Waited an hour for our food. Burgers came out ice cold and they forgot my kids meals although their order was put in first. Waiste of a family outing.

It was our first time here and we really enjoyed everything about this place. To start, our server Renee was really nice. She was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Me and the boyfriend both created our own burger and they were both delicious! I’m so glad we finally decided to give this place a try, we will definitely be back!

We went here last night for the first time. I loved it. The food was really good. The beer was nice and cold and our waiter Kevin was really amazing. 7 pm on a Saturday night we only had a 20 minute wait before being seated. I recommend the chili cheese fries. We only at appetizers but the deconstructive guacamole was good also. Something very different. The lack of parking is what stopped my 5 star rating.

Had a great time at Slaters 50⁄50. We had Shane as our server treated us like family and given us great service. Our group was more than 15 people but he handled the orders in a great manner. Most of the Foods are shared within these party except the main course. The Appetizers: Sriraricha Chicken Wings 5⁄5 stars. Crispy outside had a mild and with a tinge of honey sweetness. Cheese Dip on bread bowl with vegetable sticks and pita 4⁄5 stars. I’m lactose intolerant but I still I ate it, that’s how good it is. Mild sharpness of cheese with hunt of garlic flavor. The pita bread was crisp on the outer and fluffy inside. The sweet potato fries 2⁄5 a little soft and droopy. But the squash dipping sauce is 5⁄5 stars, really good pairing to the fries. The fried pickles is awesome 4⁄5 with honey mustard dipping sauce. I ordered the cola pulled pork bbq sandwich. Tangy and mildly hot with refreshing Coleslaw’s on a brioche buns. 4⁄5 stars. My drink was watermelon lemonade. A sweet and sour drink perfect for the summer.

Our server sucked so hard. We dined here the night of March 13th and I have since then forgotten his name, but I wish him the worst. When we sat down, I asked him for a round of waters for everyone in my group. He completely dismissed me and asked everyone if they wanted water… Okay, maybe he didn’t hear me. After we browsed the menus, we told him we were ready to order, and he simply walked away after serving our drinks. Ummmmmm. Okay. He came back shortly afterwards and said he’d come back, but we watched him walk around the restaurant aimlessly for a good 5-minutes. Finally, we waved him down to tell him we were ready to order(again). He told us he’d drop something off first and then come back. We waited another 10-minutes before ordering. Since we were a group of six, we had a good amount of various items. If you were to bet this guy got any of our orders wrong, you’d be spot on. As if the food wasn’t that great already to begin with, this crappy service definitely doesn’t make me want to go back.

Wasn’t a fan of this place. Not sure what all the rave was about. We all didn’t like our food it was flavorless. I had the chicken sandwich and it was bland.

Went on a Tuesday night and was sat immediately in the bar area. Ordered our food and a plate was brought out to us 4 minutes later. Quick service but it wasn’t our food. They quickly took the wrong orders back and a few minutes later brought out the right food. Little mix ups happen so it wasn’t a big deal. The food was excellent. Full of flavor and well balanced. Also we discovered it was trivia night that night and played along. Winner received a slaters gift card(needless to say, we lost). Fun, upbeat, creative place to go with friends or family. Just be prepared for a loud ambiance and loud food

Went to this place on a Saturday during the day. It was a fun atmosphere. About a 15 minute wait so I belly’ed up to the bar with a friend. Ordered a Kentucky Mule, it was garbage, however, haven’t been to too many places that make em right so can’t sweat them to much. My friend ordered something too that was tasty. 25 bucks for 2 drinks was a bit over priced. Sat down ordered some burgers. They were good, not great but good. Whatever sauce they use for dipping fries was excellent. All in all, my burger was a Lil too pink for my taste. I would rather spend the money at Eureka Burger, better drinks and better burgers. I would go back if I was invited but not on my own…

Only reason they get 4 is cause of discontinued pretzel buns & no alligator topping! But phenominal grub & beer & service as always

Don’t kill me but I am just not a fan of the 50⁄50 patty. I ordered the Old Timey which was okay. Hubby’s chili-frito burger was way better. I’d come back for the chili alone! I really don’t like that you have to order the fries separate. Especially since the burgers aren’t cheap. The fries turned out to be just okay but the bacon ketchup made up for that. Fried Mac&Cheese balls were great. Rootbeer was tasty. Customer service was nice! I’d come back but not if I had to wait for an hour.

This is my first time to this location but I have to say the service and quality of the food and service are very consistent with their other locations. I ordered the PB& Jealousy which ma sound gross, but is absolutely delicious. It is the 50⁄50 patty with bacon topped with PB&J in-between wheat buns. The salty sweet make this my favorite burger here at Slaters 50⁄50 and makes it hard for me to try anything else. For my appetizer I had the Loaded Baked Potato Mac N’ Cheese which looked, smelled and tasted amazing. The server was very attentive and we didn’t have to wait long to have the waitress to check up on us for refills or to clear away our plates to make room for more! If you haven’t been to Slaters 50⁄50 before I highly recommend them!

One of my colleagues recommended Slater’s in HB a while back to meet and watch Superbowl. It was too far from the house so we ended up at Applebee’s in Bell Gardens. Talk about lowering standards. Anyhow, the very same colleague and I owed our customer in Rancho Cucamonga a lunch for a screw up in a quote we had provided them. So, we showed up at our customers place and asked for a recommendation on where we ought to be headed. Customer said Slater’s, since I had never dined here, I said why not and ended up here. We ordered Sweet potato fries, French fries appetizer. 2 Build your own burgers. 2 Salads. Total with tax came to $ 58 Pros: One of the best waitresses(Heather) we ever had. She recommended options, gave us space as it was the first time for couple of us. Promoted their lunch specials(Awesome Booze specials for lunch! We had to politely decline as we all were headed back to work). She was prompt with the information about time it would take to cook, request for knives, providing the bill and finally boxing up the leftovers.(+2) Ask for her. Trust me. If she wasn’t in Rancho Cucamonga, I would have offered her to interview with my employer for her customer service skills! Sorry Slater’s. One of the very few times, if not the first time, I have ordered only a salad at a restaurant. It was delicious! Adequate parking, ample seating. Decent sized crowd at the place for lunch. Cons: None.

I heard this place can get packed so we went about 4pm on Sunday. There was a short wait but we were seated in the bar. Upon entering the bar area my eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store. The beer selection was phenomenal. Plus all of the TVs with March Madness playing was perfect. I took a few minutes to study the menu and ordered a German pils to start out. Jesslyn, our server was awesome! She came out and filled us in on the menu and the way burgers were cooked; all burgers cooked medium unless requested otherwise. I had to go with the original 50⁄50 burger. The 50⁄50 had a distinct flavor, if you’re a fan of baked ham and burgers that would probably give you a good comparison. I didn’t want fries so I ordered a bison burger protein style. It was very good. I liked the chiles on top. $ 101, seems like a fair price for great for burgers and beer. 2 burgers for myself and 4 beers, rest of the family, 2 kid’s meals, and burger with fries/onion ring combo, plus brussel sprouts appetizer. The kids enjoyed their meals. I don’t think everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. I’m going to Über it up here next week and enjoy some more burgers and beer. Hope to see you there. Happy eating!

This place is hyped up a lot, so when I saw a LivingSocial deal in Dec, I bought 4(3 as gifts and kept 1). The first attempt(a Friday, about 6pm) to use the deal was a bust. It was packed, plus 1 hr wait. Our group walked to The Hat instead(which never disappoints). Second attempt was last night(Mon, 7ish). Hubby and I went with another couple, both of whom had been to Slater’s 50⁄50 before. Got seated by the friendly greeter in the bar area. There were 2 servers that waited on us, each of them explained how to order and made some recommendations. One server offered a beer sample, which my husband ended up ordering. Our group got: old timey, hawaiian, 2 BBBs, and«pick 2» sides(better deal than ordering separately) of onion rings and fries to share. Everyone in our group liked their burgers. My hawaiian was just okay. I expected a thick cut of spam on it, but it was only a thin sliver. My husband’s BBB was much better. Fries were ok. Onion rings were good and crispy. Sides come w/bacon ketchup that was uniquely interesting. I liked the chipotle ketchup better. While friendliness of staff was awesome, they have a wide selection of beer, and service was quick, I left here unsatisfied. The food could use a little more flavor, the burgers don’t come with sides, and honestly, it’s pricey. I’d still give this place another shot and try other burgers on the menu, but won’t pay full price.

Came in for lunch, around 12:30. Wasn’t busy at all. We were quickly seated and greeted by our waitress Mary«who by the way was very friendly and tentative». I stuck to my regular and got it as a lunch special. Portion was appropriate for the price, about 12 $ for the burger and fries. Manager came around after we were finished to make sure we were all satisfied, which I have never experienced at the Pasadena location. I know this location gets busy around dinner time and Friday-Sunday. I wouldn’t say this burger would be worth a long wait.

No matter what afternoon during the week you show up here, it’s always busy but totally worth the wait. We sat down sooner than our estimated wait time which was 30 to 45 min. Our waitress Emily was fantastic. Although it was an extremely busy afternoon, she still managed to keep a good eye on our table and stop by to check on us more than we expected. Food was awesome. We ordered the BOM for the 3rd time this month which was the lasagna burger. Everyone at our table had a great experience!

As you know, I only like to review a place if I’ve been there a couple times. I came once over a year ago and then tonight for my friends birthday! So let’s get ready to rumble! I really like the ambiance, décor, and lighting of this place. It’s hip and fun. The bar area has bar taps on the ceiling and they have a plethora of beers for any palate. My friend put us on the wait list using his Slaters 50⁄50 app. We showed up and they said it would be a 10 minute wait… Then they asked if he was«Vincent» and said the wait would only be 5 minutes(the app showed no wait time) — no biggie. They sat us in the bar area. The booths in the bar area are nice, but your feet don’t touch the ground. This was horribly uncomfortable after a few minutes and I had to drag a chair closer that had those wooden supports to rest my feet on. I’m not short, I’m 4 feet 23 inches, so my legs should have fit nicely, but they didn’t. They were having a special because the food channel was featuring their hottest burger(not on the menu anymore). They actually came around and gave us free burger coupons! We ordered macaroni and cheese balls(came out in flat patties), a mix of their sweet potato and regular fries and two burgers: the pizza burger and a build your own burger. Frankly, the fries were soggy and not worth eating. My friend took them home to see if he could crisp them up in his oven before just throwing them away. The Mac and cheese was delicious! Both hamburgers were amazing and mouth watering. I do wish the buns were smaller, but they compressed nicely and you could fit everything in your mouth. The service was great… I was worried because we were in the bar area, but Gayle took great care of us. She was attentive, fun, helpful, and pleasant. Five stars for Gayle! Unilocal special is $ 2.00 off your second beer. Yes, we used it! :) And now it’s time for some sexy pics:

I love this Slater’s location! Everything is great from the service to the atmosphere. I came here the other night, and we had our name down for a party of 4 and was told that the wait time would be between 30 – 45 min. They use the system where they text you when your table is ready, in case you wander off somewhere, which is totally the best way for restaurants to keep track of waiting parties. There is plenty of space here so lots of options to wait at, especially the patio with the fire pit. This is also a fun place to watch any sports games because of the vast amount of TVs, so at least you’re occupied while waiting. It was really crowded that night, but about 10 minutes had passed and we had already got a text that our table was ready. Surprising, but very fortunate! Our table started out with the Beer Cheesy Fries, which was a good appetizer and portion for 4 people. It was cooked to perfection and wasn’t too overwhelming, since there was just enough for 4 people to only have a taste. The beer cheese is interesting because you can kind of taste the kick. Pretty appetizing if you want something savory. I decided to go with a DIY burger with the 50⁄50 patty, which is half bacon and half beef. The patty is unique and the flavors just melt together so you can’t really distinguish between the bacon and beef. About $ 10 for the smallest size patty, which is still large in size and enough for someone who is not a heavy eater. I ate half and was already extremely stuffed. There are endless combinations in building your burger and so many add on options. Beware though, if you stack too many things it’s almost impossible to eat. Definitely come to Slater’s if you’re craving a good burger and on an empty stomach. Also, be prepared to pay a pretty penny for your meal.

This location is so much better than the one back in pasadena. The service here is better and the staff are attentive and works fast to get you your order. The wait was not even long on a Saturday. Table for 3 we waited for 15 minutes around 7pm. The 50⁄50 burger is still one of my favorite here. We also tried the fried mac n cheese. Very crispy on the outside and cheesy inside with a kick of jalapeño spicy.
