They stay busy for good reason. The food is amazing and they’re fast. If you find yourself deep in the numbers, craving a burrito, eat here!

Pretty freaking tasty! Have done tacos and burritos here. Front counter help is usually pleasant– there’s the occasional disenchanted teen, but usually they’re really nice. Oh, did I mention, the food is really good?

This place is awesome. I’m inclined to believe that the food here is authentic — as everyone in the building was speaking Spanish. I’m only 7% fluent in Spanish(thanks Duolingo!) but I’m pretty sure everyone was just talking about how epic their breakfast burritos were. I recommend the bacon breakfast burrito — but have them add grilled onions and peppers. What the!

Mi Pueblo has the BEST tacos this side of town! $ 1.25 per taco with selection of meat choice topped with onions and cilantro and fresh tortillas! I always get 2 Chorizo and 1 Carne Asada taco and it has never disappointed. The staff is always hard working and friendly. Their customer service is amazing as well, My husband ordered us lunch on a busy Saturday and he ordered me all chorizo tacos, well they thought he meant just the meat, when he came home I opened and noticed no tortillas and no sour cream(we ordered on the side). I went back since it is right up the street and told the cashier and showed her what happened(They were SLAMMED btw) She was so nice and insisted on making me a new one, I told her not to worry and if she just wanted to wrap up some tortillas and sour cream for me I can do it at home. She was so nice about it and gave me my tortillas and sour cream and I got to enjoy the best tacos ever! Highly Reccomend!

Pretty decent for a ‘hole in the wall’ Mexican drive up joint. Very reasonable pricing, but the burrito that I ordered was fairly bland. I liked that their hot sauce was actually hot, unlike what you get at other places! The service at the drive up window was not anything to write home about, not impressed with the attitude there

This place is delicious! Everything has so much flavor. It’s nothing fancy inside and a bit loud, but once you take a bite of whatever you order you won’t even care. Staff speaks fluent English, so I didn’t experience any communication barriers. Support local businesses and good food!!!

This place is delicious. It’s definitely a little sketchy looking on the outside, but is worth it. As a native Californian I have high expectations for Mexican food. I went in and ordered 5 different tacos: carnitas, lengua, asada, barbacoa, al pastor. No complaints, they were all great and flavorful. Best of all their salasas were actually spicy which is a great thing bc that is what many places lack. I’ll definitely be back.

So far always good service with a smile! Carnitas are nice and crispy but juicy, getting chorizo for a change but there huarecahe is really good and burritos and tacos are yummy. Prices are reasonable. Taco Tuesday I need to hit up

I stopped here but there was a teenage girl with such a horrible attitude; I walked out. If you asked questions about the food she was annoyed. She did not want to be there. I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

This place has been on my short list of Taco places in Portland to check out. Tacos are prepared authenticity. So, if you’re expecting a po que no(healthier approach to Latin cooking vibe) that, it’s NOT. *Carnitas are very good, great spices, great corn tortillas and just the right amount of fat. *Carne Asada is just OK… I’m a Carne Asada snob. I like larger cuts of Asada and a char flavor.(told you I’m a snob). *Al Pastor just as great as the Carnitas. Just the right amount of spice and heat to these bad boys. They offer you a grilled onion and jalapeño side order free. GETTHAT! Put the grilled onions on your tacos. You can’t go wrong with this wonderful home cooked Mexican restaurant. Home made salsas too! One of the best(authentic) places in PDX.

Coming from southern California where good authentic Mexican food is plentiful, it’s been hard to find Mexican food that matches the quality in Portland. Mi pueblo is the first place I have found that is as good as any place down in southern ca. Good authentic Mexican food that matches l.a. quality Mexican food. Cheap and delicious, al pastor is amazing here, tortas and wet burrito are my favorite. Highly recommend.

My favorite authentic taqueria hands down! The food is always great! Service with a smile, my orders never been wrong and they are quick. I’ve grabbed lunch here with co-workers, I’ve ordered different kind of tacos and had it for meetings and it’s always a hit! If your in area at by. The tacos & sopes are my #1 pick, but it’s all good! Enjoy!

if you are what you eat, i am probably going to turn into a giant pile of carnitas! i just cant get enough of the carnitas at Mi Pueblo Taqueria. the tacos are a fantastic deal at $ 1.25 each and stuffed full of crispy, juicy, just-fatty-enough carnita meat. i meant to take a picture for my fellow Unilocalers but i have no self control and i ate them all. seriously the best carnitas i have had in Portland, hands down. i just want to say carnitas one more time in this paragraph: CARNITAS. yesssss. the prices are incredibly reasonable. the pueblo burrito is a favorite of bigP and he likes it wet with the mild red sauce. when you order they will offer you a side of grilled onions and jalapenos — get that! so delicious, smoky, grilled yumminess. there is a teeny little salsa/condiment bar in the teeny tiny dining area. 4 tables or so? but 4 more outside. it is a very small building! I’ve had the deep fried tilapia and it was good. a tad overcooked for my taste but seasoned well. the horchata is very good and refreshing. real sugar sodas for sale too. the tacos are a super value and i really like the seasoning they use on the chicken. i think Tuesdays bring $ 1 tacos and they are a generous size… if I’m really hungry I can stuff four of them in my belly. carne asada burrito was very good as well. even though I’ve been here 20+ times i haven’t tried much else on the menu because, well, you know… darn carnitas! there is a drive through but it is not marked at all. when you pull into the small parking lot in front, look to the right of the building. there is a little window hidden there. do not expect«fast food» though… they cook everything to order and it’s usually a one man show in the kitchen. they do a fantastic job of getting your order together as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality. the service is very friendly and patient. since i do not speak Spanish sometimes i have to point and they don’t make me feel dumb for doing so. but for the most part the communication is just fine and always friendly.
