Fast casual place with variations on burgers(beef, turkey, veggie, and chicken) and salads. Lots of flavor variations. Burgers are a little small and I’m nit a huge fan of their bun, but it was good. They have Maine Root soda which is very good as is their lemonade. It’s worth trying, although on a busy night parking in this part of North Hills can be difficult.

I’ve been here twice and enjoyed the eats both times. Lots of healthy food items on the menu. On my second trip we had a gnat problem and a sticky table during a slow time so wonder about cleanliness issues. Like BurgerFi better to be honest.

$ 30 for 2 burgers and fries… I don’t think so. The burgers were dry over cooked and had really no flavor. When our food came out, the burgers didn’t have any of the toppings that we requested. Half way through my burger, i found a hard piece of gristle the size of a small gum ball. My wife’s fries were also cold. Our other friend got her daughter a kids meal, smoothie and fries… her bill was $ 15.00. Over priced bad food.

I had the spicy avocado lime bowl and the acai smoothie. Both were absolutely delicious. I was in Raleigh on business and wanted a quick dinner, so that I could have some time to relax in my hotel. I ordered online and was in and out of the restaurant within 5 minutes. All of the options looked delicious and fresh. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely be returning to b. good!

I love the concept of b. good – healthy food fast and a lot of locally sourced ingredients. I had the Spicy Avocado and Lime Kale & Grain Bowl with quinoa(kale, sautéed veggies, avocado, black beans, corn, grape tomato, queso fresco, lime, cilantro, chipotle purée, and red pepper vinaigrette). The serving size was generous, and each of the ingredients were fresh and tasty, but I would have liked more of the«stuff» and less kale. Also, if avocado is in the name of the dish, it should have some avocado, if you know what I mean! It was a whole lot of kale, folks. I also tried the sweet potato fries and they were okay. Categorically speaking, because they were sweet potato fries, I liked them, but I have had better pretty much everywhere else. They were mushy and not quite as flavorful as I expected. Maybe that is the result of b. good’s «finished in the oven» method? I don’t know. The salad was nearly $ 10 and the fries and bottle of water were an extra $ 3.99. I appreciate having this healthy option, and I love that they locally source many of their ingredients(cheese from Ashe County NC, grass-fed beef from Pinetops NC, etc.), but I was a little underwhelmed with my meal. I’ll give them another shot since this was my first visit. I’ll try a burger next time!

Went tonight for the first time, had a Buffalo Turkey Burger on wheat. Burger patty itself was fine, but bun was dry and blah, rest of burger was utterly forgettable, barely a hint of buffalo sauce — extremely disappointing, especially for $ 7.50(burger was smallish). Sweet potato fries were OK — not really crisp but seasoned well enough. Maybe my expectations were too high? I had been told such lofty things. The ketchup(of all things) was phenomenal and the lemonades looked good(and were according to my kids). Anyway, nice enough but I won’t rush back.

I was traveling through Raleigh and seeking a local place to stop for a healthy lunch. B. good was easy to find, had plenty of delicious veggie options, and a clean, casual atmosphere. The kale and quinoa bowls were just what I was looking for.(A few days on the road meant my buns couldn’t handle anymore buns!). I’m not a strict vegan, but I try to eat primarily plant-based. Although none of the bowls were truly vegan(they all had either egg, dairy, or meat), easy substitutions could be made, and they even had an option to add tofu! The curry avocado bowl was hearty and filling. All in all, quick service and yummy inexpensive health food from local farm sources! Doesn’t get much better than that. Beware though: parking is a little tricky to come by… look for it on the street before you end up looping back up to the highway like I did!

The Toasted Almond and Ginger Kale and Grain Bowl is wonderful. Slightly spicy, filled with sauteed veggies and bok choy — I really liked it and I’m _not_a fan of kale. I tried it with quinoa and was quite satisfied. The bowls are large, so it’s a lot of food — vegetarian or no, you won’t leave hungry. It’s worth noting that there are burgers and other sandwiches as well. A clean, well-lit and well-located place.

This is my second time here, the first with my wife, the second with my daughter. The smoothies are amazing, possibly the best I’ve ever had. The food is very high quality as well. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that both times it took quite a while for the food to be delivered to our table, and their catch phrase is «real food fast.» Also, for me the burgers are much to small, and in order to be satisfied I have to order double beef on my burgers.

I’ve tried the quinoa bowls and they are delicious. Also the burgers and fries always hit the spot!

I love this place. They’re in North Hills at the end of the newer side by Chuy’s restaurant. It’s a no fuss place — you order at the counter and they bring it to your table or, as I usually do, you can take it to go. I love that the ingredients are always fresh, from kale to avocado to squash — AND they support local NC farmers. The quinoa bowls are awesome — they’re filling and a healthy option. They have a super grain mix you can get instead of quinoa too. I know they have burgers and fries and such but I love the bowls I just always get the same thing! Spicy avocado and lime bowl is my go to — I’ve gotten the Moroccan inspired bowl too and it’s always good! They have tofu you can add, which I love. Great for vegans and vegetarians! Bowls are about $ 9-$ 12 depending on protein addition. Highly recommended! And if you join their rewards program you get lots of goodies offered too.

Spicy Avocado and Lime Bowl, that’s all I’m going to say… okay not really but holy cow this thing is awesome! I call ahead so there won’t be a long wait. They do make the bowls to order so they wait is usually like 5−10mins but it is so worth it! Okay so the bowl, you can get Super Grains or Quinoa. I got it with both one time but(to me) it wasn’t an equal half and half mix so I’m not sure I’ll be doing that again. All the veggies in the bowl are super fresh not mushy at all. They put what I like is Spanish Queso Fresco(cheese) on top. Halved Cherry Tomatoes also. Either a half or a whole Avocado is sliced and placed on top. It is a little spicy but not bad. I also get grilled chicken top. Oh and the Rosemary Lemonade is super refreshing!!! Go check this place, feel healthy, and enjoy! Happy healthy eating!

I was excited last year when I saw this place was opening up and really looked forward to trying it… b. good is a great concept and their food is pretty good — if you happen to get it fresh and timely. It’s certainly not fresh homemade, nor even Whole Foods food bar quality, but it isn’t bad for what it is and for the price. The problem is they can’t seem to get an order ready, any order, in any sort of reasonable time frame. OMG, I could have gone next door to Chuey’s, been seated, ordered, served, finished & paid and then walked backed to b. good in time to pick up my order… WTF? Initially I gave them the benefit of doubt, reasoning that it was a new restaurant, new people and a big learning curve… But this has happened EVERYSINGLETIME. This last time was a take out order which was phoned in ahead of time. They quoted 10 minutes, my husband arrived later & still had to wait 20 more minutes. At the time of this post, they’ve been open several months. Long enough to get their shit together. While the folks are really nice, it almost seems like the kids are home alone and no one is paying attention to the sinking ship? This place REALLY needs to get their act together if they expect to succeed at North Hills. Step it up b. good!

So-called«healthy» places like this one make me feel like they should be exceptionally good, but my experience here was just average. It’s pretty inside, located within an equally attractive Raleigh business locale. The area’s not bleeding available on-street parking, but you can make it work. Order and pay to the right, grab a seat, and wait for your food. The service was moderately timely and not standoffish. It seems like the seating would run out quickly during hot times, but I wouldn’t know. I was there around 1pm and stood in a long line that moved swiftly. I had a buffalo sauce burger, side salad and 3 Greens Smoothie. There wasn’t much to the burger, but it was okay. And side salads aren’t designed to blow anyone’s mind, so no big deal there either. What I really enjoyed was the smoothie. It went down easily and didn’t taste bland like some green drinks. Didn’t blow me away. However, looking at some of the other customer’s meals, this place looks like a prime stop for when you feel like eating super healthy stuff like the Power Bowl for $ 9.59 — kale, grains, local egg, carrots, brussels sprouts, shiitake crisps, pepitas, tomato vinaigrette. I just didn’t have that plan at the time.

If you’re looking for a healthy meal with quality ingredients that isn’t going to break the bank too badly, then b. good is the answer. I visited one in Boston years ago and am glad the chain has moved south! Stopped in for lunch and grabbed a spicy avocado and lime bowl, made with kale, sautéed vegetables, black beans, corn, grape tomato, queso fresco, cilantro, chipotle purée, all finished with a red pepper vinaigrette. It was seriously good, and that’s from someone who knows that too much kale can be a little overwhelming. All of the ingredients just seemed to go really well together. It was a very large portion, so maybe keep that in mind. The burgers and accompaniments I saw also looked delicious; I’ll be sure to check those out next time. The soda fountain also had healthier alternatives, which I really appreciated. Great job!

Yum! Coming from Austin where there is an abundance of delicious and local food, this place is a must-try for farm-to-table enthusiasts! I opted for a kids meal because I wasn’t super hungry & I had plenty of food. I got a grilled cheese(jalapeño pimento cheese from Red Clay Gourmet in Winston-Salem) on a gluten free bun. That pimento cheese was incredible! I ordered a side of sweet potato fries, which were good, but too soft for my liking. I added a smoothie(Carrot Cake — delicious!) on to my order instead of juice or milk. The total was $ 8 and change and it was more than enough! My friend has a quinoa bowl, which was refreshing and light. The staff was more than helpful and there wasn’t much of a wait at 11:55 on a Tuesday. Well done, Raleigh! I hope more come along!

My husband and I tried B Good because a friend suggested it. This was over a month ago and we go on a weekly basis now! I’m hooked on their kale & quinoa bowls. I’ve tried 3 of the 4 offered on the menu and I always go back to the Apple and Bacon one! My husband loves their burgers. The sweet potato fries aren’t the best in town(call me crazy but CowFish has amazing sweet potatoes) but they’re not too shabby. I also like the concept of buying local. I work in agriculture and personally know some of the farmers that they buy from, pretty cool!

I almost lean towards four stars, but can’t quite do it. I like the concept of b. good, but it just seems a little over-priced for what it is: not quite fast-casual dining. We’ve eaten here a few times and the food and service has been good every time, just not great. It usually takes as long if not longer to get your food than somewhere like Five Guys which is usually very busy unlike here. Maybe if they had some local peanuts to snack on while we wait it wouldn’t seem as long. The burgers are pretty good, but a little on the smaller side. The first time we ate was right after they opened and I felt like I had way more bun than burger, but on more recent visits the ratio has been better. I had one of the chicken sandwiches and it was decent. The turkey burger was just okay so I may stick to the beef or chicken from now on. The fries are tasty. Mrs. B got the vegetable side once and it wasn’t too bad. Just a bowl of steamed veggies, though. She also got one of the bowls and said it was alright. Overall I like b. good, but I’m not in love with it. I like the locally sourced theme, but I like a great burger even better.

So after another visit, I’ve decided all b. good deserves is 2 stars, really. Not a solid 4 like I was hoping they deserved. I stopped in with two friends a little after 7pm on Wednesday evening. We ordered and sat down to catch up. Our meals were brought to us this time, because I think it wasn’t as busy. Nice detail. Anyway, I bit into my veggie burger and all I tasted was bread. I opened the bun and noticed the veggie«burger» was literally as thin as a piece of paper and did not even cover the whole bun. I stopped the manager as he walked by and informed him that this was totally not worth my $ 10+ that I just paid for a mediocre burger that was mostly bread. He offered to bring another, which I took him up on. I sat there though while my friends ate and waited and waited. Eventually, my food came back out and was better, but I was so annoyed that they totally tried to rip me off. The manager brought a card to come back for a kale bowl + free bowl for a friend — nice gesture, but no thanks. I feel like the food is ok at best, and I really don’t appreciate being taken advantage of with the hardly-there burger. Not going to give more of my time and money to b.good.

B. Good is a welcome addition to the restaurant scene in North Hills, where most of the offerings are overpriced and a bit lackluster in my opinion. While there are a few standouts i’ve never found anything that really truly wow-ed me when it came to a quick, affordable lunch. I think B. Good could be a standout at North Hills but it still needs to fix a few kinks… I’ve been three times so far and had a burger and fries as well as the quinoa/kale bowl. The bowls were great; very fresh and huge for the price. I had the chicken added to the apple bacon bowl and it was perfectly juicy and added a lot to the meal! The burger and fries on the other hand were limp and crumbly and a major let down. I’m not sure if it was a one-time thing but I won’t be ordering it again. Now on to service… It’s sloooooow. Like slow slow. It took my sister and I 25 minutes to get our bowls in a half empty restaurant, and only received them after I went up to ask about them… This has happened twice so far out of the three times i’ve been here and i’m desperately hoping it’s just new-restaurant hiccups or something because this place has lots of potential. Also none of the staff looks particularly excited to be there… The lady who was making food when I asked about our missing bowls gave me the most annoyed look ever when I told her we’d been waiting 25 minutes… Since I don’t have a ton of affordable area-options for lunch i’m sure i’ll stop back in for another bowl, but there are much better places in the area for a burger and a TON of places that have quick and happy service(see Zoes a few doors down…) Also, very random tip… Get soda when you go. They have Maine Root instead of the usual Coke or Pepsi which has some of the best blueberry soda ever. It’s totally worth it.
