MADEINTHEUSA! I first became aware of these glasses when as a teen and went to the Air Shows at a South Weymouth Naval Air station. There was a kiosk there and they had the coolest sunglasses-all the pilots had them– and we all had to have a pair of aviators, too. I had mine for several years, as did my siblings, and we really beat on them. I remember losing them by putting them down at a country fair and leaving them there when I was making a purchase. I went back as soon as I realized I left them but someone else thought they were cool, too. So disappointing! I didn’t know how to find them and so wore Ray Bans from then on… until last year. One year ago, there were signs all over saying there was a sale at their factory store– wait, this company is still around??. I couldn’t wait and tried on everything they had and walked out with three pairs, two different colored aviators and the Raptors, which are now my favorite. The Raptors fit like a glove and have a little extra«wrap» which give me a little more protection from the sun(I am very light-sensitive). They are lightweight and the Raptors have the frames with the spring hinge but they don’t feel loose at all. The salesman told me that I could come anytime during business hours and they would adjust them and if I broke any of the joints for the life of the glasses they would replace the glasses with a new pair. He said the Raptors were a favorite of the local police officers as well. They came with a really cool tool kit(all three pairs), a cleaning cloth and a case(hard cases for the aviators and soft leather one for the Raptors). And the price was a steal! Additionally, I learned that they still support the military by supplying alternative eye wear to the«US Army, Navy and Allied Forces worldwide.» WOW! ( ) I can’t tell you that they will look good on you(but they probably will) but I can say you will get quality and value and they’re guaranteed. If you’re considering owning a pair of Randolphs, I hope this review helps you.
