We loved the fresh, delicious sushi here. Best service I’ve ever had in a sushi bar, they are quick! Will come again.

Best sushi around, my favorite roll I order every single time is the fantastic rainbow roll, I love that that roll! Try the Isabella fresh, the boy friend and girl friend. I try to try at least one new roll every time I go but it’s so hard to resist the ones I mentioned here. The coolest thing too is that they give you free food on the house like this salad with delicious dressing… but my absolute fave are these Deep fried chilies with there special sauce mmmmm the best!

Place is so good!!! I love it here, although they need to be asked for water refills not really on top of it, service is okay, but the food is really good! If you don’t care about service give this place a try!

I frequent here often. Sushi is fresh, a little pricey and service can be slow, but the food is delicious. My favorite is the Boyfriend Roll and Oishi Roll.

This place is bomb! I got the volcano roll and let me say yummmy the different flavors are sooo good and not to spicy at all. The service was good but we went during lunch hour so it was kinda busy and our meal did take some time but they gave us complementary japanese peppers which are delicious. The double double rolls are also really good! Will definitely come back!

The best sushi in town, the place is relatively small but the food is delicious. I recommend sitting at the sushi bar, they always give you complimentary appetizers!

Really really like this place. Been here more than once and I loved the food every time. The portions are HUGE, even the«large» beer was enough for two. Maybe I’m a fatty but I liked it. Sashimi salad really is everything I read in other reviews. Great place. Highly recommended.

Randomly stopped in. Sat next to a guy that told us everything he ordered and raved about it… ordered the same items. I was very pleased with the quality, the flavors/sauces they use, and how quick it came. The only reason I knocked 1 star is because when I ordered the green tea tempura ice cream, they came back a few minutes later to say they were out… I was so looking for to that and it was such a let down to have not been informed right away that they were out… Oh well, next time.

This is probably my new sushi spot! Everyone here was so nice! Very quick and super attentive! The waiters helped feed into my spicy mayo addiction and kept it coming! The sushi was delicious and huge for the amount you pay! The sushi chefs also gave us a free appetizer on the house which were tempura fried peppers! They also cracked a joke on us. He gave us wasabi balls and my friend and I just looked at each other and we all laughed when it was really green tea ice cream! I can’t wait to come back again!!!

Great service. Good sushi. Looks like a fast food sushi place but was very pleasantly surprised. White ginger which is always a good sign.(Cheap places have pink ginger with coloring dyes) Sushi was very fresh. Got salmon avocado and spicy salmon avocado roll. Both good. Not amazing but very fresh which is all I can ask for. They have a bunch of baked rolls which aren’t bad.

Every time I go here i order the sushi and sashimi platter lunch $ 15 comes with 4 pieces sushi 6 pieces sashimi, miso soup, salad and shrimp roll instead of cali roll. The quality of food here is really good. The service was good too. Welcoming and friendly staff. They also have us jalapeño tempura on the house! Which was delicious. This is my #1 non-ayce sushi place!

3.5 stars! Came here for lunch today with my boyfriend because I was craving a bento box realll bad. It is located in a small area next to Señor Baja and is directly across from In N Out. The restaurant is small, yet quaint. One half of the restaurant is a sushi bar & bar seating and the other half is normal dine-in seating with tables & chairs. There were a lot of other people there during their lunch break from work as well so it was a little busy(we arrived around noon). I ordered the shrimp teriyaki lunch($ 11.95) and my boyfriend ordered the chicken teriyaki lunch($ 9.95). The box comes with vegetable tempura & sauce(2 sweet potato, 2 cucumber, and 2 onion), 4 California rolls, miso soup, salad, and rice. The portions were generous — definitely enough for 1 person! Everything was so fresh and hit the spot. The reason it lost 1.5 stars was because our wait was kind of long and our server had forgotten our miso soup(we eventually had to ask for it from another server). Another reason it gets 3.5 stars is because I’m not sure I would come back again even though the food was enjoyable. A little pricey, but the food was great. I would have to try other restaurants and compare bento boxes to see if this place gets a better review because I really want to love this restaurant!

On the positive side of things, the food was good. Which is why I gave this review 2 stars instead of one. As soon as we walked in the bar had plates from a previous customer that seemed to be sitting there a while. Waiters avoided looking anyone in the eye when it got busy. When we sat down, the intervals from our drink order, to the appetizer to ordering entrees took a very long time. I ordered the philly roll, the rest of my party ordered entrees. After our order was made, it seemed like the sushi chef was gone, the waiters/workers were no where to be found. After sometime, new customers came, and looked around for staff to assist them. Finally we see the sushi chef and I receive my order. I wanted to wait for everyone to get their food and ended up waiting almost 15 min. w/out acknowledgement. More customers come in, and by this time the dirty plates are still sitting there, seems like 30min has gone by and they still have not tended to it. There were 2 waiters, who were nice, but took long intervals of ignoring customers during service. They seemed stressed. The guy was nice but the female working there looked annoyed and mad. For such a small establishment they could hardly keep up with the dinner rush. When the entrees were finally delivered, we noticed they didn’t give rice. Again, it took us a while to get the waiters attention, when they realized they forgot the rice, I took another 10min to get it, by that time the entrees were half eaten. The food is great, and can only say they always over cook their steak teriyaki entrée, but the service is absolutely in need of work. The quickest thing they did was bring the check and pick up the check! This is my second time encountering this type of service from this place, and because it happened again I’m writing this review and sadly i will not be returning unless they improve this area of their business.

I think based on one visit that 3.5 stars is appropriate, being a Sunday could be part of my first impression, but overall quality of the fish is also being evaluated in this review. My gal and I sat at the sushi bar, and while we were greeted, one chef was oddly silent. I don’t go to socialize typically, but this was a tad different than most places. Anyhow, our server was nice and efficient. She pointed out specials and answered my question regarding popular rolls. Her suggestion for the Fantastic Rainbow Roll was dead on, and I felt it lived up to its name. Definitely a keeper. The Hot Night Roll sounded better than it tasted, however. I thought the pickled onions overwhelmed the presentation and flavor(see photo), and I would not order it again. We also tried some sushi: peppered salmon, mackerel and Ono. The latter two were good, but my gal thought the salmon tasted old. While seared, it wasn’t the firmest texture. I do enjoy a la carte sushi bars, and maybe a second chance is required for a bigger cross section, but leaving the parking lot proved quite a challenge. While not the fault of the establishment, be forewarned that I had to take the freeway to Baseline and backtrack to Victoria Gardens. Wrong timing I suppose.
