redding. And you can play the eye spy game for hours — it’s like being in an eye spy book.

I really love their cookies and I will say that they do have the best froyo in town. BUT, when I went in, I couldnt get the flavor of yogurt I wanted because they were cleaning the machine… It was 5pm. I was so bummed! It would be beneficial to clean the machines at closing or before they open! to say the least i was disappointed. Dont get your hopes up for a specific flavor, because you will never know when their machines will be out of order.

I love the Caramel Apple frozen yogurt! The trees with all the ornaments kept me in the shop eating my yogurt. I could have stayed all day! I will be back to see what they add for Christmas!

You can’t go wrong. Lots of flavors for yogurt and DELICIOUS cookies. Can’t decide between the two? Have some cookies on top. The toppings bar has a ton of options so you can really create something amazing. Yogurt was super creamy and was the perfect end to our evening. Definitely recommend.

Didn’t care for the frozen yogurt. It was overpriced, grainy, and bland. When I was there, the shop itself was in the middle of an identity crisis. Do they sell sweets or knick knacks? Just seems like they are taking on too much.

Since the switch from The Cookie Jar to Cookies and Yogurt, I have become a regular customer. The reason I come here as opposed to other fro-yo shops is the cookies that I get to add to my yogurt. I have not had one cookie of theirs that I wasn’t pleased with. My husband likes this place too, but wishes they had more fruity flavors. This shop is always clean, and it’s fun with all the Christmas décor year-round. I’d probably buy their boutique items if they weren’t so pricey.

Ok, so I walk into the place and the aroma that hits your nose sensors makes your mouth instantly watering! I mean, this place smells like Grandmas home baking … I made a video about the place at
I got so excited about this place, how can you not give it a five?

New location is next to Raley’s and near Yama Sushi, but now they have self-serve frozen yogurt along with their delicious cookies. Their big sign outside says«Cookies and Yogurt» instead of «The Cookie Jar» so I don’t know what to call it just yet. They have a lot of good flavors to choose from including Heath Bar crunch, Yellow Cake Batter, Dulce de Leche and Strawberry Tart. Best part is that they offer both mochi and little pieces of their various cookies as toppings. They also have a nice variety of other toppings too, but who cares about those when mochi is around. Plus, the frozen yogurt is one of the cheapest in town at 39 cents per ounce. They still sell whole cookies up front separately, offering multiple kinds of cookies like chocolate chip, frosted sugar, coconut sugar, molasses, snickerdoodle, Russian tea cake, and more. Beware, however, you may experience difficulty choosing between their whole cookies and frozen yogurt. Perhaps it is wise to just get both. I don’t know. Let your thighs decide.
