Incredibly tasty food and reasonably priced for its location. Definatly a must go to dine but make sure you have the time or order an app if your hungry, the food does take a while.

Newer pizza place on Federal Hill. Service is great, everyone is really nice. We ordered a pizza and a salad to go. Pizza was alright, crust ok. Salad was fresh and good. Nothing special, but not bad if you want a quick bite.

I am writing this review regarding their pizza only, I have not tried any of their other food. The pizza is crispy and the sauce & cheese is very tasty! The prosciutto & mushroom pizza is my favorite! I think this is the best wood fired pizza in providence!

Stopped in about a month or so ago. I was craving an eggplant parmigiana sandwich. Federal Hill is overflowing with italian eateries, but I wanted something fast and reasonably priced. Saw Jo Jo’s and thought I would give it a shot. Being on federal and all the competition I thought this place would do a decent job. Walked in around 8 and absolutely no one in the place — it more of a To Go spot anyways as the atmosphere is kinda boring, cold, and not very inviting. Order my eggplant parm and watching the guy make it with precut, perfectly round pre-breaded eggplant — UGH. I wasn’t expecting made to order eggplant, but c’mon frozen eggplant patties? On the hill??? Waited for awhile for what should be a five minute sandwich. Again, place is totally dead. Sandwich was huge! The size of a medium loaf of bread… but way way too thick for the three unappetizing pieces of eggplant. It was all bread and no substance. Clearly had the frozen taste and the eggplant was barely there under a thick breading that wasn’t crispy at all. Sauce was bland and flavorless — like stewed tomatoes. I took three bites on my way home, threw the rest of the bread out of the window and ate a slice of breading, I mean eggplant. For an $ 8 sandwich, I expected so much more. It was literally the worst eggplant parm sandwich I have ever had. I literally came home and made dinner. What a bummer. Why write the review now you ask? Well just came back from Wise Guys on the same street — new sandwich shop and you guessed it — order an eggplant parm. It was awesome! tons of eggplant, fresh, light, crispy and seemingly homemade. Huge wrap that had a great amount of cheese, sauce, and real eggplant… reminding me how blah my experience was at JOJO’s.
