I am constantly on the search for the diamond in the rough, this place isn’t it. The food and quality is on par with that of Taco Bell… perhaps that was too harsh, same level but more authentic? I don’t recommend it.

This is a walk into a authentic mexican grocery store with a restaurant inside. Very good food. I get the barbacoa plate and I love it

Lots and lots of meat along with lots of pandulce! It’s hard trying to find Mexican candy in Portland but they have what I want to fill my spicy Mexican candy cravings.

Wow! Can I have some more stars to check off please? This place earns it’s name, and is now my new go to place to eat Mexican food. More on that later. You know how most Mexican grocerias are kind of «third world»? Not here. This store is super clean, well stocked, and reasonably priced. Cleaner than the former Albertsons it once was. The nearly store length meat counter is full of beautiful cuts of beef, pork, chicken and sea food. Some are marinated like the al pastor, beef barbacoa, and fajita skirt steak. Some are cooked, like the carnitas, barbacoa, grilled chicken, and ready to take home for dinner. You can get a package of 1 ½ pounds of carnitas, 20 tortillas, 1 lb. of beans, 1 lb. of rice to go for $ 16.99 Dinner for 4 for under $ 20! They have shrimp ceviche and shrimp cocktails. They have their own well stocked bakery, and fruit plate/smoothie stand in the back. Funny thing, it has been closed every time I come in. They told me that she sets up in store, is not part of the franchise, and only comes in when she feels like it! LOL But the main reason for my review is the in store taqueria. I had the 3 tacos plate with rice and beans for $ 5.99 I chose carne asada,(grilled steak) carnitas,(pork fried in lard) and beef barbacoa. The barbacoa is super tender, melt in your mouth chunks of beef simmered in a spicy(not hot) sauce. The asada is very good, Their delicious carnitas are done exactly right! I would know, I am an admitted carnitas junkie. Tacos can also be had for $ 1.25 each. Done exactly as in Mexico, in the double little corn tortillas with onion and cilantro garnish, and with a choice of about 6 different salsas. I can’t wait to try the al pastor, sopes, huraches, grilled chicken, burritos, tortas, goat birria, pozole and oh yes, the breakfasts. Huevos rancheros, huevos con chorizo, breakfast burritos, etc. My dining partner opted for the chili relleno which was filled from stem to stern with a full half inch of creamy Mexican white cheese,(queso fresco) dipped in the foamy eggie batter, and fried, served in a pool of delectable tomato broth. Very delicious. No you can’t have a margarita or a beer here, but if you want a traditional home made style Mexican meal exactly how you get it in Mexico, this is the place.

Very friendly, helpful staff, incredible meat, seafood, fresh and hot deli. Items you won’t find in lesser Latino markets. Chicirones or pickled pigs ears anyone? The best ceviche de camaron and pescado!!! Several fresh salsas– I wish I lived next door!!!

This place has everything you will ever need. Also, their deli is probably my favorite place to be.

This place isn’t exactly convenient, but if you’re looking for quality Mexican ingredients, it’s worth the drive. I was looking for pork belly at New Seasons, but they don’t carry it there, which is odd. Anyway, one of the butchers suggested I check out Supermercados, and I’m glad I did. I ended up getting some dried chiles from their vast selection, and they’re sold bulk, so you can choose a few different kinds without having to buy a full package. The meat selection is huge and they have a lot of marinated cuts. The hot foods/deli selection is huge. Tons of hot foods and there’s a made to order taqueria and seating area to enjoy your tacos. This place has it all. I’m telling you, it’s worth the drive.

Great selection of homemade salsas. Their salsa de molcajete is lovely and the Pollo tamales were great too. They have a large variety of meats, pastries and produce. Excellent service and and attentive staff. Awesome deli/grocery store! The salsa alone will keep me coming back.

The best Carne Asada in Portland! Best Carnitas, Best salsas. This store has it all, It’s clean, well stocked with hard to find Latin products. Great meat department carne asada pre– marinaded as well as hot food. It also has a fantastic bakery. Did I mention this store is clean and so very well organized. Well deserved *****5 star from me. Worth the trip to 174th and Division. They even gave me a free 2 ltr soda at checkout.

It has a very large display cabinet of freshly butchered meats, seafood, salsas, and other items you need for a mexican feast. The prepareed carnitas and chicarrones were perfect, crunch and full of flavors. The vegetable dept was limited in comparison with the meat dept.

The best Mexican grocer and deli I’ve seen in our area. It reminds me a lot of the Mariana’s chain in Nevada. We got to try both the Carnitas and the Al Pastor Tacos there for lunch and both were excellent. We plan to go back and get one of their family-style takeout dinners soon which appear to be a great value.

We stumbled in here today while driving down Division: what a pleasant surprise! The giant meat case is full of reasonably priced, tasty items and was decorated with a giant pig’s head. We got seasoned boneless/skinless chicken for $ 2.99 a pound. The sauce by the pound bar is exciting and so are most of the other foods in the case. The employees behind the case were very friendly and cheerful. The store was clean and seemed well stocked. I’m not Mexican, so can’t really say if something was missing, but it was a fun little market to go through. The dinner we made was super tasty too. We will definitely be back.

Nice employees, clean store, tasty pastries and all the dried chiles and canned hominey one would ever want. They have a large meat selection with excellent cuts you can’t find at your local Safeway or Freddies. Their bakery selection is also quite great. They make cakes as well as pan dulce. Can’t say one bad thing about this place. There is a taqueria near the meat counter like at most Mexican supermercados. I didn’t try anything but plenty of people looked pretty happy munching away. Employees speak English and Spanish and when I checked out having spent $ 60 I got a free orange 2 liter of Fanta soda. Can’t beat that service.

I found out about this place from a flyer in my mailbox. It seemed like a bit far to drive for a good sale on meat and salsa, but I am so glad I did. The meat I wanted, arrachera, was one of the best cuts of beef I’ve ever had — tender and flavorful for a really good price. I was also there for their molcajete salsa and ended up leaving with a pound of each of their salsas(rojas tomatillo ended up being my favorite). All their groceries are really cheap, and pretty good quality too – 8 limes for a dollar, plum tomatoes for $ 0.79/lb! Not only do they have groceries, but food you can eat right there. I’ve been back since, and both times I had to get some tacos, especially at $ 1.25 each, and a couple of pan dulce for $ 0.60/each. I have not been disappointed with anything so far, and plan on returning a lot more.

Wow, this place was awesome. It just opened about 6 weeks ago and they have another store in Hillsboro that has been there for a while. My wife and I were very impressed by the prices, but my favorite part was the wall of meat. They have a huge case that stretches almost the length of the store that is full of all types of meat. We got the ready-to-cook fajitas and I am stoked to cook them up for dinner tonight. This place has everything Mexican food related. It was clean, friendly, and well priced. We will be back for sure.
