This was the weirdest improv show I’ve ever seen, in a bad way. I felt like I was stuck in a terrible SNL skit that was going off the rails. They started the show with only 2 audience suggestions and incorporated them in such a way that the whole show could have been scripted. Too bad it wasn’t, maybe it would have been funnier. The strangest part was that everyone else was laughing at the slightest provocation! Maybe everyone in the audience was drunk, or this just wasn’t my type of humor. Either way, I’d be very wary of paying to see this show.

OMFG. Dom-Prov – These guys are SO hilarious. We laughed damn hard and had a great time. For $ 10 each(cash only) this was a great night. Moreover, the actors make no money– so be sure to give ‘em a big tip… cause they work hard! And… this isn’t for the faint of stomach… consider yourself warned.

I saw 2 of their shows back to back: a PG13 show and then an adults-only show. The PG13 was ok, truly, if you have early teenage kids it’s a great thing to take them to. As an adult I was left feeling like, «They are alright for amateurs.» I wasn’t really engaged in the show for younger audiences, perhaps because I’m not one of them. it wasn’t bad, it just didn’t grab me. My guy liked it well enough, he was surprised I was blasé about that show. But I gave the 5 stars didn’t I? Yes. That’s because of the adults-only show. I laughed so hard for 2 hours that I cried repeatedly, I almost wet my pants at one point and my cheeks were still sore the next afternoon. My guy laughed just as hard as I did. And it never stopped. Never. It’s been a few days now and we are still talking it over and laughing at it. Seriously, best amateur improv for adults I have ever seen, and I have seen a fair few in my travels.

It was a brisk, rainy Saturday night when two old friends walked into the Funhouse Lounge without any idea of what we were in for and laughed for a couple of hours. The Unscriptables were a very nice surprise to find off SE11th and Division. The comedy was sharp, the lines were well delivered and the theme(Harry Potter farce) was magic. I would definitely go again and take friends. This place deserves to be a hit.

I attended the show«The Uninvited: Tennessee Williams with Zombies». It was entertaining especially grandpa. I plan to make the other shows and they’re running through the 30th of April. There will be video catch ups at each show so you don’t fall behind.

While I’m sad that Trenton and Andy are no longer in San Diego, I’m excited that they are putting their god given talents back into action in Portland. I was up in the area last month for business and was able to catch their Survivor Show. They have assembled a great group of improvisers and put on a hilarious performance. I highly recommend you check out their shows — always a great fun time. And if you have any interest in learning more about Improv for performance, business, or personal improvement — Trenton is top notch! He has the skills to make people new to performance comfortable and push trained improvisers to the next level. You’re a lucky city Portland — you have a great things going for you with The Unscriptables!
