Super fast and friendly service even when busy. Shipping packages from here was ALOT less painful then USPS. And thank you to Carissa for all your help and professionalism!

I went in yesterday to simply drop off a package, no hello, no how can I help, no thank you, nothing …
when he was taping the package shut he caught my hair with his tape gun… and said NOTHING — NO SORRY, NOTHING

After 2 full years of renting a mailbox here for my business and using the small business services available at the UPS store, I can say that they have been a huge support for me. There’s not always time in the day for what I need to accomplish. They’ve always been immediately attentive to customers, successfully received and shipped well over 100 important packages for me, and made an obvious effort to reach out and offer their assistance wherever they can. Theres a reason they’re constantly moving around in there so quickly appearing to be on a mission. It’s because they’re kicking ass. I feel like everyone there is doing their part and Carissa is always ultra — friendly and helpful.
In regards to some of the reviews here, I get that people would like to spend as little as possible on shipping, but the UPS store is there to provide a service and is there for your convenience, but is also in business to make money like everyone else. Ask the price first, and if it’s not worth it to you, then ship it yourself or just decline the service. It’s not that complicated.

Living and working in this neighborhood, I am amazed at why anyone would wait to mail anything from the Hollywood post office when you can get anything mailed from this UPS store. Now if you’ve ever been in the Hollywood post office at 3 pm when they only have one employee working and an average wait is ½ hour, you know my pain. So when I went to the UPS store and got everything MAILED both domestically and internationally in about 10 minutes with no wait, I was out of my mind with excitement. BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE. Caleb helped me and he didn’t just mail everything UPS, he actually took the time to price compare which was going to be cheaper and/​or faster. So some of my items went UPS and some of my items went US mail. Not like that’s ever going to happen at the post office. And then he explained the tracking for everything and made sure I had all the receipts. And did I mention they have notaries 7 days a week? I don’t know how the shipping is here but I know that for all the little office things that are niggling and can eat up time in a busy day, the UPS store is super efficient alternative!

I went this morning to fax paperwork for a financial assistance program. I should have asked how much it would cost because 23 bucks later and now i have to figure out how to get milk for my toddler. Who charges 23 dollars for a fax? Thats horrible. Shame on you UPS. Never again.

The owner was fast and to the point. 3 of us needed passport photos 2 of us needed a notary. We were in an out in 10 minutes. Fast service always makes this mom of 2 littles very happy.

While I appreciate your right to act out like a child in your own store, I suggest you do so without throwing customers boxes to the ground in your rage of misguided frustration. If I wanted to see an adult have a tantrum, I’d watch Fox news. I’d hate to think how you treat our things when we’re not around. I don’t know what’s going on with you man, but it seems like quite a bit. It’s probably best not to go off or mad dog/​stink eye people when they ask you a question, only to have you ignore them. We shall never return and I bet neither will anyone else you feel the need to belittle in your sorry attempt to make yourself feel important. Truly the single worst customer experience I’ve witnessed in years. Didn’t realize that UPS also stood for Unbelievably Petty Schmuck.

The customer service at this store is the best in town! I have been going to this store for the past 2 years, sometimes multiple times a week and every time they are very professional, attentive and nice. I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes to talk to someone, weather it’s to send a package or use the computers. My last visit I had mentioned I needed a package sent but it was too big to fit in my car, the gentlemen helping me didn’t hesitate for a minute and said he could stop by my house and pick it up– now that is customer service! I always have a good experience at this location and will keep going back for many more years!

Their is something wrong with this man Kamal, I went in to ship a package he provided me a written estimate, I went home to collect the money from my eBay account came back with my package and noticed the package cost was less then my written estimate. I thought I was saving money till I realized he had package shimmed my dimensions. If I would have mailed my package out by leaving it in the store for them to finish packing it I would have paid $ 14.00 more for my cost. All I can say is Boycott this dishonest store owner

This is one of the best UPS stores in Portland! The service that Kamal and his team provides is outstanding! I had three very large packages to ship. I mean LARGE. Two weighed over 100LBS each. I was only able to bring one of the large boxes and a medium/​large box in my trip to the store. Knowing that I had to go home to get the other large box, Kamal had one of his guys follow me home and pick up the box. Now that is first class customer service!
I will continue to support this neighborhood UPS store!

No help … No one cares if your even in there … I lost my package and now I’m desperately trying to find my receipt to prove I took it in to the personally … This is literally the worst experience I have had in a ups store

Horrible experience! The owner typed in the wrong information, wrong name, address, return address. I didn’t realize it until I got home and when I called he assured me he would correct it. Two days later I got an email from UPS telling me the package was undeliverable; he hadn’t fixed it. It was my son’s Christmas gifts. In addition, he overcharged me by $ 8 for one box and $ 10 for another, that’s $ 19 I would have unnecessarily paid because he didn’t give me any choices but just charged the max hoping I would simply pay. When I asked why it was so exorbitant he then offered me options reducing the cost.
I won’t ever go back to this store. They’ll scam you if you don’t keep your eye out, not to mention the errors which btw I still haven’t gotten ironed out.

ConsistAnt, professional and courteous. Been going to this ups store for years. I’m always treated with respect. The guys there box up my stuff and presto… It’s always arrived to far flung destinations on time. The guy who owns the place is very friendly. The negative reviews I’m reading are absurd. This place is highly transactional as it should be. They move fast and that’s the way it should be. They see a lot of customers every day. So yes, they probably get a few Unilocal whiners… But really… This place is terrific and gets the job done.

This is by far one of the best UPS stores in the area. I drive out of my way (bypassing another UPS Store) just to shop here. They are fast, accurate, helpful and informative.
Excellent track record with me so far and I hope for years to come!

Kamal badly lacks professionalism and customer service. Unfortunately, he knows nothing about accountability and has no recollection of what he says or did not say. If this is important to you, coming here for services would be a tremendous DIS-​service. After informing him I would tell people of my experience, he said, «I don’t care.» Is very apparent he does not like what he does.

I have used this UPS store twice, 1 time to ask about shipping costs and the second time to drop off a package. Both times the manager (I’m assuming) was very rude. He rushed me through the process, snapped at me when I asked questions and in general treated me as though he was irritated by my very existence and inconvenienced by my being at the UPS Store to ship a package. This occurred both times, and he was also rude and snappy to his employee. This employee was just a young kid and he was very nice and certainly did not deserve to be treated like an idiot. This one experience has basically motivated me to never use UPS ever again if I can help it. I treat all service workers with respect and kindness as I have had similar jobs. There was no excuse for his rudeness to me.

I live in the neighborhood, and have been frequently coming to the store for over five years for all my shipping needs. They have always been incredibly helpful and efficient. No need to ever go to the post office again!

I write this for all those selfless UPS, FedEx, Parcels Plus etc folks out there… this is indeed a thankless job… and yes, friendly customer service is critical but I get a laugh out of some of the negative reviews… let’s rate relatively. this is not Neiman Marcus. nor a 5 star hotel… it’s a UPS store!
Remember these are essentially private businesses that pay franchising fees to Carry the UPS brand… they are a for profit operation so yeah… expect «fees»…it’s about convenience… sometimes you need to pay for it.
UPS stores should be viewed like the USPS …99.999% of the time your crap gets to it’s destination in one piece… good enough for me.
I had to return some shoes, had a prepaid UPS label… a free drop off. they were still super friendly and we chatted for a while. I’ll be back. because its convenient!:)
If you want to rate client service let’s start with a 4 Seasons hotel… When I Pay $ 400 a night it should be expected… at the UPS store. dude just done break my crap.

Just received a stained glass panel (5.5″ x 3′) that was sent from Portland, OR to Denver, CO by this store. Arrived in perfect condition!
I had first taken the panel to FedEx as they were closer to my location. However, they said they couldn’t send it as they had no way to pack it.
So, off to the UPS Store where they were extremely polite and had no qualms about shipping it.
