Victoria’s Secret

I come from a family of all women who has been shopping at VS my entire life. Those button down pajamas with the floral pattern were my Mom’s staple when I was a kid, and I’ve worn their bras since I was a tween. Sadly, as an adult I am struggling more and more to find a quality selection of products there.
A few weeks ago I went in and wanted to purchase some bras and panties-I’ve lost 50 lbs and needed a new wardrobe so I was ready to spend money. I was fitted for a bra and found out I am currently a size 32D. After almost 2 hours at VS picking through the product line, they had to call someone in the back to find the only two 32D seamless, plain bras in the store. I was looking for basic panties-​seamless or close to it, mostly cotton (90% or higher) in black or nude and free of crazy logos and thick waistbands. The entire store was almost cleaned out and completely out of smalls. I purchased 5 panties in a style that matched the material type and cut I was looking for, but sadly was only available in neon colors with stripes because it was part of the Pink line.
As much as I enjoy these panties, they are completely impractical for anyone over the age of 30 wearing business attire that may be in tan or white or any fabric that is remotely sheer. I don’t want to bend down at work and have my boss see my neon orange ass.
I went back today to exchange them, hoping they would have more stock available and more items in size small. Although they did have more stock, THERE WERE NO BASIC SEAMLESS PANTIES IN A COTTON TYPE FABRIC without palm trees, boyfriend brief stitch lines, thick waist bands or rave colors. All I want is basic underwear that I can put under professional clothing. Why is this so difficult? Even the lingerie has gone to neon pinks and zebra patterns. Those patterns and colors are cute for the right person, but something I would expect more from Frederick’s of Hollywood than VS. I miss the emerald greens, silk gowns, and classy look of VS in the 90s.
The staff were helpful and tried to help me find something online without luck. The panties I wanted were never even made in neutral colors. While there are many seamless panty options-​they all have rayon or polyester, or some other shiny unbreathable fabric. My lady parts don’t want to be surrounded by the same material that is in tupperware. I know that people at the store level can’t do anything about the design of the product, so I asked for the corporate number where I could provide feedback. I called, went through an automated system that gave me grief because it doesn’t even have the option for customer feed back, and is too stupid to understand what I was asking for over the phone. Than I sat on hold for 10 minutes and now here I am, posting a review. I have some great bras from VS, and love the way they fit and support they provide. I want to keep spending money with this brand, but my God, why are all of their products starting to look like they are designed for 14 year olds and streetwalkers?
DEAR VICTORIA: CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE A LINE OF 90%+ COTTON, SEAMLESS OR CLOSE TO IT PANTIES IN BIKINI AND HIPSTER CUTS, IN NUDE, BLACK AND WHITE, WITH NO THICK WAIST BAND, CRAZY STITCHING, LOGOS, LACE OR TACKY PATTERNS ALL OVER IT? With love, your over 30 customer.

I personally love Victoria’s Secret, sadly no longer for their underwear since it’s such crap quality now a days but I love their clothing, and bras for the most part. That seems to be the only decent things they have to offer. This location though is a little weird to me, it’s a strange lay out and not sectioned off like the other locations, even though it’s slightly clear which side is which (PINK section is off to the left when you walk in) it was still just a strange remodel they did to this location. I’m not the biggest fan of how it’s now set up and stretches all the way to the back and it’s got less to offer at this location. Nothing unique other than you can still buy the mini bottles of body spray here and no longer at the location downtown. Other than that it’s a pretty typical VS. at least the girls here weren’t totally pushy as irritating like most that’s why I gave it 3 stars. They ask you if you need help and then leave you alone, as it should be ! We will find you if we need help. Period.

I know. I know. It’s for women. Yes it is.
It’s also for lucky men. The kind that like to help thier women pick out fun adult item’s. Yuuup. Im a lucky man. My girl is a hottie. She has great taste in clothes and shops at V.S. Of course the V.S. we went to is located in the Lloyd Center Mall and yes It Was Super Busy but the store was clean and well organized. Even though there was a mob of women going through the clothes. The staff were all busy with assisting customers and or reorganising shelves and still friendly.
I pray I never end up here looking for a gift by myself but im more than happy to shop with my lady.

I am writing this review because I feel the need to express myself after my experience at this store. My friend and I were shopping for underwear and were taking our time choosing our five pairs for 26.50. It took us a little longer than it normally would to choose because the merchandise on the table had already been picked through so we had to search for our sizes. The staff was very helpful and sweet, they were far from the problem. The issue was the tall, hulking security guard with the limp who continuously stood over me the entire time I was looking around. She was very rude and had no sense of personal space. After I paid for my stuff, I beeped on the way out because of a tag that got left on something I bought from another store. She then proceeded to hobble over full speed and she looked like she was about to grab me. I offered to show her all of my bags to which she angrily responded with «no that won’t be necessary». It was like she WANTED to catch me stealing from the moment I walked in! I felt extremely disrespected by her behavior and I’m sad that I have to give a three star review to a store that otherwise would’ve gotten a five for service. My advice to that store would be to hire a security guard who actually knows how to do her job without making customers uncomfortable.

Damn you, Victoria’s Secret. Why do you have to send me coupons in the mail and entice me to shop at your store and spend all my moneys?!
This place seems pretty standard as far as VS stores go, but I was a bit disappointed that the sizes in the drawers were mixed up (I accidentally bought a Small while shopping only in the Medium drawers). I refuse to take responsibility for this mix-​up — having the wrong size panties in the drawer is a breach of a sacred trust!
Staff was awesome, helpful and upbeat the first time I stopped in, but nothing of the sort on my next visit. Maybe they just wanted to restore balance to the world? I can’t complain too much because the gentle caress of my insanely comfortable panties is soothing my mind, body and soul as I type this. Wearing VS is a truly magical experience.

Terrible customer service even if you’re lucky to find someone willing & able to assist you. Last week walked in there and went through the entire store for 10 minutes and didn’t find one person to help me. No, it wasn’t even sale time and there weren’t many other customers.
The few times before I had tried a few things on. One sales girl got fed up with me and passed me onto someone else because I told her my size. She scoffed and insisted on measuring me because I must not know my own body better than her, afterwards she said they don’t carry my size and tried to push «sister size» on me and I rolled my eyes. I still tried on the stuff she recommended for me and was busting out. So terrible.
Listen up Victoria’s Secret, «Sister Size» is BS! People are their measurement plain and simple. Stop spending so much time tailoring this god-​awful over-​lit sterile looking environments with pop sensation to tweens and try to get your longer running customers back. You are no longer Secret and Victoria would be ashamed of you.

I love shopping at VS. Especially when they have their Semi-​Annual sale going on. This location in particular is pretty well stocked. I haven’t had too many problems finding items in my size (S in panites and 36D in bras). The staff is very friendly and is available whenever you need assistance.
The store is very big and is nicely laid out. The entrance in nice and large which helps during the big sales events. The store is conveniently attached to the VS Beauty store which often has sales on their new and seasonal items.

I shop here often, specially when they have a free panty or $ 10 off for a purchase of a bra, and that’s when I buy my favorite style.
I’ve gotten lingerie there, specially the sleepwear. When I go, just stopping by, and they happened to have a sale, and your size & color AND style is on sale, that’s when you know you’ve hit a jackpot!
There’s only one bra that I wasn’t very pleased, only because of the stitching on one style, EVEN THOUGH they recommend hand-​washing, I wash ALL my undies by machine and dry them by machine. This one particular style, came un-​glued. So, don’t buy ‘stuff’ that are glued!
I also notice ONE bra, same style same size as those I’ve bought in the past few years, is 2″ shorter (where the hooks & eyes were sewn) making that one bra tighter. I have to buy a extender so I can breath! No, it’s not because they’ve shrunk, bras don’t shrink in width!

I’m surprise how many people don’t shop at Lloyd Center’s VS. Their store is very well layed out. I like the openness of the two way entrances. It helps when the store gets extremely crowded during those ½ bra sale. You ladies know exactly what I’m talking about.
Personally, I’m not a huge fan of their quality, but their designs are very pretty and some bras can accommodate 50+ styles. Who knew bras had such functionality. If you don’t know what size you are, or think you know; they have trained employees who can tell you your true size. Maybe it’s better you don’t know. LOL.
What I really like about this store is the people that work there. We’re always so friendly, accommodating, and some you rarely see anymore from stores — teamwork. They truly work hard and I applause them for their diligence.
If you don’t find what you want there are over 100+ stores in the mall to shop from. And, if you want to hold off and think it over, there are over 100+ stores to let you compare prices and decide.

I prefer shop online for VS stuff just because I scored pretty good deals lately online compared to buy at the store. I stopped by at this VS to get some stocking stuffers since I have $ 10 off coupon and free panty coupon. I ended up only paying $ 15 for 5 PINK undies.
I just don’t understand why these ladies were asking women if they need to be measured. I can understand if they were doing this when it’s dead in the store, but there were tons of women with big shopping bags and impatient husbands/​boyfriends who look like they are suffering minute by minute when they were in that store.
Three stars just because it’s a VS store. So so service and undying «Do you need to be measured today?» took away two stars. Bam! Just like that.
