I love Beverly Nails. You don’t need an appointment. You rarely have to wait. They are happy to see you when you check in and you always leave with a great mani/pedi with a great massage, comfortable pedi chairs, a beverage and a great selection of colors. I even had a gel mani today and it looks gorgeous. Thanks Beverly Nails you rock!

Despite the negative reviews, I really enjoy this salon. I have been coming here for 2 years now and I have a pleasant experience every single time. I have had to wait before, but I have always been updated and offered a drink. The nail techs are all experienced and do quality work. They all have pleasant attitudes and are friendly. Prices are very reasonable and they offer kids services as well.

On the flick of the moment one day I decided to get a full set of acrylics plus a simple design just to make it look cute. I had acrylics in the past and a lady who did pretty cool designs over on a nail place on capital always made me pretty happy and she always talked about how most places now are doing big cute designs like the one I asked for simply because the nail industry is booming and competition is steep. I asked the lady at the front who spoke decent English if they did simple designs like the one I specifically showed her and she said yes. I was a walk in customer on a Wednesday or Thursday and they had an opening pretty quickly. So I sat down and let the lady begin working on my nails. Now, I’m not a picky person but this lady was in a rush for no reason at all. Nobody was at the front, no one was waiting. She cut my nails so sloppily taking no regard to the short rounded nails I like. THEN after she hurrily finished me she passed me off to a man who I showed the design to several times to and then when I finally broke it down to him he simply said«oh I can’t do that» and passed me off to another lady who literally did the design I requested in 5 minutes on all 10 fingers. It’s sloppy quite frankly. If you don’t do designs, don’t advertise you do. I will be going back to the place on capital. And if you want customers to come back the least you could do is greet them, not rush them, take into consideration their wants and don’t false advertise :)

I keep giving this place a chance because of it’s proximity and convenience, but today was my last visit! I waited for over 10 minutes, behind 2 other women seated, before I left. I signed in, and in that time not a single person approached us to greet us, welcome, give an estimate on wait time etc. Two or three people walked in while I waited and quickly turned around and out. I was really disappointed and left for another salon within 2 miles. The bottom line is, there are too many competitors in the area to not even acknowledge your customers, and retain their loyalty.

Was a walk in on a Sunday and asked if they had an opening. They said yes. Picked out a color, took a seat, and a tech came over promptly to ask if I was ready. Excited, I followed her to the pedicure chair where they filled it with water and proceeded to leave me there for 20 minutes without telling me how long it would take! My feet became waterlogged at which point I removed them to dry so I could escape feeling rudely parked in the corner and ignored. Finally they attended to me offering wine so I stayed but still feel tricked.

Awful customer service and my nails turned out looking like crap! They didn’t have hot water to soak my fingers in. Over priced and the services was seriously lacking! Other than painting and trimming my nails, she quickly smeared some lotion on my arm and was done. The only reason I gave it better than no stars is that their tools were autoclaved, good things because she cut my finger and made me bleed.

I’ve been getting gel nails for months and months now at a place in Greenville and when i was home for a weekend i decided to get my nails filled and repainted at Beverly Nails and recieved the worst possible service. Not only did she seem to be hurrying but she also made it completely uncomfortable for me by using her drill file to basically defile my nails and skin. The polish which was put on poorly left bubbles which have now started to peel after only 48 hours. Usually my nails last me 3 week. These didn’t even last 2 days. I will never go back to this place and i reccommend it to no one. If you are looking for a nail place in the area, check out Amy Nails 2 which is right around the corner on Durant.

I have been going to this place for a long time, since I moved to Raleigh. They are the only nail place I have been too of this type.(Not including Douglas Carroll Salon.) I usually don’t have time for pedicures, but I will go in to get my toe nails trimmed and repainted. With their 20% off deal it costs me $ 8. I always give them $ 15. So, great tip. and I do this so they remember me. A few days ago, my husband and I went in for pedicures and both asked for the Deluxe. What a joke! We left with our feet not in much better shape as when we arrived and they rushed and were basically very negligent of the job they were doing. And rude! While they were painting my toes, the guy started cleaning out the tub where my feet had been soaking, getting cleaning chemicals all over my legs and newly painted toes. I asked him to stop and he did begrudingly. We were never asked if we wanted a beverage as others had been and payment was basically demanded as soon as we were done, I hadn’t even made it to the dryers yet. And they were NOT that busy, at all. I will NEVER go back to Beverly. They do not appreciate my business and loyalty as a customer and it’s very obvious that they know who I am. I will take my money and business elsewhere.

I debated on giving this place 4 stars because they were friendly and spent such a long time on my nails. However, I got my mani– pedi on Saturday evening and my Sunday afternoon almost all every nail on my fingers had chipped nail polish. So, 3 stars it is. I made an appointment for 3 of us to get the Beverly mani and pedi. We arrived on time and they asked what we wanted. I told the lady at the front that we had made appointments for the Beverly mani-pedi’s and she told me we could change it if we wanted or keep it the same. I asked to keep it the same because we don’t get out to have our nails done that often. The spa chairs are very comfortable and we were seated quickly. However, it took about 15 minutes before anyone came over(they were busy). They did offer us cold beverages which was nice. Then someone started on my feet. 10 minutes later someone started on my moms feet, 10 – 15 minutes later someone started on my sisters feet. We had to remind them that we wanted the Beverly mani-pedi’s. They gave us a choice between paraffin treatment on our feet of a cool seaweed wrap. My mom got the wrap and loved it. Her legs were very smooth after. My sister and I got the paraffin and my feet felt so smooth afterward. We had to remind them again that we wanted out nails done but by the time they started with the polish I realized they had forgotten that I had asked for the Beverly manicure about four times already. Oh well, their loss I suppose. The Pedi’s look great on all three of us. Satisfaction is a 5 star sating. The Mani’s started chipping on my sister and I less that 24 hours later. I almost went back in but by the time I was going to every nail looked awful and I decided I’d prefer not to waste my time going back to get it fixed.(the nail chipping issue may have been from the brand of nail polish). Also, the manicure wasn’t much of anything. They didn’t do anything to my moms cuticles(not sure if it isn’t allowed in NC). Paul is fantastic and friendly. I would recommend him. The also seem to always have an opening sale. 20% off. I asked when they opened because of the grand opening signs and sale and they told me 3 years ago. Ha.

I was running errands and came across Beverly Nails so I thought I would run in for an eyebrow wax. Even though they weren’t busy, I waited for almost 10 minutes at the front. I even made eye contact with one of the employees, who then walked away without saying hi or that someone would be up to help me soon. Talk about rude! I will never go back there again. Terrible customer service.

I went here to get a set of gel nails(french manicure) put on and I was pretty disappointed. The man who completed my nails seemed rushed and the end result was not great. Lesson learned, I won’t go to that gentleman again. Less than 2 days later, my nails started to flake and chip and generally didn’t look good, so I went back. They fixed them for free, but the new man who(I believe was an owner or manager) completed them the second time seemed irritated, spoke to one of the other ladies throughout my entire manicure and generally made me feel very uncomfortable. I never received an apology, just some glaring looks from manicurist #1. Believe me when I tell you, I have been in the service industry most of my life and treat fellow SI’ers with respect and kindness. Had they treated me with a little more of the same, I would not be so harsh with my review. But in every industry, things will go wrong, it is inevitable, but it is how you react to those instances that shows how you really value your customers.
