That chick who’s hating on the breakfast gnocci is trippin. My boyfriend said it is the best thing he’s ever eaten! I too, adore it. Go support Star Attraction. Great food, nice guy, reasonable prices. Show him some love, especially during these cold winter months!

I finally got to try a food truck in Portland while we were shopping in Sellwood… We both got the breakfast gordita: corn cake, cheese, chorizo, potatoes topped with topped with two over easy eggs and pico de gallo. It was really good and a good sized portion. But compared to other reviews, when I was there 2 weeks ago I think it was $ 6. But it was slow… we got there around 11am. There were 2 people ahead of us who had already ordered. It’s just 1 guy in the truck and it took awhile. We were in no hurry and I went in Blue Kangaroo next door for tea, but speed probably isn’t what to expect here, but at least it’s not pre-made and just re-heated. I would definitely come back!

Really solid breakfast burritos! As another reviewer mentioned, yep, it’s definitely on the gringo side of authenticity, but it’s cheap, fast and tasty, so does the trick. The boy and I were headed out for a hike at Multnomah Falls and stopped by for a quick protein boost. We both ordered traditional breakfast burritos with the works, and they were tasty! Really hearty, with the egg, bacon and potatoes. I think the peppers and onions could have used more zest — pepper, herbs, something? But the hot sauce and pico de gallo that came with the burritos added the needed heat and crunch. These burritos are sizable, too — the boy wolfed his down, but I saved a third of mine and was able to snack on it post-hike. It would be awesome if this cart had fresh juices or something healthier to drink as well! The boy ordered a guava juice, and it was one of those canned juices full of HFCS. Fresh-pressed juice or something more authentic would be perfect here.

I was giddy reading the menu — but which, I thought, they all sound so good! I settled on the breakfast gnocchi. When my breakfast popped out, I was confused. The gnocchi looked like baby tatar tots. They seemed to be deep fried or have some type of batter on them. I’d never had gnocchi like that before. Were they horrible? No. It just wasn’t what I was expecting, the menu made no mention of the fried part. The dish came with bacon, cheese, an «over easy egg»(which was pretty over hard if you ask me) and tomatoes which were okay. The bacon was chopped very small and there wasn’t enough of it to save the day. They whole thing was just uninspired. Unable to really dive into my breakfast I tricked my husband into trading with me. Now, I had the breakfast burrito with chorizo. A few bites in and I just threw in the towel. For a sheer lack of eloquence on my part I’ll just be blunt and say it was a gringo breakfast burrito. The chorizo was a bit mysterious, seeming more like a few had snuck in by mistake then it being a main feature. I will say it’s inexpensive and fast! The menu like I said has potential and maybe I hit an off day? There are two items I didn’t try and hey, maybe they’re great — I just wont be back to try them.

Sadly, we missed the breakfast Gnocci(sold out), which is why we went there. But it turned out in our favor, because we got to try both versions of his breakfast burritos and I must say, UMYUM! We tried to Chorizo breakfast burrito and the traditional as well. The traditional was packed with eggs and bacon and other goodness. The Chorizo had big chunks of sausage, hot sauce, eggs and cheese and other secrets. Each for $ 5 and enough to keep you full for the next 16 hours. Also, the cart is right next door to one of my fave coffee shops, Blue Kangaroo Coffee Roasters. So, grab a burrito and head next door for a cup of joe, and you’ll be all set.

We went for breakfast yesterday and ordered a couple of the breakfast burritos and the breakfast gordita. Prices were great and the food was awesome! Kevin was super cool too!

We nearly missed this place, not realizing it was a food cart(from the GPS on my boyfriend’s phone). I am glad I spotted it in the back of the lot at the corner of 13th and SE Lexington. I ordered the Breakfast Gnocchi. The flavors were fantastic! The colors were vibrant! From the bright yellow yolk of the egg to the brilliant red of the tomatoes, this dish is as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate. This is what REAL food tastes like! AMAZING!

Delicious! Best breakfast option in sellwood. Flavorful and creative decadence for the right price. I’ve now eaten here two days in a row and am figuring out how to budget for daily indulgence here! Five fabulous options for $ 5 – 6 include: *Breakfast Gnocchi(divine Italian potato dumplings with two eggs over easy) *Breakfast Gordita *French Toast *Breakfast Burrito *Breakfast Pizza(currently sold out ;) Kevin is friendly, and his nice signs will direct you to the back corner of the Sellwood food cart pod, it is so worth finding! Lets keep Star Attraction in business!

Had breakfast on a beautiful sunny morning at Star Attraction. I had the French Toast which had a peanut butter-cream cheese spread, sliced bananas, and a drizzle of chocolate-maple sauce. Yummy! It was a just-right sweet mingled with an overall richness. And the thick cut bacon on the side made my day! The rest of the menu items look just as tasty!

Star Attraction is all breakfast, all homemade food, and is really delicious and creative food! You know how it is when you find an incredible place? You want to share it right away. So, here I am. I lucked out and decided to stop by on my way to Blue Kangaroo coffee. I had the Breakfast Gordita(homemade corn cake that’s chewy and flavorful) with cheese, chorizo, potatoes topped with cheese topped with two over easy eggs(perfectly cooked, I might add) with pico de gallo. It was heavenly. It was huge! So big, I shared it with my partner. And, it was $ 5! And, then, I tried the breakfast gnocci($ 6) made fresh every day. It was unbelievably good! It’s sauteed in parmesan cheese and bacon and mushrooms with fresh cherry tomatoes, served with an egg over easy. I love the balance of sweet(tomatoes) and salty(bacon) with parmesan. It’s delicious and wasn’t the least bit greasy! It was as good as anything from my current breakfast faves(Sanborn’s, Zell’s, Marco’s, broder, Toast, or Yolk), most of which are full-on restaurants. Talking with the super friendly owner and chef, Kevin, he says that he’s thought of adding slaw to the Gordita to add more acidity. I love the creativity! And, for you, dear Unilocaler, I want to add the menu: * Breakfast Gnocci(as above) $ 6.00 * Breakfast Gordita(as above) $ 5.00 * French Toast — $ 5.50 Two extra thick pieces of French Toast topped with a peanut butter-cream cheese spread or just peanut butter, fresh banana, maple chocolate sauce, and served open face or like a sandwich with two pieces of bacon or sausage on the side.(Elvis would have loved this, or maybe YOU with a hangover. Or, if you love chocolate banana and bacon, there you go!). ;) Breakfast Burritos $ 5.00 Large breakfast burrito with scrambled eggs and your choice of cheddar cheese, potatoes, grilled onions, bell peppers, bacon, and sausage OR Chorizo egg and potato burrito with cheddar cheese * They also have gluten-free options Hours are Tuesday-Friday, 8:00 — 3:00 and Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 –2:00 The chef/owner was incredibly humble about the deliciousness of his food, and seemed to really care how much I liked it. I love that kind of dedication. So, go. Enjoy! Star Attraction is a delicious experience!
