Unleashed by Petco

I was loving this place since it opened for a convenient and economical choice for bathing my 65 lb dog.
But… the management has started to have employees heavily dilute the shampoo they provide. This was confirmed by a staff member. A whole bottle of shampoo and no lather. Come on… Stop being so cheap multi million dollar company.
And water temperature is virtually impossible to regulate. It didn’t used to be like this…

I really liked this place! They keep the store really clean and welclcoming. Very Nice people work there. It is very convenient that they have self wash station. I can bring my dirty dog and They have everything else. My dog is happy and clean. It is only $ 10. Thank you so much!

This is a great little store. staff is helpful, friendly and so patient with my crazy newfie. We have done the training classes with Rebecca and will keep continuing to go for each level. the one on one is nice and she has been so helpful in so many ways. Mia loves her. The bath area is great too. go to the river. stop by and bath your dog with no wait. if you need help just ask them they are more than accommodating.

Will never take my dog here again. So they have plenty of treats the dog washing area is inadequate to say the least. The water went cold the towels were flimsy and the bath tub’s themselves were not easy to use. $ 10 is a low price point but it wasn’t even worth that.

Great self-​service dog wash for only $ 10.
Amazing employees! I was helped by three different employees on my recent visit (one helped me get my dog set up for a bath, one helped get a tag engraved, and one helped me find a certain food). All three went above and beyond! I was blown away by how friendly, professional, and knowledgeable they were. I’ll definitely be coming back here next time my dog needs a bath (soon!).

Unleashed was great! Super friendly, clean and fast. I would highly recommend unleashed for a self-​service dog wash.

I have literally been coming here every week or two for years now to bathe my 70 pound dog (without having to bust my back at home with a crappy drier) … And for the first time today, I was told that «new corporate policy» says that I can’t use the grooming tables to dry my dog. He weighs too much. Seriously?! It’s worked just fine up until now … And so has the 10+ year old one that I have at home, which is mysteriously built the same way. Meanwhile, I have personally watched much larger, less well behaved dogs uses said tables with no issue either. Hmm. Looks like I just saved myself $ 40 bucks a month to stay at home. As soon as we entered the store, my group and I were asked if we needed any help. The two staff members, Abe and Amanda were so great to give us recommendations on different items we were looking for. The store has so many great selections and an area to bathe your dog for $ 10! Amanda was so sweet to my sisters two huskies! She asked if she could give them treats and they loved it! We spent some time talking about how Oregon was so dog friendly and how many of the animals in local humane societies came from Los Angeles. Thank you for a pleasant experience! I wish there were more people like you working at every pet supply store!

This place is amazing! Not only am I able to bath and dry my three saint Bernards… I get to pick up all the good I want and need for them all in the same place!!!
The employees are so helpful, and always there to answer any questions you may have.
They also hold a vaccine clinic once a month, with no visit fees, just vaccines! It is suck a good deal, especially when your pup just needs their rabies shot!.. they also do vaccine sets. so nice and convenient!
I love love love this place, and wont go anywhere else!

1^st time here on 39^th in Portland, and worked like a charm. Two dogs, no waiting. I was able to wash both dogs in one «tub» and thought it was a bargain.

This place is awesome! They have the best self-​washing dog station ever and the price is right! I called around and visited other places for washing my dog and this is the only place I will go!
Unlimited shampoo, towels, and all the frees cookies my dog Oz can eat when we are there. $ 10!
They have grain free cheesey loops in the bulk section!

My go to for a dog wash. $ 10 a wash. Includes shampoo, brush, towels and a dryer. It is do it yourself. Staff is always helping. Can accommodate large and small dogs. I wash my 70+ lab. I use my own shampoo because I love the smell. I’ve only had to wait once and it was for less than 5 mins. They have 3 washing stations.

I love Unleashed. At first, I was not sure what this store was just hearing and seeing the name. It turns out it is a pet store affiliated with Petco, but made more «boutiquey» carrying more orgainic stuff for our pets. I like that it’s not a huge warehouse full of things I need to search through. I’m either in or out if I am just grabbing something particular, like fish oil or I am searching and researching for the best pet products without having to search the entire Petco store. The staff is always friendly and pets are always welcome! At the back of the store there is a spot where you can do it yourself wash your dog. I have a yorkie, so I never need to, but if I had a big dog, I can see how it’s very convenient.
Bonus: Open till 9.

This location is great! They carry everything I need to keep my pets happy & healthy, which of course, is my number one priority. Their customer service is just the added icing on the cake to keep me coming back every time I need something. They are my go to spot for EVERYTHING I need for my pets.
The associates, every single one, are so knowledgeable about the products they carry. I was even able to call over the phone once and ask the name of the cat food by describing the isle. Ha! They did it and knew which one of the canned foods I was talking about. (I was already out of town when the house/​catsitter called and asked where the cats treats were. *facepalm* I forgot to buy them! yeah yeah. Bad kitty auntie.) Anyways, he had the cat food up front and ready for her to get and it worked out greatly. Stoked. So was kitty.
They do dog training and carry natural, no BS animal food. They have a great selection of dog cookies and costumes and clothing! The toy selection is spot on. heehee get it. Spot? Ok kinda lame. But not this place. :)
Kitty litter by bulk. Collars with dainty things. Kitty condos, reasonably priced. A lot of outfits. I love it! Then when you think that’s it. Nope. ‘ol Spot needs a bath and YOU get to do it. Towards the back of the store, its a do it yourself wash station. I’m not sure on pricing but can find out and update.
I really like this place. Very helpful and they stand by their products. I have no doubt if I bought something and was not happy that I could talk with them to figure it out. A great store for sure! Who doesn’t love a gift card? :)

This place is the best! All the staff is great, friendly and happy to assist you and your pet. I feel at home every time I come in and they remember my pets names! Their return policy is second to none, they stand by their products. We need more stores like this.
Matthew the dog trainer is amazing. He has helped us so much with our 2 rescue Pitbulls. He is patient and knowledgeable. We just signed up for level two classes.

Came here for the self-​service dog wash and for $ 10 it is a good value. There are a variety of shampoos available for your use and the area was very clean with no bad odors. However, they do not provide bibs, rubber gloves or grooming tools that other self-​service washes provide but I was still able to clean my dog just fine. The blow dryer was very good but they need more than one since I was waiting more than 10 minutes for the other person to finish — minus one star for that.
As for the store experience, the associates greet you with a smile right when you enter and are extremely helpful. I’ve never experienced this at a normal Petco or PetSmart.
Another star off for the location and parking. If you come here during peak hours good luck turning onto Powell and if you have a large vehicle parking is a challenge if there are not many spaces left. Also at this intersection there are lots of riff raff so make sure to be aware of your surroundings.
I probably won’t come here again due to the location and I’d rather pay $ 5 more at this other self-​service dog wash that I normally go to on Hawthorne as they have bibs, grooming tools and don’t have to wait for a dryer.

I first came to this store because awhile back, we were playing with our puppy in Laurelhurst Park and a nice girl gave us a toy ball and a coupon to go there.
I have to say that this store is always nice and tidy. It just looks fresh and cool inside. :)
My 2^nd visit there, I had questions about transitioning from puppy to adult food, and also a change for our kitty food. Tracy worked with me, and spent time talking to me and explaining things. She also helped me pick out some cool, yummy, fish flakes for kitty treats. :)
AND she also gave me some catnip toys! :)
Will definitely keep coming back here. :)
