Before the cart closed for the winter, I was a regular. Lori, the owner, makes INCREDIBLE texmex. I’m from the Southwest and it’s hard to find good texmex in Portland, but this cart does it right. Five stars, would recommend.

Me and a friend ate here one day for lunch. I will have to admit its looks like a interesting place to eat but the smell was delicious. We both got a burrito and chips n salsa to go & the whole time we were there, someone was smoking a cig near the cart. I don’t know if it was a «employee» or a friend, w-e, but if restaurants don’t allow smoking inside or even close near then they should apply the same rules no acceptation even if it’s a small food cart outside in a «community yard». Also how do you keep your cart covered from bugs, flies, birds, animals, etc when there is never no cover or protection at night from such things.

I just moved to the neighborhood and I’ve checked out most of the food around N Denver. There’s good stuff and this cart is by far the stand out. This should be on any list of Portland must-tries, up there with all the best. The menu changes and everything is fantastic. The brisket smokes all day and is amazing in a burrito! And the courtyard is adorable, complete with chickens!

I was so excited to come here. It was a beautiful day and I was looking forward to some delicious tex mex food al fresco. I went with my husband and my baby at around 6:30 pm for dinner. We ordered brisket burritos and some waters and sat down. We were seated for 5 minutes when the folks, who I will assume are the owners or affiliated with this establishment, began smoking. There aren’t that many seats in the place so it’s not like we could move. So I changed my order to go. When we got home and opened up our to go boxes the burritos were very small. I’m sure they were delicious but we wanted a dinner not a snack. Besides, the burritos were $ 9 each and while we were waiting she never gave us our waters.(We never got to taste the burritos since we went back and returned them.) If the people that were smoking near us and our child were indeed affiliated with this establishment they obviously didn’t care if we returned. Selling cart food at sit down restaurant prices and on top of that providing very little of said food is unfortunate. Don’t come here if you want a meal and a nice place to sit with your family.

Good food, very nice people! The chicken quesadilla was excellent, with a perfect amount of vegetables, and the spices on the tortilla give it a delicious flavor. They even gave me a side of beans no charge, since it was my first visit! There is a nice area to sit and relax, and they’re open late… And of course, seeing a fuzzy little piglet running around is always enjoyable.

I didn’t even make it two blocks before the frito pie I ordered had disappeared. The chili was one of the best I’ve ever had. Hands down. My girlfriend is gluten free, but Lori was determined to make it just as memorably scrumptious for her! Talk about some dank nachos. The courtyard it sits in makes you feel right at home. Everyone’s super friendly. The fire pits rock my world. I can’t say enough. Thanks for opening this place. Just what Kenton needed! Go there now and eat all of the things. You won’t regret it!

A cute walk-up stand with grill. Best quesadilla I’ve had in quite awhile — well seasoned, with pulled chicken. Very friendly owner. Using the courtyard as outdoor dining. Recommended if you are in the area.
