Seems like a ma and pap kind of place– the owner was very friendly and down to earth.
They were able to fit me in day-​of for 4 used tires, alignment, and a trailer tire. I was would take about 2 hours, and it took less than that. They didn’t try to push any services and were laid back and warm– hearted.
They feeling was that they were solid in what they do and take pride in their work and returning customers– I like that.
Thank you guys, I will certainly coming back.

Bud and his crew at the tire factory are always amazing. They go above and beyond for me every time I come in. They are honest and trustworthy, I don’t feel like I am ever being taken advantage of when I bring my car in and he gives me options and his honest opinion. I made an excellent decision years ago to try them out and I haven’t been anywhere else since. Thank you for your consistency and honesty you have given me, and the stress-​free visits when I have tire trouble! I am not a fan of car repair, I don’t go anywhere with out my man or someone knowledgeable in tow to get my car looked at, yet I will come here alone and know I am going to be treated for the root of the car problem, not my check book. Thank you doesn’t even seem like enough!

I’ve had positive experiences with Sunset Tire. It’s a family run business where customer service shines. they offer new tires as well as used. i’ve gotten both at very reasonable rates.

Pulled in here at 4:30 on a Friday with a donut on, flat in the trunk. Seemed obvious they’d have me leave it overnight, but they had me out in 30 minutes and even put the donut and tools back in their place. The guy offered me a $ 30 tire (mine couldn’t be patched) or a $ 100 tire, but recommended the cheaper one. The bill came out to an astonishingly cheap $ 35.
This is the kind of business your want to patronize. Family-​owned, personable staff, honesty. None of that couldn’t-care-less corporate garbage. These people care, and they’ll be getting all the business I can send their way.

I needed replacement for two front tires due to bad alignment on my truck. I arrived at Sunset Tire Factory at 08:30 (store opening time). Bud (the owner) asked what my needs were and gave me several options for replacement. He was unable to fix the alignment problem as my truck is a crew cab long bed DRW and his alignment rig is too small to accommodate my truck. The tires I selected where not in stock but where available at local warehouse and the price with labor was well within prices quoted by other local shops so I committed to the replacement of the two badly worn tires. I agreed to return to the shop at 15:00. At around 14:00, I received a call that the tires were in the shop. I arrived ~ 14:30 and before work started, I requested additional service (rotation of the DRW set: left to right) which was added for $ 30 of labor. All work was completed within the hour to my satisfaction. I got no upsell for tires with the highest price tags, no upsell of unneeded service, and no BS. I got honest work and good timely service that I requested. I plan to return here for my future tire needs.

Small, family owned business. Mom answers the phone and son runs the shop. They fit me in at the last minute and were very accommodating and friendly!

This multi generational family owned and operated business is a rare gem. Their beaming customer service is backed by prompt service and a brilliant understanding of the business. Bud — the son of the original owner — is a shining example of the ideal small business owner. He never hesitates to build confidence with his careful explanation of options, and he is always down to shoot the breeze. I am on my 3^rd [free] patch on this set of tires and almost want them to sell me new ones just so I can hang out in the shop for a while. My family has been visiting these guys for decades and will continue to do so as long as we can.

Brought in my aging van to replace the rear tires after one picked up a nail. They provided a good set of new ones, stowed the spare tire and put the jack equipment away for me. All in less than 15 minutes. I didn’t even have time to catch the bus to work before they were done. All for a reasonable price, delivered with kind and knowledgeable service.

I was headed back into town from a camping trip at the beach when my truck started to skip out and stall. I took the next exit off highway 26, and I literally stopped right in front of their store.
They close at 6 p.m. and I went in at 4:40 p.m., so I honestly thought if they could help me, it would be the next day — not the case! I thought the issue was my battery, and the mechanics told me they could check it and put in a new one if I needed before they closed that day.
It turned out that it was my distributor cap, something they don’t typically replace.
These guys ordered the part and installed it in my truck anyway, and all before they closed.
The service I received was simply above and beyond what I expected — they were honest about the life of my battery (excellent), and went out of their way to ensure I drove away in a safe vehicle, regardless of whether it was a normal replacement.
I would recommend this establishment to anyone I know, and I plan to visit again when I need some work done! Thanks guys!

I followed all the Unilocalers on this one, but was disappointed! I had to go back to have a leak looked at three different times. They finally fixed it, but not without my persistence! Too much time wasted here by so many visits.

I always receive exceptional service at this location. Bud and his staff know me by name and my family has been a customer of theirs for at least 15 years now. We have referred a few of our friends and family there as well because we trust this company. We purchase tires, have oil changes, rotors replaced, etc. and every time we are completely satisfied. This was my first time coming to Sunset Tire Factory and I was very happy I did. I called to make a same-​day appointment, schedule was open and I got in very quickly. Prompt service and my car drives great. Will definitely use again for future services.

My Dad and brother have used Sunset Tire Factory for many years and I began using them for my tire needs a couple of years ago myself. All I can say is «Why didn’t I realize how good this place was years ago?» Bud is honest, knowledgable and fair. I’ll never go anywhere else.

As usual, i experienced friendly and fantastic service from the folks there today. Straightforward and honest advice along with fair prices makes this a great place to bring your car. Over time, I’ve had them replace tires, switch battery, change oil, and fix a flat. Although Tire Factory looks like a big business, they are «a group of independent dealers» and Sunset is family-​owned and run. Bud and his crew are always courteous and accommodating. They earn their great reviews and my recommendation.

Honest guys, small shop, fair prices.
They had me in and out in no time, and my car drives like it did when I first got it.
They’re tucked away behind some businesses. They don’t have a large storefront.
The only thing that bothers me is that you have to drive over super bumpy cement and potholes to get in and out of the business parking lot. But I know they have no control over it.

Ok just stopped in to this place by a recommendation from a friend, they are awesome! I have had several quotes on my brakes and all if them trying to tell me I need roters, also both places were wrong o the battery life! They told me I didn’t need roters and I did need a battery, they saved me lots of grief and money because they were honest! Been looking for Good place to take my car I think I have made a new relationship! Very pleases

Bud and crew at Tire Factory are friendly, efficient and honest. Not only have I purchased tires for both vehicles, I have also had brakes replaced, and oil changes with tire rotations. Free WiFi and conveniently located just off hwy 26… family type business!
