Great food, fast service, awesome amount of outlets for studying. It’s a small place, but there’s always space to find a table and hangout. One barista is very grumpy and short… I always seem to get him. He’s my only reason for giving this coffeeshop one star.

The girl with the short dark hair is one of the rudest people I’ve ever come into contact with. Not only is she rude to every customer, but she slams things around as she works. She needs to keep her snarky comments to herself. I love Tiny’s, but because of the childish girl, I will be going elsewhere. She was working the opened shift in Saturday, March 26th.

I’ve been disappointed with the service both times I gave this place a try. Two different female baristas with the exact same unenthused, lackadaisical attitudes. I’m certainly not a person who barks orders at anyone; I’m in the service industry myself and make a point to always say hello and ask the person how they are doing. But these girls had unwarranted, pretentious attitudes that made me feel unwelcome. I’m sorry if you’re tired at 7 am, but you chose to make people coffee for a living. There are too many local coffee shops with chipper, sweet baristas – at least PRETEND to appreciate your customers! This morning I chose Floyd’s Coffee on 14th& Morrison and had a great conversation with the friendly barista.

Great coffee. Good bagel sandwiches. And lovely staff. Couldn’t ask for a nicer coffee shop in my neighborhood.

The friendliest service I’ve come across in a long time. Great tasting coffee(hot or iced), and my girlfriend vouches for the lattes. Nice selection of fresh, well priced baked goods as well. Can’t speak to the quality of their sandwiches but I hope to try them soon. Oh and they sell beer!

Coffee’s good, bagels are good, but I mostly just come in to crush on that black barista who is singing Prince and TLC behind the counter.

Coffee is smooth, rich, and flavorful. Parking is a beast. Ambience/atmosphere is «portlandesque» and a bit on the hipster side. The«Tilt» sandwich was on point and worth the wait. 3 stars…

Funky little Portland coffee house. Friendly service, strong coffee and great atmosphere. Indoor & Outdoor seating. A little noisy at the out front seating, but the back patio/deck seating is quaint & comfy! This was my first visit, I met with clients who live nearby. I will definitely visit again.

I don’t rate service, ambiance, cleanliness and wait times; they are too variable. I can put up with anything if the food is good. It is all about the food– that’s it. All of my ratings are based on vegan options only. Notes: I just got cheap tea, and it tasted like cheap bagged tea.

I really like the coffee here, and the bagel sammies are good. The prices are reasonable, the service is mostly nice and I love the fact that they have crossword puzzles for you while you chill or wait. However, I’ve had a few of their lunch sandwiches and found them to be pretty plain and bare-bones. After getting two mediocre ones I probably wouldn’t order a sandwich again. They also have gotten some big rushes in the morning around 7:15 a.m. when there is just one person on staff who has to hustle around to try to help the 8 people who just walked in the door. I’d suggest staffing an extra person around 7 a.m. so people on their way to work aren’t left waiting over 10 minutes for their coffee/breakfast.

When you’re jonesin’ for a caffeine fix late in the day, Portland usually has you covered six ways from Sunday. I went into Tiny’s about 5 minutes past 8pm, and although they didn’t close until 9pm, they had cleaned their espresso machine and were therefore not making any more espresso-based drinks. Luckily they did have(pre-made) iced coffee, so I didn’t walk away empty-handed, but still, take note if you’re looking for java and it’s within an hour of closing time.

Decent veggie pizza bagel, although somewhat burnt, but the baristas were pretty grumpy and unwelcoming. The barista frowned upon me greeting her, then did her barista shpeal at an inaudible volume. A fly then landed on her forehead, and she only had enough energy to make an even bigger frown rather than shoeing it away. She probably hates her job, but that’s no excuse for treating me like she hates me. I should have gone to Starbucks.

I have a tiny crush on every girl that works here. It’s like they all got together and were like, «Hey, let’s all be really friendly and have great tattoos and killer smiles and make mochas that knock your socks off.» And then they did. ================== || BYTHENUMBERS || ================== WiFi: 4⁄5 Service: 5⁄5 Food: 4⁄5 Noise: Average Seating: Plenty Power: Plenty

Good Coffee, straight up service, nice sandwiches. They do all that fancy foam art in your coffee and sometimes I feel bad for drinking it cause it will look so nice. Both locations, very good.

Three strikes you’re out Tiny’s! I’ve lived in Portland my whole life, and the bad attitude I’ve gotten from Tiny’s female employees the last few times I’ve been in is what makes me sad for the new portland. I’ve been friendly every time and have been met with snide looks, complete lack of decency and slammed down coffee pots. Get your act together gals.

Tiny’s is a sweet little spot. I usually come in just as they’re opening or just before closing. I prefer the morning vibe, and the employee that’s usually there is friendly and efficient even before he’s had his coffee even if he does sometimes look a little frazzled. Coffee is good, their baked goods I’m not a huge fan of but working in a bakery I’m far too picky. Emily’s Breakfast(I think) is my new favorite coffee shop breakfast and I’ve started serving my home meals on a bed of spinach as well because. spinach. Points awarded for: Serving beer Open late Earliest opening coffee nearby non-pretentiousness If they were open 24 hours this would probably replace SE Grind as my nighttime hangout. I guess this is some sort of hipster paradise according to other reviews… maybe I’m a hipster? Who cares.

Don’t penalize the decaf drinker. The food was ok, the decaf americano was ok. Would have been 3 stars but for the coffee issue. I only drink decaf. My choice. Most places accommodate with a americano as a substitute, no extra charge because it’s less expensive to them than keeping a fresh pot of decaf on with few drinkers. It’s a net gain because you’re upgrading someone. When you only leave the choice of paying more for a decaf americano or doing without, some people get irritated. Some get pissed. I got irritated. So, I usually get a refill of coffee after my first cup. Coffee refill, 75 cents. Decaf refill? NONEFORYOU! Full price for a new americano. Again, I know there is more labor costs for an americano. It’s not like they’re gabbing away back there most of the time. Haha. Ease up. Don’t discriminate. Maybe you’d be a 4 star instead of a mere 3 stars.

If you’ve some how managed to miss the hordes of over educated, privileged hipsters doing nothing that Portland is fast becoming famous for this coffee shop is a hotbed of them doing what they do best– doing nothing and smoking cigs. I went here cause I had heard there was a nice patio here and being as Oregon has a non-smoking workplace law I knew it would be a nice smoke free place. Imagine my surprise when I come out to a patio covered in cigarette with folks in their skinniest pants and unkept facial hair smoking up RIGHTINFRONT of no smoking signs. Confused I deciding to ask the counter person once I could get her attention(she was too busy singing Country roads and talking to a hipster boy to do anything mundane as take a drink order and she explain that they had to put up those sign since some dared to call the city to enforce the law and that by having the signs, it wasn’t their responsiblity if someone choose to smoke out there. Perfect white hipster logic there– we aren’t going to follow the law but we are going to make sure we don’t have to pay for breaking the law. The drinks are crap. They have a minimum for using a debit card even though there is no different in charge and it’s a scam. The music is hipster ironic, played too loud and I’m guessing the barista is really«a musician» for the all the off key singing that she did to Dolly Parton whom she clearly loves but not enough to even learn all the words. Avoid this place unless you are a hipster, if you are you will love it and you can increase your cancer risk which is probably not a problem since some how even without jobs you manage to have health insurance.

This small coffee shop located near the infamous Hawthorne food carts delivers on the amazing coffee and better than average bagel sandwiches. The chill vibe is really inviting and there are tables outside to sit and watch the cars go by. Great little neighborhood place to become a regular at.
