This is wonderfully located on 23rd and burnside amid many wonderful shops. That staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. Whenever they don’t have an item in store, they always offer to have it shipped to my house(with free shipping). Obviously portland is super focused on buying local and for many things I do just that. But as far as buying things that aren’t local, urban is my cheat! And I’m glad my cheat can be at a location with such a great staff.

I didn’t realize people still shopped here. The staff is rude and not willing to help, they always look miserable, and I would be too if I worked for such a shitty company. Do your part and stop shopping here. There are infinitely better stores in the world to succumb to overpriced hipster bullshit they’re trying to sell you.

Horrible service!!! I spend a lot of money at UBO and how I was treated in the store on NW23PDX was was more sad for them than for me. Don’t waste your time nor money here!!! I bought a 300 $ dress and when they could not get the tag/censor off(the unprofessional staff) they got agro and annoyed very fast with me and my partner. Horrible customer service. Nw 23 lost so much business do to their poor staff!

I always go into Urban Outfitters with high hopes. Maybe because I don’t go in that often. I’ll visit perhaps once or twice a year and so I sort of forget how crappy yet expensive the clothes are. Most recently I went in and did see one very cute dress however, I’m pretty sure I could find something comparable at Nordstrom. Seriously? $ 179.00 for a dress at Urban Outfitters? Besides that ONE cute, way overpriced dress, there was a whole lot of really ugly, equally overpriced crap in there. Some of it even looked rather, gasp, matronly. There’s other interesting odds n’ends to look at. Flasks, lamps, record players, etc. The books are often quite entertaining. I still have a book that I bought many years ago while I was shopping under the influence. Turns out the book is just as funny when I’m sober. I can’t remember ever being acknowledged by the people that work there. That bugs me. I don’t like spending my money at places that ignore me. A simple hello would be satisfactory. I’ll eventually repress my irritation and I’ll be back for another round of disappointment.
