Richie’s Burger Urge has the best burgers, fries, shakes/malts in Kitsap County. After being on vacation for 2 weeks, I could not wait to get to this 1950s style hang out. The #4 burger is my favorite with lettuce, tomato, onion raw or grilled with Richie’s secret sauce is my ultimate favorite. There shoe string fries. They also have milk shakes and malts. Yum! So good! Thank you Raul & your staff for another great meal! Thank you Richie for bringing a great burger to Poulsbo.

My boyfriend and I stopped in here because it was the closest burger place we could find after a long summer day in the sun. Neither of us had been to Bainbridge or Poulsbo since we were children. The menu is simple and short. Hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fries, and shakes. Some might complain that there isn’t enough variety, but there are enough Red Robins in the world. The burger was an absolute delight. Fresh patties, fresh veggies, and plenty of gooey cheese. The staff is polite and thoroughly pleasant. I was disappointed they don’t accept tips! My only complaint is that the fries were a bit thin and greasy for my taste, but they were seasoned and cooked well. My boyfriend loves them and was more than happy to eat my share.

Yummy! And the service is helpful, friendly, and courteous! I have two burger buffs in my family and one of them thinks Richie’s is the best burger ever! He always gets the triple cheeseburger and ultimate fries. And I love their Anasazi Spicy burger with cheese and fries. They have gluten free options and their shakes & malts are yummy too! Just check ‘em out!

The burgers are good, but the fries could use some work. Every time my wife and I have come here, when we get about have way through the basket of fries, they are too small and very salty. The blackberry shake is our favorite.

This is the only Fast Food I’d eat, when I get the Burger Urge, of course. lol! Each order made fresh! Great Old fashioned style burgers, fries and Malts(which I love!) Order yours with cheese and cooked onions on top, a messy good burger with fresh lettuce and tomato! Great friendly service and prices, I can see this being a good stop on the way back from peninsula adventures!

Best Old-Fashioned Burger anywhere. Everything is fresh and delicious. North Kitsap is lucky to have Richie’s

Went in for lunch yesterday. Yes, this place is the real deal. Great nice greasy burgers and fries. Very tasty. Had a guy with me from California, he said it was as good as in and out burger.

HOT! This doesn’t change the flavors, but it really helps the enjoyment… especially with french fries. Reminds me of the street fries in Amsterdam(on a cold winter day).

Okay. The burgers felt too small and mass produced. I could have gotten the same thing across the street at BK. Not bad, but not impressed.

I’m from California and this is the closest thing to In and Out here. A pretty good burger, but each time I have gone, the fries have been over cooked. I just don’t order them anymore. The bun is pretty weak. If they toasted it more it wouldn’t fall apart. I’ll keep coming but when in California it’s In and Out all the way.

Finally got a chance to try this little gem after visiting my dad in poulsbo. Hands down the best burger joint in Kitsap. I got the double cheeseburger combo with ultimate fries. The burger was nice and greasy(which is a must for any burger joint as far as I’m concerned) with just the right amount of toppings and cheese, the ultimate fries were kind of like animal style at in and out but with their own flair(pickles, grilled onions, jalepenos, cheese, and their special sauce which is similar to thousand island). I’ll probably get them minus the pickles next time but they were very good. The place was very clean, the employees were friendly, and the plaque on the wall in the men’s restroom alone is worth the trip. All in all while it wasn’t the best burger joint I’ve ever been to, it’s definitely better than anything I’ve tried in kitsap. You’re getting the same amount and slightly better quality than groovey burger and you’ll spend about 5 bucks less.

I really like the simplicity of this place. The burgers are delicious, service is always friendly, and the order comes out pretty fast. I would love to see bacon and mushrooms added as condiments plus garlic and seasoned curly fries. The music is great from the 50s through 70s. Overall relaxing and great burgers!

Well, until they get another really good Burger in Kitsap, As a Burger Guy, I have to go with Richie’s for the Best Burger in Kitsap County. This Plain Jane type of Burger spot is not fancy but has a classy old school 50’s style to it. They boast to use only fresh meat. They due have a Veggie Option as well as a Grilled Cheese. As far as Burgers, It is as Close to «In-N-Out style» that we can get up here in the Northwest. The Fries are Great and you can Choose from Shakes, Malts & they have Coke products(Woo Hoo). I even recently noticed they now have Chili too !! I’d have to say to go with the Double Cheeseburger, Loaded and with Regular onions(You may have grilled if you like), It will fill you up but somehow wishing you could have another… MMmmm, It’s that good. Thanks Richie’s for doing what you do…

I made the mistake a few weeks back to going to Sonics in this neck of the woods. Richie’s is handsdown the best burger joint in Poulsbo, and I wont make the mistake again! Don’t expect McDonald’s speed, but the wait is always worth it!

Perfect dbl cheese burger! Staff is welcoming you and does help you, if you can´t decide between all the mouthwatering burgers ;) My dbl cheeseburger felt like a dbl dbl dbl dbl burger; the pattys were perfect, bun as well. French fries are home made and pressed by hand through the machine. The sauces they put on the burger were not my favourite, that´s why my review is «only» 4 stars :) If I will be back in the area, I come again! Thanks

My previous review still stands. As for the veggie burger options, just terrible. :(

Damn. The fresh cut fries, the tasty ass burger. My daughter devoured the burger in a matter of minutes. Every single fry was eaten. I wish there was a location in Seattle! Best bet, we will be coming back to Richie’s every single time we come back to Poulsbo!

At Richie’s Burgers Urge in Poulsbo had a double hamburger no cheese combo. The hamburger was good the fries are stringy soggy but were burnt tasting. The pricing is high for what you get. Not many items on the menu. Does not evoke old time burger to me. They offer a mobile app that you would get $ 3 back the next time. I scanned the QR code, got the app. Scanned the second QR code which was suppose to register me but it didn’t. Ended up getting a paper form and a paper card, which hopefully I can register later with and use my phone then. Big waste of time. The app even admits they fixed the login n the download page, but clearly they haven’t. If you are going to offer a convenience service make sure it works.
