Sad to say that it looks like this place is now out of business.

*UPDATE: I meant to post this a while back. They changed their crust and I don’t think it was as good as the kind they bought prior. I think this new crust is cheaper — and it’s good, not great. Their sauce is still really good. but had to demote them by a star…

Easily the best Steak and Cheese in this little ‘burb. Multiple occasions the princess and I have stopped by for ice cream(which the offer via another enter acne just outside), but we ventured forth and picked up some grub to precede the dessert. We were not disappointed. Sadly, my 4 stars are based purely on that offering, but given the number of joints starring their meat-and-cheese offerings, it’s a good reason to vote them front and center. Crispy outside, soft inside bread. Dripping with greasy goodness, masses of shredded steak glued together with cheese. Peppers and onions, should that be your desire, are Intricately woven into this mass sending your taste buds on a journey of diet destroying euphoria. It’s safe to say I dig this shop. It’s even safer to say you will as well.

The best meatball sub anywhere. If you can’t get a seat inside, grab a seat outside. if those are full, grab some napkins and eat it standing in the parking lot. Plus there’s an ice cream stand for desert. What the hell else do you need? They’ve gone down a notch since Lou passed, but still the best around.

Pulled in for the pastrami, but apparently not impressive and«too fatty». I loved my tuna salad with home made pita– yum! So we had one happy camper and one eh camper.

Gregory’s makes decent pizza and pretty good subs. It’s nothing spectacular, but if you’re looking for something to get you by for the night, it’s not a bad idea. The problem might be in the ingredients, maybe they aren’t using high enough quality ingredients. Maybe Greg should check into that. On a pretty positive note, we’ve had delivery from there before and it was very, very, fast!

best pizza in town by far! their meatballs are also insanely good! one problem though… if you call ahead, give them plenty of time before you pick it up. they are slow with phone orders… although they are busy most of the time.

I love Gregory’s! Their meatballs are delicious!(I also always ask for extra sauce.) The owner is super friendly, the food is great, and the employees are very nice. Can’t go wrong eating here.

I love Gregory’s pizza. I have tried every pizza place in Reading, and Gregory’s is by FAR the best. I LOVENY style pizza, and this is exactly what Gregory has. Thin, soft crust that allows you to fold over the pizza slice. Perfect amount amount of oil, cheese, and sauce. The crust is delicious, a tiny bit crispy on the outside, and soft and doughy in the middle. The only reason I didn’t give them a 5 is because most of the time when they deliver, the pizza isn’t very hot. Plus, they don’t add a ton of pepperoni to their pizzas and I’d prefer a bit more… but other than that, Gregory’s pizza is fantastic, and I wouldn’t order anywhere else!

We’ve gotten ice cream from here in the past and were big fans(chocolate with nuts and a mint chocolate chip yum!) so decided to try their pizza. We ordered on a Fri nite at about 730 and were told it’d be an hour wait — what can you expect on a Fri at that time? An hour and a few minutes later they showed up. The delivery guy didn’t have a pen so we could tip on our card. a little weird to me, wouldn’t he want all the tips he could get? But the pizza was still nice and hot and we loved it! I got cheese on my half and bf got pepperoni and sausage. He said it’s his fav pizza in the area so far. It’s a little flat for me(I’m a fan of the doughier pizza) but still had a great flavor and would definitely order again! Highly recommend!

Their ice cream is good, altho, sometimes too mushy. The girls are nice that serve you(a plus). I’ve had pizza there once, but it wasn’t mind-blowing enough to remember. I really have never wanted ice cream delivered, so it’s not a big selling point, but it does have a decent size parking lot and it’s kinda convenient.

GREGORY’s is the best place on the planet. I travel all the way there from sacramento to get the infamous Steak Bomb. There is no place that even comes close to the quality of food from one end of the country to the other…

I know this place has ‘made it’ into my repetoire and heart when I compare every other deli sandwich I have to the deli at Gregory’s. I have been stopping in here weekly on my way to grab a quick deli sandwich to go for a few months now, and the meat and other ingredients never fail to satisfy and actually impress! It’s just quality meat. My favorites are the roast beef and the turkey. And their cheese(not sure why) adds a whole other dimension of YUM to the sandwich. The bread is fresh, the price is right… just can’t say enough good things about this place.

I love Gregory’s! We live down the street and it has been a haunt since childhood. My parents and grandparents remember when it was there when they moved to town, and I like that it has managed to maintain its staying power. The pizza is good and they are big! The subs are also pretty cheap and are really stuffed. Prices are reasonable and you really never feel like you are getting robbed. It has a simple look, that of a local family-run business that just concentrates more on the food being good and the place being clean than on fancy décor. They have added some decently large tables if you want to eat-in, and there is outdoor seating along the side too. The owners are often there, and they are great people, supportive of the local community schools and programs and willing to chat. Now that they took over the ice cream place next door it really is the perfect mom-and-pop place. Richardson’s ice cream is the best, and they have so many options! They deliver the pizza and the ice cream, and they also have incredibly reasonable prices. Please check it out before you head to Domino’s or Dairy Queen next time.

Gregory’s is a great hidden spot on Rt 28 in Reading(near Doyton’s). First time we stopped in to try a few slices and were very surprised… great sauce, quality cheese and big slices. The owner was there and he was super friendly and chatted us up about the Red Sox who were at the time playing on the TV in the corner. Second time around we tried their meatball sub and veal parm dinner. Portions are generous to say the least and the meatballs are to die for. I would not hesitate to have them cater an event. Delivery service is good and the food is reasonably priced! Ice cream is a bonus :)
