While visiting Ramsey, stopped at Angelo’s. Great place with a very nice and welcoming owner, great gelato(canoli.yummmy) and great capuccinos A very pleasant indoor seating area. Will be back many times, even during fall and winter.

The last few times I’ve gotten the Nutella, it’s had huge chunks of hardened Nutella in it– I love Nutella, but these chunks make the ice cream a lot less enjoyable. Maybe sample the Nutella to make sure it’s chunk-free if that’s what you’re getting. I’m not changing my rating because I still do love their gelato, chunky Nutella aside. Also, the pumpkin is SOGOOD!

The ice cream is really good, but the gelato is out of this world. The owners and staff are friendly too. Angelo himself is a local(grew up in Ramsey). The gelato is so amazing(comparable to the stuff you’d find in Italy honestly) I’d go here anyway, but being able to support a local business is a nice bonus. They have seating inside and outside, and you’re encouraged to hang out and enjoy your food.

As good as it gets! My friends and I came here after hiking in Ramapo valley county reservation(about 5 min away), so something sweet and cold was the perfect treat. From the gelato, to the ice cream, to the italian ice– everything was above expectations. I had the peanut butter and jelly ice cream(pb&j and graham crackers), along with trying the pistachio gelato, and the mango and coconut(with shredded coconut) italian ice. Nothing was too sweet or too creamy. The italian ice had an amazingly rich and smooth texture– I would definitely recommend it.

Angelo’s is such a welcome spot in an area overrun by frozen yogurt. I like frozen yogurt, don’t get me wrong, but there’s no comparison to the homemade ice cream and gelato here. Angelo is awesome guy and he supports the local teams as a sponsor. The décor is very nice, and he has a huge variety of fun flavors. And yes, there’s frozen yogurt.

This review is only for the coffee. Absolutely, without a doubt, one of the worst coffee drinks I have ever had. Stale, preground coffee that tasted like someone had reheated a day old mug of diner coffee. Despite spending $ 5 on my latte it literally went straight to the garbage can after a single sip.

Go here all the time with family and friends. Especially love the gelatin. Studied in Italy years back and his gelato reminds me of the goodies I had over there. His ice cream are excellent as well

Fantastic staff. Outdoor seating is great. Gelato is always worth the trip. Very interesting flavors. My favorite is Nutella.

I was traveling to a nearby town and used Unilocal to find this gem of a place. Shop is bright and clean and the staff was so pleasant. Gelato was heavenly creamy and delicious. The espresso I enjoyed was hot and robust. This place is a keeper and I will be back real soon. Yum!

Great gelato and ice cream. Well worth the 30 minute drive. We will definitely be back.
