When I moved to Portland from Seattle, I was so nervous that I wasn’t going to find a good lash artist (anyone who’s had to leave an amazing lash girl knows what I’m talking about). I was going to another lash place in PDX for about 4 – 5 months before I started to see Betty. I can’t believe I missed out on her amazing work for so long!
The real difference between Betty and the other places is her attention to detail. She doesn’t rush her work, she has her own technique, she applies the lashes a certain way that most other places don’t do. She’s all around the BEST at what she does. Also, she’s really easy to talk to. :)

Betty is very professional and easy to talk to, and she will make you laugh! Before coming here, I did have lash extensions and I looked like a clown. I’m glad I found Betty, because the way she does lashes are very natural and look realistic. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Betty is so incredibly skilled at what she does! I don’t get my lashes done often, but when I do, I go to Betty. There are other places that do lashes in PDX and the quality just isn’t comparable to Betty’s work. I had my lashes done elsewhere before and they were so heavy and needed constant maintenance. So I had them removed and fixed by Betty in half the amount of time and came out with beautifully volumized lashes that also weighed nothing! I didn’t even feel like I had extensions in, it was amazing and so natural looking. I definitely recommend her services!

I had been getting my lashes done for over a year by a stylist in Washington, but after moving back to Beaverton the drive was too much for my schedule. I trusted a salon that I went to for my hair when they said they had someone that did extensions. I was very weary and I know trust my gut instincts. I asked for a fill, what I ended up with were all my lashes stuck together in bunches of globs. My eyes burned and even the following two days when taking a shower they burned. I immediately started looking for someone local to fix this because I couldn’t stand it and my usual lady was out of town. That’s when I found Betty at Spades! She gave me a free consult, and worked a miracle on what was a nightmare!!! I had her do all new lashes, and I almost cried at how amazing they were! She saved my lashes and made me look better than even before. I’ll never go elsewhere! Betty is definitely worth whatever wait to see her! I’ll never go to anyone else!

I have been going to Betty for a year and a half. She is such a beautiful, hardworking, funny gal. Always busy working. She consistently makes my eyes look fantastic with her lashes. I like thick dramatic lashes-​normally I would choose doll bundle, but the last time I went to see her, She put on
a volume lash which is lighter than the doll bundle, which is better for your existing lashes. They look super dramatic! My hubby loves the look. I think they’re SEXY! I love them and Betty!

Betty at Salon 77 is great at threading. I was having a hard time finding someone who does lip/​eyebrow threading in Portland and she was recommended to me by someone who works at a waxing salon. She was quick, painless, and enjoyable to talk with. Highly recommended!

Said walk-​ins welcome. Walked 20 min to get there, receptionist was «out» and sign says have a seat we’ll be with you shortly. 15 min later there was still nobody there. Not happy
