Farmer Boys

The Farmer’s Burger is simply the best burger I’ve ever tasted. I go to this location 2 – 3 times a month and I’m never dissapointed. Even though the combo is close to $ 11 now, I’d easily pay $ 15 for the Farmer’s Burger combo. Its Burger Heaven.

The food is very good and the customer service is even better! Michael was very friendly and polite and ready to service his customers. His customer service will keep us coming back!

Hopefully this was just an off day for them… I didn’t realize that I haven’t typed a review yet. This was about two weeks ago on a Friday night. Our party of 7 was going to go across the street to Islands but there was a 30 minute wait so we went to Farmer Boys. Customer service isn’t all that great. We walked in and did get greeted but it seemed super fake. We started ordering and in their defense some of our orders were a little tricky but the lady did repeat them back to me correctly, so I wasn’t worried. Food comes, 3 of our orders end up being wrong, and one ends up being incomplete. I ordered a veggie burger and was given a real beef patty. I asked the lady if she was sure it was a veggie burger and she assured me was a vegetarian burger, not even taking a second look at what she handed me. Thank God I didn’t take a bite because she finally realized that it wasn’t a veggie patty. The whole thing was just a mess, so many of our group’s orders were wrong. The food wasn’t that great either. We should have just waited the 30 minutes to eat at Islands.

Love the food, but today at 3:22 it took 11 mins for one cheeseburger. That’s it, just one cheeseburger. It also arrived not warm, so I’m guessing it was sitting somewhere for most of that time. This is not the first time this has happened at this location. Why is this location sub par when it comes to service than the other locations? The people and service at the haven location is so much better. Why? I don’t get it. I love the food, and this is the closest location to me, but they disappoint me often (not always, but often.)

The very first time I had a meal at this location it was fabulous! The burger was fresh, warm and tasty with the charbroiled flavor. Since then, I have eaten other meals at FB, one in Irwindale and the other in Fontana. Sorry to say that after my very good first experience, every meal after that has been a huge disappointment. For example:
Rancho: My burger was so burnt, it looked like a hockey puck. Last night at this location I ordered one burger and one burger combo. I was asked if I’d like to mix and match my fries with onion rings or zucchini. I chose rings and fries. First of all the portion was very small. There were two super greasy rings and about eight fries. In addition to this, all the food was cold. So their statement that their food is fresh to order, is false advertising. The reason why I know this, is because the order only took a few minutes, whereas, in the past, the drive thru usually took about 10 minutes.
Fontana: I asked for my burger without onions and guess what, it had onions. So I asked the drive thru gal to correct my order and they did alright. The only problem is that the cook just scraped the onions off my original burger. So the end result was, my burger still had the onion smell and taste on it. This time the burger was hot but the fires were cold.
Irwindale: I’ver eaten here two times, once for breakfast and the other for lunch. The breakfast was so so. After looking at my toast, I realized that they only put a pat of butter which only covered about 1% of the bread. Come on really! If you’re going to butter the toast for your customer, please cover the whole piece. My burger wasn’t very good. It appeared to be slopped together with wilted lettuce.
In the future, I WILL NEVER go back to any FB restaurants. I have given you too many chances to redeem yourself, but you’ve failed! So I will continue to give my business to the best burger joint around, In-​N-​Out. BTW, I’ve eaten a In-​N-​Out restaurants for about 45 years and have never had a bad meal. It’s always been fresh and hot! Thanks INO!

Just had food here. My mom had the bread soup bowl. The picture shows soup all the way to the top of the bread bowl. What my mom got was not to the top. They should fill soup to the top. Ripoff.
Told one employee and said sorry about that. Another employee said they do not do that because some people may complain about it. Yea right !
Mom did like the soup, but will not order it again.

My bf comes here often because their food is fresher than fast food. But 80% of the time something is always messed up with my order.: /​Also expect a long wait.

IDK what it is, but everyone in this house always agrees on Farmer Boys! I go for the lettuce wraps and pay for extra chicken breast, and my husband always gets the Farmer Burger, and when I really want a 1000 calories I can’t turn down their French Toast. It is good anytime of day!

Got chili cheese fries. chili out of a can taste better. cashier received our money and then served next customer salad. The new soup bowl is far from soup… after three bites there was no more soup and a bread bowl that tasted like hamburger from grill it was cooked on. don’t get me wrong I love farmer boys it must be location

Came here for breakfast, the lady at the front counter acknowledged & welcomed us as she helped a couple before us.

I’ve lived around farmer boys for quite some time and only recently gave it a try, and it wasn’t bad.
I had a southwest chicken salad (I think that’s what it was called) and it was good; chicken was nicely cooked although not very flavorful on it’s own, the tortilla strips and avocado were fresh, overall pretty decent.
But I found the chipotle ranch dressing to be very watery, and the jalapeños in the salad aren’t fresh so that was a little disappointing.
All in all, it’s not a bad place for a quick meal.

But always a return customer

Food is always fresh and tasty. Service is great and super friendly. Especially taking into consideration that it is a fast food spot. Portions are large so it is perfect to share or have leftovers. I don’t come here as often as I should.

Affordable, average fast food. Nothing remarkable and nothing gross. Soda fountains, burger and fries, sandwiches, salads.
First time eating at any Farmer Boys anywhere. I got the turkey bacon with avocado which tasted fine. A combo with fries and a medium drink was about $ 10. Workers were really friendly and they brought my order right to my table and offered additional condiments like ranch which is something a lot of places don’t do. Also, while I was dining in, I noticed everyone cleaning. No one standing around talking or leaning. They were sweeping, wiping down tables, stocking which is really nice. The signs inside point to more natural products being served and I can’t tell from the taste of the food but I’ll take their word for it.

Ive been to many farmer boys. because im a fan of their zuchinni… this place by far tops any one ive been too… they cooked them sooo perfect… think im going to make this my reg one i come to for now on!

What can I say this is always a great go to restaurant. There food is good for basic American country fair. The breakfast burritos are excellent and the pancake meal was also tasty. The OJ is fresh squeezed and my daughter loves it. The OJ is a bit pricey. The natural burger is also very good. Granted this is not a gourmet restaurant however, service is always friendly. It can be a bit slow but I believe this is due to everything being cooked fresh and made to order. You won’t go wrong picking up a breakfast or lunch here.

Before you say «you know what, I feel like going to the Farmer Boys drive thru on Foothill in Rancho», make absolutely sure you have someone that will get your mail for you at home, and water your plants so they don’t die. I waited in the drive thru line so long that I forgot why I was there after a while. I took a nap and when I woke up and drove to the pick up window, I thought, surely I am on a hidden camera TV show and the prank was to see how long people would wait in a drive thru line before abandoning their cars. But nope. No reality show, they legitimately move as slow as dirt.

Farmer Boys has been inching its way down to San Diego little by little and the closes one to me is in Escondido. However being in Rancho Cucamonga for a few days, I figure I would take advantage and give them a try. I like the flavor of natural beef so I ordered the award wining ¹⁄₃ «Natural» burger with cheese. The burger comes with a USDA Vegetarian-​Fed Steer Beef, hormone-​free and Antibiotic-​Free all natural beef patty. The condiments include yellow onions, American Cheese, Thousand Island dressing, and dill pickles served on a soft and moist potato bun (

The burger was simple yet full of great flavor and texture. The American cheese was well melted, the onions were raw and crisp, and the Thousand Island dressing was tangy, all the way they should of been on this particular burger (
). What I loved best about the burger, was the beef patty. They put a great sear and crust on the patty, that helps enhance flavor and lock in the natural juices of the beef (
). The meat was prepared well, as per industry standards, but it still was very flavorful and juicy (
).
You know, I did not mention the potato bun and it too, had a say in the success of this burger. In addition to its great flavor, it was very moist and soft and held up well to the burger.
The female manager was very cool at this location. She figured me out rather quickly and made sure I was a happy camper, and made sure I had all I needed. That Natural burger was I needed…

Had a delicious breakfast bacon sandwich (w/​cheese) and my son had the kids Lil Farmhand Pancake combo plate. I also got to use my free drink coupon for checking in w/​#Yelp. Love it!
