Nekter Juice Bar

Nasty banana in my acai bowl! Paid almost $ 8 and got a rotting banana!!!
The people greeted you when you walk in but do they honestly believe that people will want to eat this let alone come back in the future? It doesn’t even look appetizing!

Had a not so great experience at the Laguna Niguel location a few days ago and I was just by myself. Today I brought in 3 crazy teenage girls with me to this location and all the employees were so patient with all their questions and made all we ordered in a very timely manner. Thanks for changing my mind on the quality of service you guys value!

I came in a few times before deciding to write a review. Today was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I come for the drinks, not the service. Guy at register was talking to a guest who came in before me the entire time he was taking my order. So unbelievably rude. I believe she was a regular– SO… good for them for establishing a consistency with guests but don’t snub those of us that only get to come every now and then. There’s a time and place to socialize and it’s not in front of your other guests! Thumbs down.

Love this place. Super healthy, as a vegan I personally love coming to this place before school for breakfast. The Açai bowls are fantastic. They have a really nice detox plan that is decent price.

I think this is a great place to start living a healthy lifestyle and/​or if you just need a 3 – 5 day cleanse or a detox. They have a medium sized great menu and they have a large assortment of juice cleanses all ready to go. No preparation necessary, that’s what I love! No buying the fruit and vegetables then coming home to juice it up. You just but it already prepared! That’s what I love about this place!

What a poorly run business with kids that are more interested in talking to their co-​workers than actually serving their customers. They completely butchered our order. What a shame.

The pumpkin smoothie was delicious. I highly recommend giving it a swirl.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. I order the same drink every time. The Detox over ice. And put a ton of cayenne pepper in it. It’s tasty and always consistent. Even when it’s busy it doesn’t take that long. Last time I went I got my drink before someone else that had been waiting and I could tell she was annoyed that they hadn’t even started her drink yet. But that’s not my problem.

I love this place! i always get the toxin flush it’s really good, my daughter had the tropical cooler which she loved I was surprised since she usually won’t drink any green juices. Also they employees are really nice!

I personally love Nekter, A LOT! They have very great employees that work fast to get you exactly what you want, the Acai bowls are amazing, they have HUGE bowls and they load them till the top, a little pricey but what you pay for is so worth it, definitely recommend this place!!!

Service was not pleasant & when the girl made my drink order wrong, She was completely careless & didn’t offer to remake it. The manager was in the back & I wasn’t in the mood to force someone to remake my 9.50 drink order. Ridiculous.
Way too much foam. Very disappointed.

This place is filthy. I don’t know how they don’t get shut down by the health department.
Filthy machines, floors, rags, counter tops. Are people who spend money here blind?
Secondly, they are sloooow!!!
Thirdly, what’s with the chip on the shoulder? Arrogant 16 year olds running the place.
Looking forward to seeing this place close.

This Nekter in RSM is just as wonderful as my favorite one in Laguna Niguel.
We moved from Northern Virginia to the Laguna Niguel area about 6 months ago and we have nothing like Nektar there, so we were at Nektar’s every other day enjoying different smoothies and juices. It was always amazing and the customer service was even better.
When we moved to RSM, I was concerned that the Nekter’s wouldn’t be as good. The staff was super friendly and inviting. The drinks were just as amazing.
As an added bonus, we always used to get a «made up» pb&j smoothie that my son loves at the Laguna Niguel location. It’s not on the menu. Here, at RSM, they went out of their way to make it the same, and it came out even better. :-)
Try a pb&j smoothie next time you go there-it’s the best.

The juice is the standard as the rest of the nektars, so no complaints there.
The only thing that knocked them down two stars is that the floor and front door was pretty dirty. I opened the front door with my hip, it was pretty gross.

I went there for breakfast after a run and had the acai banana berry bowl. It was very good but the frozen aspect of it was initially a surprise. The staff was perfunctory and indifferent, which seems to be a common theme for reviews of this location.

I had a craving for my typical smoothie one cloudy afternoon. Being I was new to the area juice bars are spread out further then the 405 freeway.
To the Unilocal app I go in search of a juice place, and that’s when I found this place and it was only about half a mile or so away and in the same center as I needed to shop at too. This must be my lucky day I thought to myself as I walked out my door.
Getting here was easy, finding this place was not! The directions on the Unilocal app are correct along with Google maps but what the directions do not tell you is it’s behind the major shopping area. When entering the shopping plaza turn left, pass the starbucks and go straight back till you see Burger King turn left and it will be on your right side by Yogurtland facing the street.
Walking in I was not greeted but rather annoyed by how dirty this place was. The girls behind the counter were more into looking at their phones (probably taking work «selfie») one of the girls looked up and saw me. Proceeded to say hi but out of necessity. I asked for a little bit of time as I looked over their menu just in case I wanted something different from my usual. Fine by them as they went back to their phones and chatting with each other and this time a male co-​worker came out and decided to join in on the chat fest. Wanting to get out of there ASAP I went up to the cash register and said «I’m ready». The blonde girl who was the cashier turned and gave me an annoying glance popped her gum inside her mouth and asked what would I like.
Ordered a 24oz Tropical Cooler smoothie for $ 6.75. Yes, I know that’s a little steep for a smoothie but that was my lunch! The girl took my payment and said it will be ready shortly.
While waiting I decided to look at their cold pressed juices they had in the refrigerator along with their snacks. Another girl comes in swoops in front of me and grabs all the juices that were in the case. Goes up to the cashier and you would probably think they were long lost friends by the way they chatted. (The *****) sorry Unilocalers but that was what I was thinking!
Finally, my smoothie was ready, thanked the girl who made it and left.
Got into my car took one sip and blah! What the heck, this was terrible half the fruit was not blended and was tart. Not to mention it was sort of on the warm side. I tried my best to drink it but how could you when you’re only sucking air and a little bit of the smoothie at the same time.
Yes, I should have went back demanded my money and talked to the manager but you know what they wouldn’t care! I love Nekter Juice bar the Long Beach location this location really needs to get their act together!

Im starting off this review in the middle… Three stars. We will see where it ends up.
I really want to love this place. I mean, I have a juicer sitting on my counter in the kitchen… and I would much rather pay an arm and a leg for a 16 oz vegetable drink… but I just dont think I will anymore.
I have only ordered two different drinks in the many times I have been to this Nekter. The Greenie, and The Glow. My drinks have never, ever tasted the same. My Greenie this morning tasted like it had walnuts in it… and just not right. There is no consistency between visits.
The staff at this location are all very young, which is fine… but they just do not have customer service skills. No small talk, they always seem annoyed to have to take your order… its really not a pleasant experience.
Also, I personally think they should get some blinds in the windows. It is so incredibly hot in there, early in the day. I am not sure what it is like later, as I always go in the morning. The music is always REALLY loud. Like, you dont even want to hear your customers orders loud.
I just feel like I would rather pull out my juicer at home and make some juice in peace rather than feel like Im putting someone out by ordering a juice at Nekter… where I sweat and cant even hear myself think.
I will probably try another location, but I wont be back to this one. And I removed one star somewhere in the middle of my review… so we are down to two.

My 4^th time to this location.
The GOOD: They are FAST. Consistently shorter wait time than other locations.
The BAD: you CAN’T call ahead and order.
They don’t take 15% off for checking in like all the other nekters I’ve frequented.
Juice is delicious.

It’s Nekter. The drinks are good, though somewhat inconsistent in taste. but that’s what happens when you work with people. I’m not sure about the health hype it seems to cause in people, especially with the Grab N Go stuff. But I would stay away from that anyways– I used a coupon for GNG juice once and it was awful. I’ll just stick to my Sublime.
4 stars (3.5?) heavily influenced by the seating in here, which is basically nonexistent. Staff is also obviously not instructed to be happy or wear smiles, but I guess why would you need to positively interact with customers when it’s actually impossible to over the sound of the juicers?

— The greenie (parsley, spincah, kale, celery, cucumber, lemon, and apple) $ 4.75 for 16oz — no added sugar. very healthy and i can really taste the veggie in my drink. this drink may not for everyone but its definitely for me.
Service:
— its your typical fast food service. order your drink, choose your size, pay, wait for your drink, and off you go.
Price:
— average for juice stores. $ 3 for kids, $ 4.75 for 16 oz, $ 6.75 for 24oz, and $ 8.75 for 32oz.
— they have smoothie and acai bowl too for about the same price.
