The owner and his wife make some fantastic sandwiches that always hit the spot perfectly. The meats, veggies etc are always fresh, their attitudes are always familial and they have a passion for making good food and treating customers like they are gold.
If you want a real treat of an Italian-​style sandwich, get the Godfather with pastrami added. That’s a good hearty meal!

My coworker and I were both craving Deli sandwiches and this place happens to be close to our office. When I walked in the man and woman behind the counter greeted me warmly and were so incredibly welcoming. When they heard it was my first time to their restaurant the woman gave me two free cookies! I thought it was very thoughtful. I ordered the turkey croissant sandwich and it was amazing! The portion sizes are also huge! I was only able to eat half. Overall it was a great experience and I will be back!

I went to Eat Your Heart Out II after seeing it’s positive reviews on Unilocal.I had the corned beef and pastrami sandwich. My wife had the chicken salad. The portions were big for the price. The sandwich was one of the best I have ever eaten. My wife had nothing but compliments for her salad as well. The owner and his wife were very friendly. For seemingly being the only two employees at the time, the service was incredibly quick. I would definitely eat her again.

Had a philly steak sandwich. Came with a cucumber salad and cookie for $ 8. Great deal and all were tasty.

Tried this place randomly for lunch today with a few co-​workers, and it was pretty darn awesome. Try the #3 on toasted rye with pepperoncini, no middle bread, and easy mayo… pretty sure you won’t regret it!

This place is wonderful I only wish it was opened on the weekends. The BLT w extra bacon. Also the egg salad sandwich is the bomb!

Love this place! Great selection, quick service and the owners always brighten my day! They remember what I like and make me something delicious whenever I come in.

Although I work from home, it’s nice to sometimes go out for lunch even if it is to bring it home. I was just craving a sandwich and Unilocal’ed this place. I am extremely happy that I did, since I found my favorite deli right by my house! The couple who owns it are extremely friendly and have some great sandwiches to boot. I just tried the Muhammad Ali, per a suggestion and it was awesome! I really can’t wait to try their other sandwiches. If you are craving a sandwich and are nearby, do not hesitate to stop by this little Deli. You will not regret it. I’m one happy camper right now.

Small hole in the wall place ran by mom and pops. I had the #4 club sandwich and it was delicious. Everything was very fresh and the sandwich was pretty big. The owners were also very friendly. I will come here again. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is because I haven’t had anything else on their menu. I will have to update my review after visiting a few more times.

This place is so cute. My husband and I met up here for a quick lunch one day during a lunch break, and we weren’t disappointed.
The couple that owns the deli is adorable and incredibly friendly. They found out it was our first visit and gave us a free cookie with our sandwiches. And they were delicious!
The sandwiches are fairly basic, but well made, and with tasty, fresh ingredients. They’re also reasonably priced and HUGE! I couldn’t even finish mine– I had to take half of it home as leftovers.
Definitely would recommend checking out.

Best sandwiches in San Diego! We gladly drive from Murphy Canyon to regularly enjoy this place. The owner is super friendly and the prices are excellent! I love the Richard Nixon (egg salad) with added bacon. We also get the Liberace and Muhammad Ali. The hubby and I always swap half of our sandwiches because they are so good it’s impossible to have just one favorite!

This is my go-​to sandwich shop when I’m in the area! There are a few good ones in the Poway area, but this one is so close to my work I decided to try it out. The place is kind of tucked away in a nondescript strip mall, and the inside is nothing to brag about — just a few tables (outside seating too!) and an old television. The sandwiches here, however, are AMAZING! The owner and his wife operate the counter and are very polite and will even give you suggestions and what bread/​cheese goes well with each sandwich. I went with the marx brothers special on sourdough and couldn’t have been happier! Quality meat was piled high and the bread tasted fresh! Just a sandwich will set you back $ 6.25 to pay with a credit card which is a great buy for the quality. If you work at one of the companies nearby and want to get a quick bite to eat on your lunch break look no further! Gets busy around normal lunch hours, but other than that you can be in and out in less than five mins.

This place is absolutely amazing. The sandwiches are on real and the owner Bill is amazing and the prices are awesome. Compared to any other sandwich shop Bill uses twice to meat and twice the love. The owner and his wife are so friendly and throw in cookies here and there if you’re good. This deli is an ANY hour deli for awesome food and sandwiches. Hot or cold.

3 words: Friendly as hell. I love it when people love what they do. Makes me feel good about spending my $, and like a good woman, you never wanna let go of a good deli. And Mr, I’m in love.
In this man’s opinion, the barometer of which every deli should be judged is by how well they make a tuna sandwich. It’s simplicity is deceptive. You could miss some important steps. How you do anything, is how you do everything, right? The tuna samm is all too often disgraced by sub-​par bread or plain neglect, the tuna mix left in a plastic tray to slowly die.
The bad boy I was served was a win on all levels of quality: size, taste, freshness, service, and price. But I won’t regale you with zesty taste descriptors. That’d be just mean.
Sides and drinks are conveniently available in the coolers to select pre-​order. Plus there’s 2 tv’s on each side so you have som’n to watch other than your idol thoughts while you eat. Location and parking are easy to find. Put this on your list for north county delis.
I’ll be back to try the ‘Bill Clinton’!
