This place is absolutely horrible. The manager Kevin is completely rude and creepy. We went in to order and he made a pass at my 6 year old niece. I looked this guy up and found out he is a registered sex offender. Great staff Papa John’s

The store was understaffed. Called in for a pickup on a pizza and cheese sticks. It took an hour and ten minutes to make it. The manager said several times to other customers that they were slammed and at least one person had called out. Despite this there was no urgency by him or the cashier. After finally getting my order, my wife called and the manager told her that the oven was broken. He never told the people waiting that there was a problem with the oven. The pizza was undercooked in the middle. He refunded the charge, but I won’t be going to this location again. Stay away.

STAYAWAY! Absolute worst experience of my life. Im surprised this location is still even open. I had placed an online order and had put it in for it to be ready at a certain time. So i show up at the time my order was supposed to be ready and theyre like oh 5 minutes, which is fine. So five minutes pass by and my order isnt ready. So i find out that they hadnt even made the pizzas and that they were going to make it then! I needed my order at a certain time, hence the reason why I ordered it in advance! They were lucky that I had already paid and that i needed those pizzas. If not, i wouldve left. Everyone there could have cared less that I was upset or that they legit lie to their customers. Terrible customer experience, very unresponsive crew, terrible pizza too. I wish i could get a refund for my terrible experience! Dont waste your time coming here unless you’re not hungry; because by the time your order is ready,(1 hour later if youre lucky), you’ll be hungry.

I’ve ordered from this location five times now. The first two times everything was good. Pizza was good everything was decent. Not spectacular, but about what you expect from a chain pizza store. My last two experiences with this particular location have been horrible. Whoever writes the schedule for this particular store is incompetent. The last time I placed an order it took more than an hour and 35 minutes for my pizza to come. When I called the store they told me they only have one driver. The driver called me several times to keep me up-to-date on the delays and apologized repeatedly. I paid for the order and ate it, and it was fine. Tonight however my patience was that an end. I placed my order at 1:53. It is now 3:29 and there’s no food here yet. That’s an hour and 35 minutes. I called them and canceled my order. The guy on the phone said«well they’re already on their way». If they ever show up at my house I’ll turn them away. I’m not paying for a pizza that I ordered an hour and a half agoNo way. This location really needs to get its act together. At the bare minimum they should look at the NFL schedule. If there’s a patriots game on: have more than one delivery driver. Update: 2÷28÷16 this locations new manager reached out to me and offered to make things right. That showed me that they’re committed to service. He explained that he has made some changes to this location, including staff improvements as well as procedural changes too. The result is that my last three orders have been much much better. Faster delivery times and great food. Things have definitely improved and I will keep ordering from this location. Adding two stars back for the good performance, and if they keep it up I will be glad to raise it some more.

My first papa John’s order ever and I tried a large cheese pizza(baked well done, a website option I saw) a few days ago. I ordereded online without any problems, paid online using a gift card. Everything went smoothly, estimated pizza pick up time was accurate. Then again it was 10pm on a weekday so the pizza was ready in less than 30 minutes. Also I got it for $ 5.34 because it was an early weekday deal. I give 3 stars because it wasn’t the best pizza I ever had. It was cooked thoroughly, tasty, and we enjoyed it. The crust is the dry bready type, unlike dominos that’s buttery and salty. This seemed healthier, less grease. The nice lady at the counter was nice and smiled. I haven’t tried anything else yet but hopefully the food and service continue to be good.

Ordered a pizza a few weeks ago, went to pick it up and it wasn’t ready, ok that’s fine, i paid for it and sat and waited. And waited And waited You get the idea, meanwhile pizza’s we’re flying out of the oven, no one bothered to check if any was mine(Of course one was) so i waited for about 10 minutes then i asked someone to check, yep it was there, it had been there a while. We complained and got 2 free pizzas comp’d. We ordered last night and was told 20 mins. After 20 mins my wife went to pick it up. «what did you order?» she was asked. «oh we haven’t put that in yet, it will be 5 minutes» Pizza can’t ready in 5 minutes. Raw pizza and horrendous service will ensure they can keep the other free pizza. Never again.

I ordered online at around 3:00PM Saturday afternoon. Order time expected was 40 minutes. I had to leave at 4:30 to run some errands. I get a call at 4:00PM saying that their oven was broken/not working and that it would be another 45 minutes. I’m a reasonable person and let things go so I asked if they could change the time of the same order to 6:30PM, when I would be back home. I get back home and wait until 7:45(lost track to time) and realize that I still haven’t eaten and that my pizza is not here… I call Papa Johns and the girl I spoke with on the phone was not sympathetic, but pleasant. I explained the situation. She said the order was voided… and that I would have to place the order again. No customer service, no customer retention, no anything… now I am waiting another 30 minutes for pizza… that I had to pay for… again. What trash.

I ordered delivery and waited about an hour and a half. It’s preferable that delivery time is 30 – 40 minutes especially because I don’t live that far from this location. The pizza was mediocre

This is the worst establishment I’ve ever been in my life. The quincy location has HORRIBLE management and no organization what’s so ever. Not only is the food less than mediocre, the wait to get it is so ridiculously long you might as well order the day before. At 5:15pm(prime dinner rush) They have one single employee working like a dog to answer the phones, make all the orders, tend to the front counter, and tell the delivery driver what to do. There is no manager on the premises to either help the customers or the overloaded employee. One person should not be held responsible to run an entire restaurant. Not only is it impossible for everything to get done but they are going to work this poor man to death. I’m sure they aren’t paying him appropriately for the work he’s doing. It’s amazing they have any employees left at all with the way they treat them. I’m not sure they know the difference between and employee and a slave. It is truly disgusting. Honestly their best option would be to close forever. I personally will never put another dollar in «papa johns» pocket regardless of how long they choose to take up space in quincy. Never again.

Really not sure what all these other reviewers were expecting. It’s a national chain pizza– not going to be the homemade stuff from the north end! I have ordered from this location 4 or 5 different times now. Every delivery is super quick– the most I ever waited was 30 minutes from online order to finish. The pizzas always arrive fresh and hot– I have never had one that’s been soggy. I personally enjoy their pizza, especially the sweet tomato sauce.

Happy New Year all !! Order 1÷1÷15. Paid cash, tip of course. Extra Large, well done, plain cheese. Arrived as web suggested on time. Big carton box. Delivery person had 2 more inside delivery bag. And so onto important task of all ., appearance and taste. Hm ., well ., on the look of the pizza was flat like, weak brownish color(well done ?). Super soggy, even the edges(well done ?). Crusty crust(?) non-existing element !! On the bite dough felt as was still uncooked.(well done?). Super chewy, rubbery, stretchy, row like, flour taste. Don’t want to write any more as clearly this was waste of my first time ordering from this chain. I live at Houghs Neck and plenty just as bad available near by, in all this is appalling experience so far. I just hope owners/managers/customers read this as well as other reviews and realize how bad this chain product is. One Star rating does nothing here, sad how we are the consumers fall for these absolutely discussing eateries.

Bogus. Their food runs right through you. It’s a greasy mess and you will be running to the can to shake the weasel in no time. Ordered twice for delivery. Both took over an hr and I was missing a part of my order each time. Too expensive and not worth it.

This new location has horrible customer service. I’ve been there three times now, and I think that’s it for me. They made a mistake on a coupon for their grand opening that had an error, rather an omission. They would not honor it, and since the first pizza, the last two box toppers had pen writing on the coupon to correct the mistake. There is a short brunette in there that us fiercely rude. Watch out for her. She likes to argue. I have only picked up because I think a $ 2 delivery charge on top of a tip it ridiculous. Think from now on I’ll stick to the little guys.

This is an update from my first review. As I’ve said, I’ve been a customer for a long time and I was going to give them another chance last night, but when I logged into my online account, the credit we were promised was not there. I think I’m all done with Papa John’s, it’s just not worth the aggravation, which makes me sad.

Easy to order online but hard to find parking just to pick up. They don’t deliver to my part of Quincy and I live only about 5 – 10 minutes away. Not a big deal since I can drive but they’re losing out on tip money. Food wise is ehh. I ordered a large pizza and got to pick five toppings for a deal(online ordering deal only) and sweet chipotle wings. Chicken wings has a rubbery taste to it and the pizza tasted like bad frozen pizza brand. I will reconsider next time when debating where to order for pizzas.

Mediocre. As someone else said, if your looking for an alternative to Dominos this is it. I’ll stick with Papa Ginos.

This was my first order with Papa John’s and it was an awful experience. A location just opened in my area, about a mile away, and I was excited to try it. I looked it up online and downloaded the app to my phone. I thought it strange that it said the location didn’t deliver. I found some online specials that I liked and called. The person answering the phone told me that they would deliver but that the specials were online order only. As online and delivery were not a valid combination she told me to order online then call to have the order changed from carry out to delivery. Really a waste of time for me and them but why should I pay more than necessary? So I ordered online then called. I was on hold for nearly 5 minutes to wait for the delivery update. Then the food arrives. The driver quotes the wrong price(she said $ 35 and change). I know I paid online so I don’t really focus on it. I gave her a few dollars tip. Then she comes back and telling me I didn’t pay. We have a whole conversation in front of my house that takes about 10 minutes, including her calling the store twice and me showing her the above receipt on my phone. At this point, I wish I would have just given the order back and gotten something from somewhere else. I don’t even know yet if I was charged twice(once for the original order and once for the order with the 2.75 delivery fee) but I bet I was and will have to call my bank. Once I finally try the pizza — it was AWFUL. DISGUSTING. The sauce was sicking sweet. I had one slice from each pie barely and my husband had one slice of pepperoni. The only thin half way decent was the chicken nuggets. And seriously, chicken nuggets!!! I asked for a refund and got an email saying I’d get a call. This is still not resolved. I still want a refund. I received one call from a blocked number at 4pm Monday while at work from Julie the owner/manager. I did not want to talk about this further as I have already wasted a fair deal of my time. I also have provided all the details in my email so there is nothing else to discuss. Lastly, Julie was well aware of the situation at the time as 1) she was the person who told me to order online and call back and was also; 2) the person the driver called with the question about my payment. Her voicemail said all the right things but was a farce as I said she was involved at the time. Just get a pizza from somewhere else.

If you are looking for an alternative to Domino’s than PJ’s is the place. Typical conveyor belt pizza — you have to be really hungry to eat this pizza. What a disappointment. Knew I was in trouble when the email confirmation came in at 7:13 and they were delivering by 7:30. Never again.

As a mom of two under a year and a half whose husband works nights, this has been a miracle for us. Very few places will deliver to Hough’s Neck(neither Papa Gino’s or Dominos will!) so we feel blessed to have them nearby. They deliver faster than the place down the street and haven’t made any mistakes on our orders! Sorry that others have had issues. We haven’t and have ordered 3 times in two weeks. Fabulous specials and quick delivery. Who could ask for more?! I only wish they offered salads, but if in the interest of time they can’t, I can eat pizza. :) Welcome to the neighborhood!
